Bitcoin actually doesn't require approval to be used anywhere. You can use it as long as you have internet connection and a device.

Countries "approving" bitcoin just makes it actually legal to use and accept for merchants.            correct me if I'm wrong

It doesnt really need any approval or be legalized for people from a specific country be able to use bitcoin and even a country banned the use of it people can still use it but the problem is people cant trade it for local currency or use it for payment. After an approval from a country of course people can freely use bitcoin locally and exchange it for fiat without worrying that you are doing an illegal activity.

But not necessarily, some countries don't consider bitcoin as "legal" (or illegal). Yet, merchants are accepting it as a payment methods. In my opinion, the only benefit I can see from making bitcoin legal is earning peoples trust because people have this idea that bitcoin is used for bad things only (darknet) or that they will lose their money (mt.gox) etc. but after legalization, they'll know they are protected.

Germany for example don't allow setting up ATMs, so this news (If true) could be a step towards allowing them. Either way, you can technically continue to use bitcoin regardless of the laws because of its P2P/decentralized nature.

Bitcoin turns out to be a so called brand of fiat or commonly a cryptocurrency,  which we are all aware off. Its only downfall is that they are privatise which is somehow a good thing for us but not with some government, and that is where country are looking forward for approval with bitcoin. It is all about the vontrol of the said country towards bitcoin that is commonly became its very own issue.

You nailed it! Bitcoin doesn't require approval from every country. They are just have their own point of view about it and they have warnings with their citizens because it is not regulated. Maybe Germany's recent approval of Bitcoin o ky means that they can see it as safe to invest.

Countries will slowly accept bitcoin. Most countries have realized that the demand for electronic money is increasing and acceptance of bitcoin in some countries will lead to more countries accept  bitcoin as it is a new development trend. We can not deny that bitcoin is growing good

Calling bitcoin electronic money is the same as calling amazon a website. While it is not wrong, it is by far not the best description.

Electronic money is already everywhere. Just a fraction is being paid cash. Salarys, taxes, rent, ... are mostly paid electronically.

Being digital is not the fact which leads to increased demand of bitcoin. It is the trustless decentralized nature without any authority being able to create/steal/control the money.
Dollar bills and credit cards do both represent the same currency, with one being digital.

approval is good to spread quickly to everyone for acceptance. It's government process. Your curious is not bad but Blockchain technology doesn't stop for anything. Nowadays we know most of the companies like it. However, approval help to get your crypto profit by an easy process like as your bank account or others.

Legality is very necessary because it will help the development of bitcoin in the country. When bitcoin can be received in a country then bitcoin can thrive very well, the growth of a place that receives payments via bitcoin will increase. So this will have an impact on the overall regulations that exist in a country. Even when there is a country that receives bitcoin it will have a very good impact on the increase of bitcoin prices.

it is not required it is encouraged!

the thing is at the end of the day bitcoin is still the only decentralized currency that you can find and whether government or any other individual or groups of people approve it or not we will continue using it and majority of the world will do it with us.
so if the government of one country adopts bitcoin NOW they will be ahead of the curve for the next 30 to 50 years. and if they don't they will fall behind drastically.

Cryptocurrencies in fact do not really need a state confirmation, it's easier to use it when it legalized, and if the country tries to block it, its using becomes more difficult.

Bitcoin requires the approval of a country because it allows bitcoin to be used in the country as a payment system, or as a substitute asset. If the country does not allow bitcoin, then bitcoin can not be used at all in that country.

Approval of government for Bitcoin to be legal is of course required because cryptocurrency like Bitcoin are being traded for fiat or local currency whenever a trader or investor wants to take his/her profit and anything that will relate or connected to money, the government will always there to protect their currency and to avoid it from being used for fraudulent activities. But approval is not really needed for people to use Bitcoin, for the reason that Bitcoin works without anyone controlling it or simply it is decentralized, so if a government wants to ban it, people can still use it but will limit the uses of it on that country depending on what kind of ban did that country implemented.

Well, true. Since bitcoin isn't "illegal"(but not formally "legalized"), merchants can accept it as a payment method. But wouldn't the government sort of "pursue"(for a lack of a better word) the merchants that used BTC if ever BTC were to be banned someday in the future?

Basically, if bitcoin is approved in a particular country it just means that is legally accepted and in no doubt the people in a particular country is free to use bitcoin as payment of any merchandise and services. Bitcoin does not necessarily requires approval but it somehow gives a good impact in the market, knowing it is in accordance of the law.

