Over 90% of ICOs fail, and hence the token could be worthless. Do not accept a project trying to convince you their token has value now, because it simply doesn't. In fact, all ICOs expect to succeed, but only 10% do, and the 10% that do are usually the well-funded projects that can afford to pay cash, rather than tokens.
