Hello, what do you think will happen in august ? Now is it a good time time to buy, I have some altcoin like exrnchain, eos, litecoin I think this will boom in august, what do you think ?

most likely in August the price will start to green again. I would recommend long positions after a break of the 20 day EMA and downtrend lines. if bear forces to break below $ 8000 level, this will show weakness and the digital currency may slide to $ 7000 less and below it to the $ 6000 level. we will get a clear picture in the coming days. I think in August the price will reach $ 10,000 again so altcoin like EOS and litecoin will come back up like before.

now is the most appropriate time to buy bitcoin and some other potentially good alt in August. I think you better choose alt like, ethereum and xrp because these two coins have good potential if used as a tool for short term investment, compared with litecoin, litecoin always moving slowly, both coins are able to move quickly following big coin steps such as bitcoin .

It is hard to say about August right now, but the prices may continue to fall. It may not be a good time to invest this year.

Why do you think this will happen in August? I am not sure, but there needs to be an increase in demand for these coins in order for the price to go up. What will cause demand to increase in August? When you say that there will be a boom, how much do you think the price increase will be? if we hit $9000 that would be great, but doubtful. We definitely won't see anything close to the ATH. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it... New money needs to flow into this space. I think it will be a while before we see a Boom in price.

Yup, really no point speculating about 2 months from now, beyond the fact that we're in a downtrend. So it's best to assume we'll see lower prices yet, especially for altcoins. There's still nothing but lower highs and lower lows.

If holders are lucky and this doesn't go full bear like 2014, then we should still expect some prolonged sideways. I wouldn't expect anything like 2017 for quite a while.

In August it is likely that the market price will be greener and move to higher prices. Be patient and do not sell right now, hold for the next few months, then you will get a better price.

The current price corrections should be over by the end July and we should expect to start to see another upwards price movement from August and that is going to run through out the remaining part of the year.  August is actually a  time to watch over as many coins are going to get serious recovery.

Bitcoin is unpredictable we don't know what will happen this coming August but the movement of the price of bitcoin is the same as what happen last 2015 and 2016 so I think the price of bitcoin will stay at the current price and then november and december will be increase the same what happen last last year that bitcoin increase around november and december.
That is why this is the time right now to buy bitcoin and hold before and of this year.

I think the real boom will happen somewhere between October to November. If you want to earn a lot then wait for December or at-least November. In August there will be a little boom in the price because market will experience a boom in Late July or start of August. World Cup of football will be in exciting at that time, so it should be effecting market.

What do I think? Im just riding the wave. It's difficult to speculate what will happeend in a specific month but what matters here is, price rise will happened soon and we can again some hype that will make bitcoin makes another trip to the moon.

The prices of almost all cryptocurrency is low, so it's a good time to buy during the dumps. Some do not know how this works so they result to buying when it is high. Buying low and selling is the main ways and strps of making it in cryptocurrency. So it is not advisable to buy high and sell off low because this is a loss.

No one can say what August will bring to us. Actually June was touted to bring us the break out run that we needed, unfortunately, it turn out to be one of the worst month because we touch the bottom again and I think its all-time-low for this year ($6K). So I'm still not convince that we are going to see the market goes to $10K which we all wanted to see.

So all I can say is that I hope that we can go and break the 5 digit barrier again so that we are still in the target for at least a good $13K-$15K at the end of the year. But at the back of my head, I wouldn't put too much expectations as I don't want to be disappointed or frustrated in the end.

Nearly half a year the cryptocurrency market crashes and until now the price of cryptocurrency will drop again drastically. Usually, if investors have seen the price of cryptocurrency in the lowest position they will return to buy, this we hope will happen. Indeed, now is the best time to buy all the price of cryptocurrency has decreased drastically, but we will never know that will happen in the next few days.

For me no one really knows what will happends in August, but i think that month till December or maybe January i can assure you that is the bullish month of cryptos, now this is the right time to buy when the price is at dip.

August might become a normal month for cryptomarket, a pump and dump market will happen again but I just hope it will be more pump this time. We are not sure what will happen on august. Because we dont hold what will happen in the future. But for me im just expecting that price of bitcoin together with all the prices in the market will get higher.

The ongoing year is not that going good with the predictions made by the experts as well the user community. Even at steeper price drop the recovery has been happening to certain extent and the same will mark the year progress by the third quarter and for the same the price might begin to pump in a short.

