Cryptocurrency is great, it is not possible to say how many persons know it but most persons do not know about it. Who's online income for those interested in to cryptocurrency great. This number of persons who have cryptocurrency know. But most  of the countries have this acquaintance.

Nowadays lot of people from the third world countries keep interested in crypto earnings because this can help them to earn lot than their daily job but still less people know about the crypto earnings.

Yes cryptocurrency is very great, but we cannot predict how many persons know that. 80% of the people now know about bitcoin. Because bitcoin would change many people lifestyles. Many of the youngsters now doing bitcoin as their main job. It will give more benefits, people can earn lot from bitcoin. This makes bitcoin very famous among the people. People are now very much interested to invest in bitcoin for their future.

I don't think that 80% of world population know about the bitcoin because if they know then the bitcoin will reach more expensive and the current users of bitcoin is very very less and most of them were using it for trading.But if the people knows about bitcoin they still afraid now because of the huge dump from the beginning of this year but we need to take risks if we want to make money.

I highly doubt that 80% of the population already heard of cryptocurrencies or bitcoin.

You can't do 'bitcoin' as a job.
Just because an IT company is building something around BTC / crypto, they are not directly involved into BTC in the first place.

Most of the people here denoting crypto trading as the bitcoin job so he also maybe saying about doing crypto trading as their job.But doing trading as our primary job is not a good idea and it will never give secured future so doing them as part time job can give us some extra earning.

We can't really estimate the number of people who are on the platform of cryptocurrency but quite a number of people are getting to know it with the access from the social media especially the Google.

If you we will take a sample of computation from the current number of world's population which is estimated 7 billion.

7 billion x 80% = 5.6 B people and that's a lot so that's not accurate to say that we're that many. Also there's no one that can give an accurate estimation on how many we're really right now.

Well now a day bitcoin is better than our job, we can earn money using our job, now bitcoin is at demand which makes our earner even more than the previous income, there are a lot of people who use bitcoin as a job and some are there who are using bitcoin, people are involving in bitcoin to make profit, so I think now 90 out of 100 counties are aware of bitcoin benefits.

For those who engaged in cryptocurrency, definitely yes cryptocurrency is great. As of now many people already know about cryptocurrency because of social media and some are influenced by their friends or relatives who also engaged in cryptos.

Well as far as i know, many people knows about cryptocurrency because of the evolution of technology. Most people find for a job or we say part time job like joining in bounty projects and they find it more interesting.

The awareness of people in developed countries is great but in many other countries the majority of people do not know what bitcoin is about, while this is bad at the same time we need to consider this as an opportunity, the value of the network goes up the more people are in it, that is why a social network like Facebook has value, so we must take advantage of this and invest in promising coins while we have the opportunity.

Yes, crypto currency has been in existence for long and has attained a great value, yet In the face of the popularity of cryptocurrency, one major issue we are facing is the thorough understanding of digital currency works. Well I think now almost everyone knows about bitcoin as I guess 90% of countries and people are aware of bitcoin and the benefit of bitcoin, only few % of people are unknown to bitcoin, so we should let that 10% people about benefit and increasing potential of bitcoin so it will be good for us as well, don’t ignore any news about bitcoin, just invest now as price of bitcoin is gona be too high.

It's hard to say exactly how many people involved in crypto but definitely lots of. And people are earning huge moeny from those projects. I also involved myself in a crypto project which is working for scientific data validation (SciDex). Glad to be a part into this crypto.

Its really a big big questions. Because there is no exact statistical data about this . So its not possible to how many peoples are related with bitcoins. I don't think that 80% of world population know about the bitcoin because if they know then the bitcoin will reach more expensive and the current users of bitcoin is very very less and most of them were using it for trading. In reality most of the people who use the internet and social media are aware and knows cryptocurrency, however only a certain percentage are interested to it as there are still many people who do not believe in it and its potential. Not so many people knows that cryptocurrency is that great. A lot of FUD have been flying around and you know what they say FUD spreads more like wildfire than the real thing. As far as I know, there's no exact figure as to how many are into crypto right now. Perhaps a good gauge is how big the trading volumes are, but its not accurate. Crypto is still in its infancy though, we may have reach greater audience, but we haven't gone to the top as of yet. All know that crypto is a scam, rat poison and other things so negative that you won't even want to learn it.

we can't also count the number of addresses from bitcoin wallet because there are wallets with many addresses.
we can't count the number of wallets as people using many wallets for security.
and we will be countless for a long time or forever.

