Title: Big Data for cryptocurrency
Post by: uv828 on June 05, 2018, 01:38:23 PM
So I came across this website called topbit.io (http://topbit.io) couple of days ago and I was wondering if anyone else's using it.
They say that the website shows "real-time charts and prices of 6,500 coins and 1,200 Cryptocurrency utilizing a Big Data Processing Technology."

I like the information I'm getting from this website, but not sure if it's accurate and whether I should keep using this or use something else.

i can not access the website i get a 403 permission error so the site is not even worth checking out.
but just for the sake of it i took a look at the site for you.
the design is not bad, it looks mostly like bitcoinwisdom but with a lot more pairs. but has none of the options that bitcoinwisdon
i could not figure out what the update rate of the data is, but it certainly is NOT live (real time). there is a delay in it.

I like the information I'm getting from this website, but not sure if it's accurate and whether I should keep using this or use something else.

it depends on what you want to use it for.
if it is for trading purposes and making actual decisions and executing orders then NO, you should only use the exchanges live and nothing else.
but if it is just to see the price and know what is generally going on then it is fine to use tools like this. but when it comes to decision making you should go to the exchange.

I think if the website is just for showing information and stuffs about the current trend of the market, it's OK because it's an informative site that carries BIG DATA that can supply information to various user. However, if the site you encountered asks for some of your information and it will be used in trading/exchange, then think thrice before engaging on it because it may possess a great threat on your belongings.

The big data must be that BTC prices are likely to continue to fall, the market has lost its heat, the real bear market has come, and now it is more patient than ever.
