Title: BFL Single Firmware 2.5.0 Post by: guardian222 on February 03, 2014, 11:16:24 PM I have a newer Butterfly Labs Single 50GH/s, built in January 2014. The sticker on the unit says firmware 2 5 0, I assume 2.5.0.
I flashed the unit to 1.2.9 and the unit will no longer work. Computer will show a "BitForce 256SHA" connected via USB, but cgminer and bfgminer will not detect the unit. It was working fine before the firmware downgrade. I have tried many settings in 1.2.9 and nothing works. I can not find a replacement firmware. The board looks good with no apparent damage. Does anyone out there have a single firmware of 2.0 or greater? Or any other suggestions? Thanks in advance! Are you really surprised that it is bricked?