Title: Re: Why bitcoin requires approval from countries ?

It doesn't necessarily require approval. It just needs to not be banned, and even then everyone who wants to use it still can. It's really a matter of adoption.

The goal, in my eyes, is for Bitcoin to be accepted as a currency worldwide. Mass adoption is required for that, and mass adoption would be far easier to attain if Bitcoin were completely legal. Not having regulations at all is also nice, but that also means a ban could come at any time, so the general public would be more wary than if it were legal. The mainstream would also be likelier to accept it if their respective countries do the same.

Bans can't really stop Bitcoin, but they can stop adoption, which is probably just as bad. It's simply much better if everyone who wants to get involved can do so without any legal repercussions.

Bitcoin can be always used without approval of the governments. It's decentralized and no authority control it.
But, approval from f the governments is needs to have a more healthy market. It is also needed for being used as an official payment system.

It's just simple you can't use it if it's not allowed. Remember that a country is being controlled by the government so in order for bitcoin to be use it has to be accepted. Acknowledgement is very important so that bitcoin can have its value. Approval is a luxury that bitcoin wants to attain.

It is well known to all that bitcoin is a decentralized, digital crypto currency which is based on modern technology. If no country approve bitcoin, Bitcoin can be used all over the world. Because it does not need any approval from any country to use. If you have a computer or any device and internet connection then you can use it. But approval is required from the country because of the general people who will feel free to use it. Without approval they may not trust it. It also needed to make it popular. And tax can be implemented by approving by the country.

As we all know that Bitcoin is based on blockchain technology which relies on the principle of decentralization that means any centralised authority cannot control or regulate it. However, when you are doing something on a commercial level you have to apply for the legal permission of the government to carry any business activity like running an exchange where the sum of money in terms of Fiat currency is being used. You can still use Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency on an individual level as far as you are not doing anything illegal but when it comes to the business, you have to follow the certain guidelines and inform your financial details to the government.

A legal status would make it easier for everyone to use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, it will also eliminate the volume of users involved in the parallel economy.

Governments realized now that bitcoin has a capacity to do transactions with less fees. It is also anonymous that is why they are alarmed that this may be use for unusual things. I also agree that they tend to add some tax if they will legalize bitcoin in different countries. Though, there is a little hope in me that somehow they will lessen the tax to the crypto users and crypto traders.

I also believe that the approval of bitcoin in one's country makes bitcoin legal. Thus, many will patronize the bitcoin as a another form of currency with confidence that the government is not against with bitcoin but is in support on it. The approval can be the first step to create rules and regulations regarding bitcoin to earn more reliance/confidence and entice new batch of investor to enter in the world of crypto.

Well bitcoin may not be required for approval but it entails a lot of implications to it. If a country accepts the utlization and legalization of bitcoin, investors would consider investing on the said cryptocurrency, thus increasing its price on the market. Just to give you an example, when China announced that they will be prohibiting the creation of ICOs due to a number of abusers and scammers, the price of a bitcoin significantly dropped. Another example, when Japan mentioned in the media that they will be supporting bitcoin and its platforms as a form of alternative payment/currency, the price slowly regained its value.

I think it's not very important, approved or not, in fact people can still use bitcoin in their lives. Although bitcoin is strictly prohibited, we can still use bitcoin in cyberspace.

I disagree. With the recent approval of countries of the utlization of bitcoin, it definitely has an impact regarding its price on the market- which attract new investors and retain old ones.

Crypto currency, as the name implies, claims the role of money in the state where it is used. Any state has the right on its territory to determine what kinds of money can go in the country and establish the conditions for their circulation. So, the state can recognize in the adopted law or another by-law any currency of any state is illegal and establish responsibility for violation of such prohibition, even criminal. So, the US president Trump recently issued a decree prohibiting citizens from using the Venezuelan cryptsplit of El Petro.
Before the legalization or prohibition of circulation of crypto currency, citizens can use it, however, in the event of various legal issues, it will be very difficult to prove anything in court precisely because the issue of its circulation in the country is not regulated at the legislative level. The process of legalization of the crypto currency, that is, the determination of its status, the conditions of circulation and, in most cases, the introduction of taxation, is called the process of legalization of the crypto currency. Such a process is necessary in any country for the further development of the crypto currency.