I am not agree with your thinking because mate if you take a deep look of the market you will get to know that market has turned to the digital system now, it has a lot of payment  and shopping places, bitcoin is for sure getting the place of bitcoin infect it is getting above fiat now because it is double in benefits some are using  it as payment and some are using it as an asset so don’t worry about eh market just trust on it keep investing and convince them to use who are not having trust on it

I live in Kazakhstan. And we have few people who know about the crypto currency. And those who have not heard much about crypto, treat it negatively, although not even trying to learn something about it

The bitcoin awareness in first world countries among the young population is very high but there is a big problem, most of them do not have the money to invest, I remember that when I had that age I had almost no money and I was not going to invest it in something like bitcoin, so adoption will take a while not only because of technological factors but generational factors will play a role as well.

It is a fact that very few people know about cryptocurrency but in the near future majority of the people from all over the world will come to know about cryptocurrency, especially when Facebook launch their own crypto and advertise it on their site more and more people will come to know about crypto. Then they will take interest and will put their money for earning more money.

In my community very little people know about cryptocurrency. They even don’t know the name of cryptocurrency. I myself try to talk to them about this digital currency and try to convince them for investment in crypto. Gradually they will understand this new currency and when they realize the importance of crypto they will put their money in it.

Indeed cryptocurrency is a great opportunity that we must learn to grow. Many people around the world are already aware about it but some are hesitant to become part of it. Knowing cryptocurrency is too risky and unregulated and too afraid to lost their investment.

There is no exact number of people who knows bitcoin, either to those people who  know it but do not engaged in it and those who know it and engaged themselves. We really don’t know how many.

When the real estate bubble crashed in the US a decade ago everyone was involved in it not only people in wall street but average people as well, it was not rare for people to try to flip houses and to this day there are many shows about flipping houses, so when the time comes in which bitcoin becomes very popular people from all social classes will talk about it.

It is true that there are lots of cryptocurrency out there. But most of them are fake and scam. Also there are few good cryptocurrency that have better idea and technology. Some people may not know about them . It will take some times to be acquainted in the public media.

I think 5-10% people know about cryptocurrency. My brother does not know about cryptocurrency, although I have told him many times about bitcoin and this campaign. Cryptocurrency is great and i always enjoy doing it. Many people believe it to be a scam and also convince others that it's a scam. I don't really blame them, they easily believe what they are told without doing the research themselves. The media on their own side is doing a great job spreading FUD about it. But the smart ones will always try to research and find out the information for themselves. But with time i believe all this FUD will faze out.

Those who are aware of the great Cryptocurrency are succeeding in this market while those who oppose it are those who have invested heavily and come back against crypto a lot, in addition there are also people without ant Cryptocurrency also prevents. It is a fact that still many people do not know about cryptocurrency and especially in remote areas of the world. It will take long time for them to know about this new currency. This doesn't have a perfect data, from the usage around the globe I believe around 25% of the people were aware about cryptocurrency. Among them around 5-10% continues using it, while the rest stays in fear as it is decentralized. How were you able to come up with those numbers? It's hard to tell just how much of the world is aware of and is actually into using crypto. Just in this forum, there's already a fair amount from various different countries who are aware and actively use crypto, but there's still many people who aren't in this forum to consider.

I don't think that only the people who have profited fully understand the concept of cryptocurrency. Actually, there are people who have profited but don't actually fully understand what bitcoin or cryptocurrency is. Some may have just bought btc back when there was a hype over it but do not comprehend the technology behind it. I know of some people, on the other hand, who know about it but didn't buy or haven't profited in any way. They know about the concept simply because they are interested in technical stuff.

