Title: High-end watch Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Geographic
Post by: MANofthePEOPLE on February 04, 2014, 01:14:53 AM
Hi guys!

Looking to see if there's any interest for my watch as I basically never use it. It's in mint condition and look as good as new. I have the box and certificate of authenticity.

11 BTC. I am willing to do escrow but since it leaves me open to getting shafted I prefer to sell it to an old user.

Below is pictures I took from another forum and the last pictures taken by worst photographer ever are mine.. :D Can do more pictures of my own with good quality if there's genuine interest.

Thanks! Yea, it's an amazing watch by an amazing brand but since it's not being used I feel it's too much money just laying around. That and the fact I want more bitcoins  :D

Bump! Updated topic as some of you might not have heard about JLC. It's about as high-end as it gets, up there with Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin.

I dont think I can agree with that statement.

Patek Philippe is at the top of the top, with many watches fetching over 250K, same with VC,

JLC is high end but not comparable to PP or VC.

Yes, I agree. I would put it tier 1: above mentioned, tier 2: JLC and a few others, tier 3: Rolex, Breitling etc. But most people view Rolex as the absolute top notch so grouping JLC with PP isn't far off. Besides, Jaeger manufactured the movement for Patek Philippe.

Fun stuff, reminds me why I bought it  :D Weighing the ups and downs from different brands

I can agree with that, but here are my changes,

tier 1 Patek Philippe, vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, A. Lange & Sohne, GIRARD-PERREGAUX, Piaget.
tier 2 Rolex, Breitling, Hublot, Corum, Bell & Ross, Cartier.
tier 3 Tag, Longines, ect.

Well then JLC would end up at tier one as well ;)

Anyways I'm no expert!

I never understood how people can wear such an expensive watch without being paranoid about it getting damaged or ruined.

P.S.  Nice watch

Same way we drive around in expensive cars! ;)

Don't think it's a problem unless you use it in the garage or something. If you, like me, only use it at certain events it should be fine.

So since BTC haven't been so volatile lately people might be more willing to part ways with their bitcoins so I'm gonna see if there's any interest now. I'm asking 12 BTC.
Cheers