Nothing is required to be approved other than Bitcoin functioning as currency and proving such. As to what happens after approval, we will see in the coming days here whether this sparks a bullish fever or we keep the status quo. One thing is likely to be true though and that is one country claiming Bitcoin as legal tender won't make the difference. If the G7 nations came out today and said they would all make Bitcoin legal tender, well then damn I would snap up as much Bitcoin as my bank account could buy because you know it would likely moon after that announcement.

Questionable assets needs government to intervene I guess, that's why  bitcoin needs approval from the government, the problem with that the essence of decentralization has been stake, good thing is the actual system can go further without any changes, we do need to exchange our crypto to fiat so that's where the government will be concerned and will place every rules that will give them authority to question each profits or actual money that their people are gaining upon using this chain.

Approving bitcoin is the way of governments on accepting it to their countries so if they do not approve implementing bitcoin to their country then people especially those investors are does not have the right to use it in their business and transaction because it is not yet legalized to their country and the worse is they would consider it a great sin or a violation of their law.

yes it is. Aside from that ir cannot be also used locally when there is no proper approval to it, and the worst case is that you will be considered as illegal, aside also from the risks and for being decentralized. personally i don't really think that it needs approval since it is decentralized, from that point further reasons will only be owed by the government i guess.

Approval is necessary to make that particular thing legal in the country as before approval bitcoin was in grey area of Germany and that was uncertain that either government would make cryptocurrencies legal or not so investing was actually risky, but when country legalize the cryptocurrency so they can work freely in the cryptocurrency market and no one can do harm to you if you do your trades in a legal way.

Yes it is decentralized and you can use it in any country whenever there is an internet connection. But its better to be recognized by the said country and being supported. This is also for the benefit of the people to curb fraud and illegalities surrounding it. Governemnt is only on the regulation side.

The absence of a central regulator and rules of the game led to increased risks and the rapid shrinkage of cryptoanarchist ideas. Owners of electronic money began to understand: we need rules of the game. Governments must deal with this task. That is why bitcoin needs not so much to be recognize and approved, as to be determined and define its status in certain countries.

I don't think that bitcoin requires approval. Because you can use bitcoin anywhere as long as you know how to used bitcoin. I think the reason for the approval is for the legalization of the country for it is to be accepted because until now some of the country is not allowing bitcoin maybe because they do not believe on bitcoin for they cannot see their future in bitcoin they also think that bitcoin is not real and they are telling that they will not earn from bitcoin for it is not true. Bitcoin is real and it is a digital money that you can invest and earn big. You just have to learn and study the bitcoin for you to earn big. Their is a future in bitcoin. Some country do not believe is maybe they believe only to the money that govern by the bank. Some others are hearing many negatives about the bitcoin that is why they do not believe on bitcoin.

There will be no third party between them means you are transacting  currency but do not pay taxes for it which you have to do with fiat money. For this reason some countries think that it needs approval from their government.

Approval is not required, bitcoin does not violate the law since it is just a piece of software that performs a function, that is not illegal, governments are creating those regulations to try to create a framework to work with cryptocurrencies after all there is nothing in the market similar to cryptocurrencies but at the same time it is a way to make it seem as if they have everything under control even if that is not the case.

Bitcoin does not need approval for you to use it. Why do other countries need their approval?

KYC (Know your customer) is called the approval why KYC needs to prevent the AML between the exchanger. Since Bitcoin is a decentralized and governments need control of the exchanger that they can handle to know the transaction. Bitcoin is capable of releasing and entering money abroad that does not pass through the banks so local exchanger is asking for the requirements to use or exchange bitcoin to fiat money.

Bitcoin does not require approval from countries in order to work. Bitcoin is decentralised and can't be blocked thus anyone can use it wherever possible. It would be wise to use VPN in order to hide your IP while broadcasting transaction. Approval is needed to attract more investors. They don't want Bitcoin to be banned, they would lose money.

If you use bitcoin only personally, for yourself, I don't think that you need any official approval from your country, government etc.
Just buy bitcoin and enjoy profit.
Nobody can control you.
When you need some funds, exchange to fiat and withdraw.
If you wants to start some business with bitcoin, than it's completely different matter.
For business you have to follow all laws and regulation and pay taxes.