According to me, it is impossible to count the number of people known to bitcoin. This number is really large and covers the whole world. So, the number of known bitcoins is increasing rapidly. except, some old people. I saw that in practice. People over 50 do not care much about the crypto world.

I cannot really know it but in my observation in my place and in some places that i've been to is like 60% of the people in the world knows what is cryptocurrency and some of the people in that 60% is not so sure about it but they barely knew it. People always need a proof before believing some people lack of information so they can't learn like these things.

By 2017 many people will recognize cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. Bitcoin prices soar and make some people weird what is bitcoin is? this is the factor that causes bitcoin to become popular. I'm sure, some people who live in developed countries almost 80% most people will know bitcoin, especially for countries that receive bitcoin as a payments tool.

But for developing countries, most of the people will not recognize bitcoin will even be indifferent when there is an education about bitcoin. In general, people living in developing countries will have a lack of technology understanding, they are still comfortable with circumstances that are not related to technological developments.

I don't know about 25% of people. I live in urban cities where people should know more about crypto than in urban areas. I live mostly and work with people who are highly technologically aware as well, but I wouldn't say 1 in 4 are aware of Bitcoin. Maybe 1 in 5 is closer. Because to me, simply hearing about Bitcoin is not being aware. It's like people hear about Jesus but they don't know what it is.

And if you go to rural areas, almost 100% don't know about it.

But anyway, this doesn't mean the numbers are not correct. All numbers are correct at different destinations and for different purposes. What is sure is that every new person who enters adulthood must by now hear about Bitcoin and more are encouraged to use it.

Being aware is being informed about it so you are right about just hearing about it is not awareness. I must say the percentage of people being aware of it I think is lower than what have been stated. Maybe some are just being silent about being aware of cryptocurrency but then so far, when it comes to my friends or acquaintances, maybe just 1% of them knew about it.

If one is working online then most likely they already encounter bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general. We are already in information age and most people knew how to use computer and internet so there is a high chance that they are aware of bitcoin. They may not be fully aware of it yet but one way or another, they may have heard of it.

Cryptocurrency is great but it’s not really all that unique. What I’m trying to say is that whatever Bitcoin does that there are ways you can do that without having to make use of Bitcoin.

The only thing about Bitcoin is that it is anonymous (according to some people, it is pseudo anonymous) and you also don’t need the help of anyone in putting transactions, you can do it all by yourself at your comfort and it is fast, though not the fastest, there are other methods with same rate of transaction speed.

Still, bitcoin must be a great invention. Probably you are missing out the very big thing of crypto world : decentralization. In my understanding, this decentralization alone making all the cryptos as a great invention and as per my knowledge no other things have arrived with decentralization before.

If OP is trying to innovate new methodologies for promoting bitcoin for making more people to know about it and its advantages then probably we are slowly moving in the direction. Only a small fragment of the world knows about cryptocurrency at the moment, I believe a lot of people will realize the potential of cryptocurrency in the near future

But gradually it exploring  to all you should know this. As it is new project by Satoshi Nakamato most of men can not understand this transferring system. So i think when every government will accepted this digital currency, everybody will be used to about this who are educated.

Cryptocurrency is very good but a lot of people find it difficult to accept it cause they are yet to understand it and know what it’s all about and how it works. And some people just don’t have time for it due to the nature of their business, or maybe they just don’t have the time for it because they are okay with their jobs  so they think no need. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I think it is possible for those who know cryptocurrency, almost 80% of the total people in the world already know cryptocurrency or digital currency, but there are still very few who know the benefits of having a digital currency such as bitcoin.

It could be better if the platform, uses bitcoin as payment. As you can see bitcoin is the leading cryptocurrency also at the same time sharing information and spreading it throughout social media is better if it uses bitcoin as the main cryptocurrency being advertise, don't just forget to educate new investors to what is blockchain and how does it works.  Crypto is an asset, information is the blockchain.

