Three quarter million dollar house and no pictures. Might as well post an address while you're up to it.

I do not know what the legal issue for bitcoin in London is, but I am sure that this forum is not the place for such deals.
Also a newbie account, without pictures, warranties, or proof of ownership makes it difficult to find interested in this offer.
The most crucial question is why precisely this number "92.77 BTC" not 100BTC or 90BTC

Norbury is an upscale neighbourhood hence the high asking price.
Pictures however are needed as well as further information.
@OP, I’m not sure how likely a sale on here would be but nonetheless that’s probably the best place to start.

I don't know how dumb this is.  If was selling a house I would advertise it everywhere I could.  And, in all honesty, I've seen enough in my short time here to know better than posting identifying photos of my shit, let alone an address.  If I found this interesting enough I would inquire in private, and would be glad for the OP's initial discretion.

Posting an address is now against GDPR rules becuase you could easily use it to look up the owner with land reg and tenants with QAS, so it's personal data up because it can be used in conjecture with other public information. (Internal)Pictures are less sensitive, however external ones and google street view is causing gdpr izsues for estate agents. Now how about providing your public address and staking a signature from a wallet with the funds so I know your serious?  :)

As to why not 100BTC well the same reason that shops don't price everything in round numbers, it increases sales becuase it sounds cheaper, the volatility risk of Bitcoin is priced in and the desired amount +risk translates to that. You can of course offer 99.99BTC or 100BTC if you prefer.

If the price was the main issue, then you;d be better off  looking outside of London. I can put you in contact with other vendors if your interested.

Sorry don't know anyone in the US. The nickname on paper is clever, would it not be better to put a wallet signature on the paper and stake the address here as it would be harder to impersonate and more useful across forums? I'm happy to provide pictures privately to anyone who is interested, although I will have to take them again if you want the paper in the picture.

Pictures of the house with your nickname written on a piece of paper would maybe give you (some) credibility.

For me the price is not the issue, the fact that it ain't America is the issue.

The price is also an issue here that one would cough out about $697,500 to buy a 3 bed house? Would that not buy an entire building? I don't get, how people reason that he could just put the advert and someone will come running ready to part away with 92btc without any justification for that whatsoever. I doubt if anyone has that kind of money and wanted to buy such property wouldn't want to do it with swam of lawyers from both ends with government agencies also present to ensure things are going on smoothly. Good luck in finding a buyer.

There are plenty of locations in teh US where $700k will barely buy you a shithole.  Look at the median price of a house on Manhattan Island, or some of the more sought after locations in and around NY City.  In the San Francisco Bay Area you'd be lucky to find a refrigerator box under an overpass with views of Golden Gate Park for that price [/exaggeration].  It's not surprising at all that an upper-crust neighborhood in London would fetch prices like that.

I don't see anything in this thread to suggest the seller expects a buyer to send BTC without the due diligence typical of a real estate transaction.

The point that the suggestion has no pictures and particular information, it could be tricky to made the deal with crypto without knowing laws for such deals. Just in one moment it may appear that the deal has no sense by the law and your new house actually not yours.

Well it is close to Croydon, however location, location location.(12 Minutes to city of Westminster via local rail station.) Further out locations in nicer areas could very well be availble at the same price

Yes, any serious buyer would of course want to go through legal complaince (the solicitor would take the bitcoin in this case, and all UK laws would be observed of course.