With Bitcoin accepted means the governments showing support to Bitcoin no matter the amount and it can stimulate the market, which means this s a fresh air for investors. Rejection also has an impact, the price can fall immediately if the country of where the investors live or the facilities used by the investors suddenly reject Bitcoin. Many countries haven’t decided yet, they’re still in the gray zone or reject based on the Law that prohibit it, but it’s still gray in my opinion because it doesn’t discuss in detail about the prohibition against Bitcoin.
Its because bitcoin is not regulated. For bitcoin to operate on such a country, it needs approval. There are several countries that approves bitcoin, like japan. We see that japan is a rich country, and a open minded countrymen. They see bitcoin as a help for their country economy, and because of that, their country is becoming more richer and advance in technology. If other country see its good side like japan did, i think that the other countries will be successful too.

approval and acknowledgment of the government will be very important in developing Bitcoin and if it is true that the government supports the circulation of bitcoin then it will greatly provide a positive value for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It must be admitted that crypto must get support from the government because it can make more people use crypto, especially in the future when the era of technology is getting more sophisticated.

Countries' approval are not for the accessing of bitcoin. It is for the legalization of using bitcoin in their places. We doesn't need their approval by entering the bitcoin because it is accessible by all. Also, as long as you have an internet, gadget, and an account in here ypu can use it whenever and wherever you want. Permission from countries only makes bitcoin's usage legal.

Cryptocurrencies particularly bitcoin doesn’t need an approval as far as i know though there are some countries that recognized cryptocurrencies by the government and to let all the countrymen know the cryptos are existed jist like spreading the news to all. But with or without the approval by the government, bitcoin can be invested as long as the government of such country didn’t banned or made it illegal.

I think approval means accepting the digital currency to be used in one country. It needs the approval to make sure that it works legally on one country and users can used it comfortably without hesitations that the government think to have illegal transactions why earning a big amount and used different currency which is unknown in the market.

States do not approve bitcoin, but legalize it, that is, make it legal. This includes determining the legal status of bitcoin, the conditions for its circulation within the country and the establishment of taxation. It is necessary that certain state bodies, including courts, tax authorities, banks and other institutions and organizations that use bitcoin in their activities, can act not at their own risk and risk, but in accordance with laws and other by-laws.

This is necessary because the Crypto-currency with its decentralized system allows you to get rid of the dictates of government rules and restrictions. although in fact, bitcoin was created not for the purpose of competition, but for the purpose of improvement. but the government prefers to limit the use of crypto-currency from a lack of understanding of the subtleties of the technical process, and in some countries it is generally prohibited.

In my opinion, the countries ( governments ) are who control the financial of transaction through the FIAT ( like, Euro, Dollars, Yen..), Unfortunately, there is always a large value of taxes  and  this is certainly an exploitation of users, that's why many people choose Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, because that era has many characteristics, and due the governments cannot control the transaction of digital currencies and they cannot even benefit from them, so their only way for them is the non-recognition  of crytocurrencies through collective ban by the social media ( Facebook, Twitter .. ) and their bad attempts in order to destroy Bitcoin.
Plus, I expect that in the near there will be a total recognition of Bitcoin  as a legal currency in the majority of countries, and what that will be achieved , then it is sure that the era of cryptocurrency will develop in a good way.

Bitcoin needs the legitimacy of nations to bring the unification of electronic money
Most countries have realized that increasing demand for electronic money and acceptance of bitcoin in some countries will lead to more countries adopting bitcoin as it is a new development trend. There are some countries are strict when it come to new technology that they are not really familliar with. the government of a certain country can still set a rule or a law because they do still control their country. other reason is that they are anti bitcoin because they cant totally put a tax or any other charges thru it.  they are arfaid because if more people can recognized bitcoin , sooner or later all people will now use it and the fiat will be totally forgotten . which means they cannot earn an incentives no more.

Bitcoin relatively puts a new spin on existing technology.
The blockchain is simple, yet so complex. It works!
Most Countries rely on their current means of laws, and policies in order to function successfully.
What Blockchain did was disrupt the financial sector, so much so, that it has opened up people's eyes to the benefits the blockchain is capable of.
The safest measure for a country to approach the use of Bitcoin, would be to approach it with caution, maybe even suffocate it enough to control it from spreading, until they can come up with a good solution that almost appeases everyone.
Think of the Y2K bug everyone was so worked up about. It was supposedly a real disruptor to all things digital, like stored records, money, data, etc.
Bitcoin approvals should mean good news. It means it has survived the scrutiny of critics, possibly gaining favor in their eye. If parliament is considering leniency towards crypto use, is this not a good thing? Maybe...