There are so many people who knows bitcoin. Including some of the famous people. But. Some of them dont intend to use it because cryptocurrencies for them are all scam and is just Because waste of money and a waste of time. Users will increase in the next few years when the price recovers again.

We know how really great bitcoin is today but those people who are in farflung areas don't have the chance to even know bitcoin and could not used it because they also need to have training and need to be technically knowledgeable in computer to do a transaction.

To be frank with you, if everybody knows about a business opportunity you're about jumping on, than you're already late into that business. Less than 2% of the world's population knows nothing about Crypto. (In my family of 7 I'm the only one.) But that will change soon because new start ups are taking the time to educate the general public, so are universities too.

You can educate those people who dont know crypto currencies and bitcoin through advertising tons of them, you can also do some affiliate and direct advertisement through some blogs or vlogs. You can use youtube platform because most people in the world uses it and also add those advertisement in google search through Adsense.

What are you saying mate according to me almost all over the world now people are well aware of it because it is getting popular day by day, so I am sure it will not take much time when bitcoin will be world famous, it has benefits which actually attracts people towards it, so I think all over the world almost 80% of people knows and uses bitcoin to get good profit.

Indeed, in fact there are still many of the community in each country doesn't know about in bitcoin and Cryptocurrency as well. then, if I am going to look at it only few are still knows about crypto either. For so many years that has been past, crypto currency helped a lot of communities here. And I am one of the those people were crypto's helped me  a lot.
Imagined, through crypto I could have a chance to have bitcoin without getting any capital in my pocket. This could only be done by simply joining in the bounty campaign were in the end they will pay me thru their token on my wallet using erc20 which Eth wallet address. Meaning, it doesn't matter of how many people knows it instead, it should spread out more all over the world either.

yes you really cryptocurrency is very good you must be able to buy and have a cryptocurrency to become a rich person in the future because the cryptocurrency price movements are very fast and can grow assets that you have so you have to be able to buy as much bitcoin as you can.

In our generation today, mant people are aware about cryptocurrencies but some of their don't trust it. Because they always think that it is a scam and will just hack all of our money but it's not. It is legit that we can make money in it. A big profit if we invest in some of the cryptocurrencies out there.

Theres no tool but we can somehow count them if we base on overall market cap of the crypto .  if we see a huge number like billions , then you can tell that there are now a lot of people who knows and recognize the use of cryptocurrencies .

We can also tell by the stats of the exchange or on the wallet .  some exchange sites shows their site statistice on how many users are trading on them .

A lot of people knows about cryptocurrency but most of them don't really understand this market. We cannot identify the exact number of true believers but we can notice that around us. Example here in my place, 4 out of 10 knows about this market and half of it are still not investing. This market is great, and this should be understand by everyone so they can enjoy the benefits of having this technology.

It's widening, people who knows what's the benefit of getitng and having crypto's are increasing. But we can't also stop the numbers of those people, institutions and countries who are spreading misinformation about it which makes the people don't want to learn more because they are being discouraged.

You can’t force people, I believe that the world already knows about Bitcoin and a lot of people talks about it, but not everyone is interested. It’s because there is no good job where I’m living so Bitcoin is my only way out and it’s really helping me out.

I don't have any single idea how profit is relevant to knowledge of people in any forms of coins in cryptocurrency. People shouldn't pursue that word and I am gonna tell ya that it might lead to a large misconception to the public that these existing cryptocurrency were meant to be just a profit holder because of investment, how about letting them know that cryptocurrency has their own purpose, right?  I bet ya that it would be just all about bounty or plainly investment on what will be their basic knowledge about cryptocurrency.

In my research, many countries know about bitcoin, but many do not believe in bitcoins, because most know about bitcoin scams, scams because they do not know how to do it or process it, they believe they are different man legit it. But those who know bitcoin are the only ones they talk to their friends or family.