Why August? Why not September or October? I think that before the fall there will be no positive news. Moreover, autumn is the most optimistic scenario. The price of crypto currency can not grow without reasons. Positive moods should appear on the market. I now do not see any prerequisites. Perhaps this year all will pass with a minus sign.

I am like 90% certain that literally nothing is going to happen in august, price will just be around the same level at 6-7k per bitcoin and we will keep on chilling in the bear market. There has to be like a half of a year before the last serious drop to get some signs of bull market.

In my opinion, no any significant rise or dump will happen on the crypto exchange markets in this August, because it is a time for vacations. I guess the large investors will not worry about the situation on the crypto exchange markets, and they will have a rest at some health resort without trading at all. Beside all the hype about BTC, all I see is a waste of electricity in mining BTC, creating noise and heat pollution for traders/investors/whales etc to make quick profit.

Honestly, if there's no real value in BTC, i doubt the price of BTC will ever reach ATH again. So-called investing in Crypto is just sugar-coating the greed to make profit out of something that didn't really add value to anyone. If the bitcoin does not pass the ascension, the other coins will not pass the ascension. So I need to think well. In the coming months there are some projects that will pass on to life. for example helbiz. I have received a very low price now. the project is moving fast. I have an x50 level expectation when the beta version is completed.

Maybe it could be in a green zone with a slow moving upward price but nothing is sure about in predicting crypto prices. Let's just hope that it will turn to be a good swing by that month.

There is no 100% perfect speculation on any crypto coin can be made but as per my observation August month you may get at least some profit of 10% to 20% I think. The crypto currency market is always volatile and the price fluctuation would be always there and the price may be high or low and that depends on the particular time market situation.

Most of the traders and investors are actually waiting for the dip of each bitcoin and altcoins if they are going to experience that, assume that this June the dip was finally reached, then there's a possibility that it will increase gradually next July but that is not a 100% accurate expect the better or the worse situations that is going to happen next month.

There's still time for a bull run, but it's very unlikely that we'll see one as big as the last one. There was a lot of hype around cryptocurrencies last year, especially Bitcoin, we saw tons of dumb money coming into the cryptosphere as people expected to earn quick money with btc and other cryptos...now, the hype has cooled down, more people understand how this whole thing works so we won't see the same craziness as last year. We might see a recovery and even a surge in the price at the end of the year, but we shouldn't expect to see a new ATH.

Yes the price of bitcoin will boom by the end of this year. Now the market is at bottom, slowly it will recover. It takes time to recover from this current situation. By the end of july itself the market starts to increase. From august the growth of bitcoin will be gradually increase and by the end of this year the price of bitcoin will have tremendous growth.

I've witten numerous times here, that in my opinion, summer is and always was a dead season for BTC. Although there are a pair of interesting meet-ups happening in the end of August, I tend to think that we won't see high price till late Fall or even December.

Im not expecting any events at August so I just continued what do I need to do.

August, September or whatever months, it's a must that we do our best to accumulate coins since it's already proven that bearish market will not lasts and soon a big pump will prevail again creating a hype. Now if you think that your set of coins will give you a good returns someday, then stick with your idea and see if that will happened.

Yes, the price of bitcoin decreased pretty hard since December 2017 but what about May 2017,January 2017 the price still is in good position.Always don't compare the prices with all time high that was just a hyped one so we are getting back to the real growth now.Maybe the price call fall or raise more in the coming days but if you can hold it is years then you will understand that it is still capable of producing profits to its investors.

Yes i agree to your theory, the prices of cryptocurrency last year is starting to pump up again before the ber months started and it might happen again this year because some governments are already legalizing cryptocurrency on their country.

I think it is good to buy now since most of the cryptocurrency is at it's cheapest. No one knows until when will the market dip, but one thing is for sure, once the market recovers, those who have bought the dip can double or even triple their investments. Looking at the early days of July we can predict the market of bitcoin for the falling months. Being the third quarter of the year the price pumping should get initiated, in the past almost every year has got the similar growth pattern. We don't know what happens next, all that we can do is to speculate about getting best.

Not quite sure what will happen in August, I do not know clearly with the future market conditions, because it is very difficult to predict, everything that happens depends on the intention of someone to buy from now, and some people better wait because the price may come back decreased.

There is no accurate prediction but i believe that it might start to increase or pumps up again and right now is the best time to invest while the market price is still low in order to earn more profit in the future.