Approving does not actually states that they are accepting Bitcoin as a legal tender (unless otherwise, of course). Approval is basically recognizing something and not legally as a whole. I've seen some countries approving Bitcoin but they always warn people about them. So the acceptance falls in the matter of choice. Approval might have been a vague term, perhaps they should use "partially accepting". ::)

Although "some countries don't consider bitcoin as "legal" (or illegal)," this enables law enforcement agencies of these countries to take everything related to crypto using force and get away with it just because this stuff is not regulated and, as such, these actions might not be considered as "illegal." They justify it to the media by "combating and preventing world terrorism" and "keeping their citizens safe."

Besides, every resident, in most countries I believe, MUST pay taxes on every kind of income they earn. Do you believe the gov-t is happy to lose its chance to get some additional "contributions" (taxes, fines, penalties, etc.) to the budget? I don't think so.  8)

So in that case when its legally approved in a country it can be used as without restriction within that country.

Completely false, this is the problem with people they need government approval for everything, just look at all the warnings that a plastic bag contains as if that will somehow stop all of those people that are dumb enough to put it in their heads, 99% of the population does not need those warnings and we do not need approval from the government to use bitcoin since we know why we decided to adopt it.

Countries approve bitcoin or crypto currency in general to be legalized in their country and they want also to regulate the usage of it to ensure that their citizen who invest may not put risk on their investment. that is why most countries require KYC to ensure that bitcoin or crypto coins will not be used  for money laundering and other illegal business.

Every country is trying to see if there is any economic damage to be done to their economy when they approve cryptocurrency in their  various countries. If after consultation and there is no real harm to be done to their national economy that country will approve the use of crypto in the space. Bitcoin will now experience wider usage in Germany.

Yep, they are all feeling fear about their own economy. All the countries want to claim their bitcoin and crypto world, but they don't know how to do it to get some profit from it. So they are doing that very carefully.

Here Approval in the context of the countries means their acceptance for the bitcoin and giving a part to the same in their national economy. They may be talking about legalizing the digital market so that the residents of the country can use the same, hold the coins, invest and trade, etc. openly with fewer restrictions. Also it may mean imposition of rules and regulations because of the creation of a rational and controlled market. It may further imply imposition a taxation regime for the crypto market, so that bitcoin income of the people does not escape from the government purview.

I think government officials of some country knows that it can help their economy, but because some of them are owner or having an investments using fiat money, i think that they scared because bitcoin is threat to their fiat investments, so that they wont approved using of crypto in their country. The most promising country in terms of using bitcoin is japan, because their government see bitcoin as a help to their country economy, and as what we can see, their country are becoming more richer.

That is not the reason, governments are not doing this to protect the general public and their money, that is what they want you to believe, they are doing this so they can slow down and if possible to stop the adoption of cryptocurrencies, if it reaches a particular level people will be able to store their wealth in a place they cannot reach, something they do not want especially when a new economic crisis appears and they have no option but to tax your wealth.

It is necessary in any state to officially fix its legal status in any normative legal acts, to determine the basic conditions and rules for its circulation in the country, and also to determine with taxation. Without this, the state bodies, courts and other institutions will not know how to treat it.

Hi there BTC.Turtle! The approval is not actually, an approval to use bitcoin in that country. It is an acknowledgment that there are people in that country that could use, mine, trade bitcoins. If you have heard about sanction, that is the opposite of that. The government could issue a sanction to a specific item product it could even be a flower or toothpick. That sanction is a ban in order to protect their citizens from untorrow incident or bad situation. The government of Germany, sees that bitcoin could use a form of currency which then be used as a payment for a product or service.

Like Germany, they approved Bitcoin, it simply means that Germans can use Bitcoins in every transactions such as purchasing and as payment without the hesitation that bitcoin will be banned since their country approved Bitcoin. Bitcoin actually doesn't require approval to be used anywhere. You can use it as long as you have internet connection and a device.

Countries "approving" bitcoin just makes it actually legal to use and accept for merchants.            correct me if I'm wrong

Because they want to know and secure if bitcoin is Legal. For me all countries needs this kind of restriction especially for this kind of Altcoin or Payment method where sure money is involved

Bitcoin actually does not require approval of any country. The 'approval' means that Bitcoin is legal in that country so that people know that they can freely use it. Those approvals exist because some countries make Bitcoin illegal so countries that have nothing against it announce that they approve Bitcoin as a currency.

