Title: Looking for an affordable Scrypt ASIC miner Post by: film2240 on January 31, 2014, 03:26:05 PM Hi
I've been looking into this for sometime but since I want to start adopting Scrypt based ASICs for my mining operation and retire that Radeon HD6950 once and for all (yeah I know,don't get me started on how slow they are) Can someone help me find an option that can ship to the UK (we'll discuss import duties via PM as it's best to know how to handle that)? I've added the Ant miner U1 since I got it yesterday and it gives me very good results around 3.5GH/s (reported by asteriod on my mac).The room temperature is less than 18oC so this will work with no problems except that I can only mine SHA-256 based alt coins instead when I'd rather have a good option for both (a scypt ASIC will fill the gap) as well.