The point is that by the end of each year .. Crypto market mostly always get pumped , a lot of people can see that pattern clearly, I just not sure if Bitcoin price itself could crossed $13k or even $10k anytime soon. I was expecting something to happen in august like a little pump but I don't see anything unusual. I might have miss something like a news or an announcement that would create FOMO again just like last year. Don't have altcoins that you have though but I think Ethereum would do just as fine as those you have. Not really expecting much but I'm expecting a rise this November and December just like the history of cryptocurrency market told me. Let's hope for the best.

What specific marker are you using to gauge that speculation, 'dark days'; I think IMO, bitcoin's performance depends a lot on the outcome of G20 meeting on cryptocurrency regulation recommendations coming up next month.

I don't know the other coins that you mention but I I know the only one and that's the litecoin, I think the possible price of the litecoin in the month of august is around 400-500 dollars and I think it will increase the price very high before end of this year 2018.

Usually during summer, the prices of altcoins are always bound to increase hugely and that I am sure will be the case as well for this period.

We cannot say yet how things may end up turning out for most of the coins or tokens in the market, but let's just hope we at least get to see some upward movement around then. Like you said, with respect to ICOs, I am really and eagerly waiting to see the outcome of some of them around this time which I believe would be really worth the wait.

I believe that the price of bitcoins in august will soon to increase again because there are a lot of people who are going to start investing by that time just like what happened last year when the market price go up before the year ends.

For me no one can predict in august because it depends of demand and supply of cryptocurrency if you planning to buy its good everyday to buy because theres a big chances in the future all crypto will goes up because bitcoin price will rise and reach the original price in the future.if you plan now to buy its good also because the price is down.

I've realized this scheme again after bitcoin almost touch 10k again in may. and i tought it will definitely be back again like this ($6000) and that is real happen now .This is the 7th time the schema i ever felt. Lucky i am not falling for condition for 2nd time .

Considering 90% of posts in this thread are bullish it means we are not yet at the bottom. August pries will be not that much lower as are now, but bear trend will continue. We are low already so prices will not go that much down anymore, but when next bull trend will start is a big question. It is not showing it will this year.

No one will ever know the right time or not the right time but one thing I know right now is there is a high probability that bitcoin is not done with the downtrend and anyone who is trying to do anything now should be a bit careful with the market and at the same time not expect so much.

It is still too early to start assuming any increase, most especially for bitcoin. The truth here is that the market is not even looking like there is a chance for a bull trend yet.

For altcoins however, I am sure we may see some little uptrend and some consolidation period for bitcoin which could cause some recovery for the altcoin market and of course huge increase as the case may be. Time will tell anyway since we are getting closer to August.

I don’t know what will happen in August. Different opinions around here. Some say it will hit $3000 and some say it is the lowest price of bitcoin and now it will grow again. In August it will reach to $10000 and till the end of this year it will cross $15000. If I believe these predictions I will buy a lot of bitcoin to earn huge profits in just a few months.

You would love that, don`t you? I believe we touched bottom already, from August price will start climb up again and it would be nice for price to recover it`s previous all times high before the end of this year, but I would be satisfied with 5 digits price.
Like op you are just trolling, what ever he plans to do in August he can do now, waiting month can be a good if you believe in drops, but price can easily f. you up by jumping to +10k dollars and you will regret for not buying while it was 6k dollars. We make our own destiny, so do what you think it`s best for you.

I do not understand why you think he is trolling?  It is totally normal prediction. I gave it a lot of chances to happen.

It is also possible that we hit bottom already. But that would be really fast bottom. Happened once before then in 2014.  I give little chances for your prediction.


My personal call for bottom is September 2017.  I see predictions from that it already happened till summer 2019.   Lets pray that those last are wrong. Because after bottom is hit there is long time of price going sideways.

If the market keeps on progressing in this manner with stability then august will serve as an important month for bitcoin this year taking the price reach big value. From my personal opinion the growth has begun, we need to have the trust and provide the support to get rid of the manipulators for a real growth.

it seems that in August this will be a lot of coins that have rising prices because it has started to move and the price slump will not always go down there will be time to rise in price.

The market of Bitcoin will improve in the next 8 months by at least 25k dollar increase in value which is the expert opinion.  We also need an immediate recovery in the market of Bitcoin but we can just expect and nothing more.
