Title: How to move tokens in etherdelta wallet to MEW?
Post by: cryptoproLK on June 11, 2018, 11:26:02 AM
I have some coins received from bounties in my Etherdelta wallet. These coins are not listed in etherdelta wallet. So how I move these coins to an exchange or MEW wallet? As the token is not listed on etherdelta we can't see tokens when i go to Transfer tab of Etherdelta exchange.

I don't think you can access the tokens directly from ehterdelta, but you can just export your private key and use it with MEW. The tokens are associated with the address.

You need to import your etherdelta  wallet to myetherwallet using the private keys. After you had done that  the next thing you need to do is to load the token using the  contract address of the particular token you want to move from etherdelta to myetherwallet. You can then send the coins to whatever wallet you want to.

The users above are right.

1. Go to MEW;
2. Go to the "Send Ether & Tokens" tab;
3. Select private key;
4. Paste your Etherdelta wallet private key;
5. Send your tokens/ETH to your main MEW wallet address.

Yes, you can not find many tokens which are received from the bounty. First login you mew and than click send ether than given your private key and find an option visit this site https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/.Your coin must be lost if you send your token any wrong wallet so please visit first https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/ thanks and best of luck.

First you need to link the Delta to your wallet by entering the private key from the wallet. Then add a coin to the Delta using the contract address of the coin. After that, it is possible to enter and output tokens. Do not forget to enter and output required 0.001 ETH on the transaction fee.

Im confused here, any enlightment? How come you will get your bounty reward in your Etherdelta wallet. Obviously it should be in your Etherium main wallet and you can accessed that even you created an account via ED.

Anyways any ERC20 tokens can be traded to Etherdelta even it's not listed officially on the site. Just manually add it and that's it (although at most of the cases, there is no liquidity). That's why Im confused. How come you able to put that tokens on Etherdelta wallet if you don't have an idea about the manual add. Or did I missed something?

I think you should review your questions because you cannot get your bounty tokens paid on etherdelta wallet. I know that when you search for a coin using the contract address, it can show up on etherdelta and then you'd have to transfer (deposit) ontothe etherdelta exchange before you can trade, and the same thing in vice versa when you want to withdraw

Etherdelta is a decentralized exchange and you can forced list every erc20 tokens in that exchange even if it is not officially listed.
how to do it? just go to their site click the token ticker there's an arrow down and you will see a bunch of tokens scroll down to the last one
and you will "other" tick that and input your tokens details and you are good to go. You can also perform the transfer function now.

Actually there is a shortcut looks something like this "https://etherdelta.com/#Replace with token contract address-ETH"

This explorer is good you can see listed and unlisted tokens on delta: https://deltabalances.github.io/

Hi, I think he created an Ethereum wallet via etherdelta there is an option there "new account" and it will give you a new wallet with private key.
So  I think that's why he called it Etherdelta wallet because it is created from there.

I think bounties don't accept ethereum wallet from exchange site so if you have tokens i think is already in your MEW wallet

There is no way for them to tell if you providing an ETH address from an exchange or your own MEW wallet.

That is why ICOs/Campaigns tell you NOT to use an exchange address. The reason being that for most exchanges you don't have access to the private key... and moving the tokens will be difficult if the exchange does not support that token.

EtherDelta is different, as it is a DEX (Decentralised Exchange) you have access to the private key and complete control over all the tokens sent to the address... as explained above, you can "manually" list a coin on EtherDelta, but liquidity is usually very low and your chances of selling/buying is not great