Cryptocurrency is great, a lot of people knows about it but it is not meant for everyone.It has helped a lot of people, and also didn’t work out for some. You have to be someone that has been involved in investment to be able to know how Bitcoin works. Any money you save in a Bitcoin wallet, you’re likely to lose it or maybe win more money from it.

And some people don’t know that. I know someone who invested funded a bitcoin wallet without knowing that it is volatile, he thought it’s just like PayPal and the next day price went down, including the money in his wallet and he started saying that Bitcoin is a scam. Lol. So not everyone understands.

That's the problem the venue of potentials users needs to learned digital system, most of those older businessman will prefer to stay with there well known system, it's already mainstream but the adoptions are still holding back we needed to have  good and much well explained campaign to gather more end users, still a questions of potentials and how people who hear about this system will act and take there actions.

crypto is a great and great technology where its appearance around 10 years has been able to provide good value for digital assets. currently many people do not understand how and what crypto can help facilitate our activities

The point is not what percentage of the inhabitants of the Earth know the cryptorney market. The main thing is that they see in this positive side. Companies operating on the crypto-market can write good fact-finding material. But there are opponents of decentralization of cryptocurrencies and they write spread negative information. They have a negative opinion about crypto banking due to problems with transactions. They spread their negativity among other people.

I think a lot of people know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. But they are afraid to face technology and they think they are complicated. And they will not want cryptocurrency to replace cash, which they already know how to use every day.

More and more people know and invest in cryptocurrency but that number is still very small so I think in the future this number will increase dramatically when crypto is used more widely in life.

I agreed that crypto currency was a big help to me and to anyone in this business.  But sad to say that even its already been popular in the entire world still few people are know about this things. "Cryptocurrency is Great," I think a lot of people know about it but not everyone can understand the nature of cryptocurrency. When nature is well understood it will be wonderful in both figurative and literal meaning.

So basically its a social media where people with no knowledge about crypto's will learn about digital assets. This is a good idea but there are some problems. One is how will you convince people to join your site when there are tons of social media in the internet. two is what will the user reward they join the site, this is important to keep them motivated in using the site.

Some people only heard of it but do not really know what it is. Most people will try to understand crypto currency because they always hear that they can make money of it not because of the technology behind it.

Not that many. No matter how much we keep saying that more and more people are getting into cryptocurrency, it still doesn't compare to how many people are using their own local currencies and if we're being honest, it may never get to that point. If it does, it will take a long time before it happens. For one, those who are in countries where internet and computers are scarce needs to keep up, then learn about cryptocurrency, which isn't that easy to learn and understand.

I think it stayed not so many persons who would not hear about crypto, but only few of them really understand what it is and all advantages of cryptos.

No doubt that crypto currencies users are increasing from time to time, but I think that it will take a lot of time when all the people will become able to use bitcoin and other crypto currencies, because crypto currencies are still very young.

It seems to me that the biggest jump in the popularity of cryptocurrency happened at the end of last year when the price of bitcoin began to grow at a crazy speed. Then this news was discussed at every corner. Now they are also not less. On the contrary, cryptocurrencies and blockchains began to be actively discussed in social networks, on television, even movies and TV shows are not complete without mentioning bitcoin. A year ago, few people in my circle knew about crypto but now this number has grown significantly.

Yes, I agree with you, there are very fewer people who know about the cryptocurrency and its investments. But as per the time due to its growing popularity, many people have start to coming towards the cryptocurrency.

Definitely there are a lot of people who know about her, but mostly their knowledge is very short or even wrong. Everything is because of all of those scam projects and hacking which make bad imige for crypto currencies.

Cryptocurrency is really great, Almost everyone is knowing and having the knowledge about this.
Some of the people is not having the idea about this they are intelligent in some other field.

