What do you guys think of John McAfee announcing that he would run for President of The US if asked by a party or him implying he will start a party on his own with the aims of representing Cryptocurrency in the political world? Will there come a time when Crypto gets so mainstream that it has an effect on the political front in terms of who people vote for depending on their views on Crypto adoption within the country and how they aim to mainstream the currency for use as opposed to an "ancient" fiat currency? Is this just a self serving move on his part or is this a turning point for Crypto in the mainstream world?

Do people still follow him? He seem to have been inspired by Trump but americans like a change.

I love following John McAfee on social media. He is very positive. If he stick to his words then he should make a great president. Donald trump being in power shows that anything is possible. What will the crypto world look like by the time John Mcafee is in power in 2020? BTC Even if John doesn’t get the presidency he will elevate cryptocurrency to new highs giving cryptocurrency a lot of media coverage in his election campaign. He is definitely one to watch out for in the next coming months/years. Onwards and upwards.

Does this mean that he will be executing his oath performance, live on TV from the Oval Office, when Bitcoin doesn't reach $1,000,000 in 2020?

Of a truth, John McAfee is popular on social media but politics has gone beyond that. Over 60% of people that will be voting aren't on social media and not all the 40% left will vote.

Anyway, this is not difficult to be a better president than Trump, and, probably, he will make the crypto great again...

He will be even worse than Trump. John McAfee is the guy who was ready to approve any ICO, in return for a small monetary donation. Many of the ICOs which he approved turned out to be scams and unsuspecting investors lost a lot of money in them.

McAfee founder and crypto enthusiast, John McAfee is back and has gained spotlight yet again, as he announced of running for Presidential
Elections of the U.S. in 2020.

It doesn't come much as a surprise as John also stood previously in 2016 for the Libertarian Party nomination, however, lost it to Gary Johnson,
the former New Mexico governor. But it certainly helped him get closer to the U.S. Politics.

Seeing the current president, Donald Trump, it seems quite possible for John to get elected.

He is reportedly corrupt and accepts bribery to advertise ICOs.

Agree. I was just being sarcastic, for I know what kind of activities this guy is leading. But I just can help myself and stop smiling when I see people that actually support this kind of people to become presidents of the US. What's going on with the US population? They don't care anymore about the image they are giving to the world? They have Trump already, a big joke. Can they just be thinking about McAfee, the big scammer, as a great solution? Finally, they voted for Trump, another great scammer, a racist, a pedant and an ignorant...

I and my whole family will vote for mcafee if he eats his dick and keeps his promise.

There it goes. I don't see this guy to be the one to voice out for the crypot community, he does invest in crypt we all knew that but what the community needs is someone who has the passion for opensource and yet an economist. And probably a developer himself but that could make him bias to some coins in the end.

One very important thing that should not be forgotten is the fact that Trump became president because the Democrats rigged their primaries to give nomination to Hillary. Trump would have easily lost, if Sanders was the Democrat nominee.

That's almost impossible. Sander's support was radical fringe, not mainstream.

Most democrats would have stayed home, rather than go vote for sanders.

Trump beat the other Republican candidates and then beat the Democratic candidate, fair and square. Hillary beat Sanders through lying and cheating.

First thing, is he being backed by "Putin"  ;D ;D Well this is how politics is played in states these days..
