Title: [ANN] The 1.x Million DOGE Challenge! Starting Friday 31st Jan on Poolerino.com
Post by: Mikellev on January 31, 2014, 04:41:43 PM
Ladies and Gentleman,

http://doge.poolerino.com is proud to present our first USA Stratum! (stratum+tcp://doge-us.poolerino.com:3333)

So we did set our first foot in this great country.
To celebrate this moment, we want to invite you to mine with us and have the chance to win:

1,000,000.00 Doge (or more)!

How to:
First place: Catch the BIG BOY - Find a block with biggest block reqard up to 1 Million (or exact 1 million) coins in it, within the time until last million block is possible and get that doge extra - just for you!
Last place: You found the smallest block in that time? No problem: You get 2x the amount of that block in coins to your wallet!

Example: Your block is 998,889 Doge -> you get 998,889 Doge (1st price) or your block is only 22,456 Doge -> you get 44,912 Doge! (2nd price)

Terms for this game:

1. Competition starts Friday 31. January 2014 - 09 PM GMT+1 (3 PM EST, 1 PM PST)
2. Competition ends when the last possible 1 Million Dogecoin block is solved by the network (est. + 14 days from now, Block # 100,000)
3. You are a valid block finder at doge.poolerino.com from today until last possible block.
4. In case of 2 or even more block finders with the same highest or lowest amount, the coins of this block will be split between these miners.
5. Your Username will be mentioned here while the game runs, we announce daily best and worst block found, so you can't stay anonymous.
6. You don’t have to mine with us all the time! But more mining and more hashes = better chances to find the winner block.
7. You can use world, europe or new usa stratum, doesn't matter.
8. As soon block number 100,000 is found, we will announce the winner here in the forum and at http://doge.poolerino.com
9. First price of max 1 Million Doge (max blocksize) will be paid to the winner within 24 hours after last block. (Example: Your block is 998,889 Doge -> you get 998,889 Doge)
10. Second price goes to the poor smallest block finder, but don't worry - we double that ! (Example: Your block is only 22,456 Doge -> you get 44,912 Doge!)
11. You can enter the game anytime until last possible 1 Million block reward doge block is found.
12. There are 2 (two) price to win 1. up to 1 million doge and smalles block reward found x 2

Remember: http://doge.poolerino.com - 0% Fee - Google authenticator - chat and a great community !

I assume the alternate port(3334) is fine too? Is there anything in particular to enter that needs doing, or is everyone not set anonymous automatically in? Also, meh for prizes that are biased towards high hashrate. :<

Hi OP,

I'm not sure if its just me but your pool is rejecting like 80% of my shares :/

cgminer keeps saying that the US pool is offline and unreachable.

Is there a problem with the pool?

Thanks!

Mikellev, hi!

I have one question!

I mined for last 2 days on 3334 port. Yesterday my valid shares were around 34.000 - the unconfirmed status stays all the time on 0. Today when I check the valid share status it were around 6900 but I did not get those 34.000 shares in my confirmed status. Can you tell me what happened? It is frustrating, to see lost those 34.000 shares somewhere  ??? ???

Well this isnt our support thread but pls check your transactions. We found last block this morning, due to the server move, the block before was on wednesday. So take a look into blocks also.
When still dont find anything, send me a mail, admin@poolerino.com, with your username and email in the pool, Ill take a deeper look.

Mike

I'm fairly new to mining but has been a member of poolerino for a month now. My question is, block finding is fairly random right?

Yes, if you are looking at coinwarz or your pool estimate forget it. If 1 m/h says you should get 6000 doge a day, you will get about 1500 a day is all. It would make sense that sometimes you should get extra but you never will, it will never average out to the estimate. At 5.1 M/h coinwarz and pool estimates say I should get 30k per 24 hours. I usually get about 8k in 24 hours. Very decieving. I think pool operators take advantage of this and skim coins off the top into their accounts.

Oh yea, of course. Everybody is scamming you, the poor miner. For sure.
I dont know what this has to do in our doge contest thread, but thanks for bumping it.

And next time you talk such bulls*it, inform yourself about dogecoin mining, estimates, pure luck whats inside the blocks (block reward) and luck in solving blocks, hashrates and more.
Ah , we got a FAQ on our server for that.

Then when you are a bit more informed, come back and teach others. Thank you.