Cryptocurrency is great, but I doubt that more than a fraction of the global population knows this, and an even smaller fraction understands why.
So many factors influence the minds of those not intimately acquainted with encryption, finance, and the underpinning principles of cryptocurrency that those same minds can be swayed by media/government propaganda, the negative opinions of others, and bad press.

making someone believe in something that is related to the value of money is very risky and sometimes very quickly spread, cryptocurrency provides benefits to users and is more effective and efficient, now all we need to convey is benefits and benefits, there will be more new users who will learn if things it is useful

Naturally, cryptocurrency is great but not all cryptos are that great. So many people already know about it but not all people believe in it. Only those who believe can tell the  greatness of crypto and how their lives had changed because of it.

this will vary from country to country. Developed countries are more aware of this so 50–60% people know about it.
In China for example this is a burning topic recently so 25–30 % are aware of Bitcoin and crypto-currency but countries like india where it's in embryo stage it is around 5–7%.

but today there are at least 15 million people using crypto. so that would be about 0.2% of world population.

Great in what exactly?
We experienced this for the last one year and a half; as a conclusion, no one would need a cryptocurrency for small trades and purchasing whatever the service offered. Cryptocurrencies aim to cut off with traditional finance but this may let some big issues occurs more than solving some others. It's almost difficult for regular users to take responsabilities for their own wallets.
Expect for those using cryptocurrencies for trade, the rest (majority) won't see how great it is.

what you say is all true, cryptocurrency is indeed very great and many people who have used bitcoin and cryptocurrency that they have used it as their main job, like what you say.
but why does all this make the price of bitcoin and altcoin decrease?
if we think that many don't buy and use bitcoin and altcoin that makes the price increase, but why does this price drop?

most people don't really know the blockchain system

so far there are many assumptions as a means of investment on a long scale, it is important to know there are still many companies that really use the blockchain system in their company even though there are many who use it for a purpose to gain profits regardless of the maintenance aspects of their own company. understand which projects are right to build or just want profit.

Most of the people know that already but due of the present situation of market nowadays majority are losing interest in it.

I think a lot of people at least heard something about Bitcoin somewhere on the news, as now Crypto is too big of a thing for social media to ignore.
However, the number of people actively involved in Crypto-related things is significantly lower. Crypto is still an unknown land, people are too afraid to enter it - or just too lazy to learn new stuff.

Most of the time those people who never knew the real usage of crypto have a negative impressions about this new system, they still see that this is just another form of scam or ponzi without realizing the good usage that the system offers, it's still in need to have more informational drive for this chain in
order to attract more adoptions and more establishment and businesses to start using this crypto currency.

Of course, most of the population know about crypto.. but very few are in, and even less understand and believe.

Cryptocurrency is great but it wasn’t meant for everyone. I know a lot of us here who loves tech would say it means a lot, but for majority of the people out there, it doesn’t matter. Most of the people wants to play it safe and slow by making use of banking which is different from Blockchain. I’ve been hearing that BitcoinBlockchain might not be the thing in future, heard there are other similar Blockchains which people are yet to discover, and when they do, it won’t be good for Bitcoins Blockchain.

Cryptocurrencies is a great,  no doubt but depending on the level of information that one has about it will determine how good it's able to change one's life either positively or negatively.  This is because not everyone who is involved in cryptocurrencies will be great despite how good the market is.

crypto currency is awesome but many people without knowledge listen to some news (as bad news spreads fast  ;D) and they think negative about crypto without investigating , but good news about crypto don't spread to those people 

Many people hear about electromagnetic money but do not know much about them. They only hear the Ponzi fraudsters, multi-level talk about super-profits and do not really know the nature of the crypto. In my country a lot of people were cheated in such a way.

It is great but not great for everyone. Just like the saying goes: another man’s meat is another’s poison. It might be great for you but will not be for others. I made a lot of profit from Bitcoin and it also changed my life in a big way, but some of my friends who started it with are no longer into it, because it didn’t work out the same way for them. So not everyone is going to be lucky the whole time.

Lol, funny comment. Without failure you won’t know success. This is not the first time we are seeing things like this. Even as you’re complaining about all this, there are people who don’t even care and are still doing what they are doing and even progressing more than you expect.

It just doesn’t work for everyone, that’s it. Even as the price is falling, some traders are complaining, but there are traders who knows what to do to make profit