Well technically,  bitcoin do not need approval for the countries' government. It is just that,  if they stated that they have approved bitcoin,  it just means that, the specific country have accepted bitcoin and acknowledge it as a legitimate cryptocurrency. What does it can do for bitcoin?  Well,  acknowledging bitcoin is like an advertisement of bitcoin to that country.  It they accept bitcoin or approve it,  it open doors for opportunities.

To be honest, I think it is best if Bitcoin is approved by the government, but it is not a necessity. There are countries that doesn't have clear status on Bitcoin if illegal or legal but then a lot of their people are using it and into it. It is something that adds trust and confidence of people that Bitcoin is something that they can do especially since it involves money and investments. And for those who ban it in their countries, they should know the reasons why their government did it, so at least they will understand why they need to follow such law or regulations.

The legality of Bitcoin varies from country to country and I don't think that Bitcoin will be totally banned .Bitcoin is said to be illegal in countries where technology is not developed much .Majority of the countries do not ban Bitcoin transaction and has legally approved. Since Bitcoin transaction is done without a third party or government the consumers are scared because of scams also.

Well it's not really a must to get approval from the country, since even without the approval bitcoin still can operates.
But good things will happen better if the country support and accept bitcoin, at least they may do some things that will give benefit to bitcoin, introducing bitcoin to more people and get it more well known.
We can also access bitcoin freely and even enchance the probability for us to have many places to use our bitcoin to transact, and others.
And it will also remove the bad impression of bitcoin being illegal, bad and others if the government choose to accept and support it.

When a country is not accepting bitcoin you can trade it online but you can't exchange it with the country fiat currency so automatically it become useless to the owner.

Bitcoin is still experiencing many fluctuations in the market. Although its potential is huge, this steady decline in prices can make it very difficult to find the source of investment and the opportunity to be seen as a currency. Therefore, Bitcoin's request for government approval is an important decision in its search for stability and sustainable development.

Well, I wouldn't say it "requires" approval. You can use it whenever and however you want, but to turn it into fiat and use it further like, say, depositing it to the bank you will have to explain where the money comes from because it might imply that you are engaged in terrorism and other illegal stuff. So, unless it is officially approved, its use is very limited and if you want to use all the benefits it offers you are interested in its approval.

The reason why bitcoin requires appoval from some other countries because they're using a totally different security, unlike banks, mostly transaction will undergo verification process because it is a requirement from Federal Law, however bitcoin doesn't follow that. Countries "approving" bitcoin just makes it actually legal to use and accept for merchants.            correct me if I'm wrong

I agree I believe that this does not affect how bitcoin is used but will contribute mostly to adoption. The more people know bitcoin the more fame it has better market it will be.

But companies that want to operate businesses around crypto want to be able to setup knowing that they’re not going to suddenly find themselves on the wrong side of a regulation. So by lobbying jurisdictional clarification (or approval for certain usages), it allows businesses to be able to operate.

Actually Bitcoin does not need anyone’s approval to run or be used. Anyone can use it since it is decentralized irrespective of the fact that whether any country approves it or not. The approval here means that a country is making it legal to be used by the people of that particular country. This will increase the confidence of the investors in the Bitcoin and the adoption of Bitcoin will increase. Moreover another interesting fact is that cryptocurrencies is that govts. just cannot intervene in it no matter what they will do they cannot stop the working nodes of the Btc Core.

Any trade is susceptible to approval in any country such as canabis, alcohol are banned in some country, cryptocurrency can as well be banned is some country. If cryptocurrency is approved in a system it means any organization that wants to venture into it are permitted under the regulation to be released by the government.

For me personally, all the government's want to have part of our money in their pockets. The reason why they block and ban Bitcoin in the countries.

Yes of course because new systems should need an approval specifically the government. The government will check on always that will seemingly benefit the constituents then gladly cryptocurrency will be accepted however it will be subject for rules and regulations. This is why most of the countries who join cryptocurrency are already regulating cryptocurrency.

4- To counter the misuse of power that the banks have over Fiat

People can moan all they want but without the consent of the bigger economies and most countries it's very unlikely that Bitcoin will be able to penetrate the main market.Bitcoin is trying to break into a market which has been here for centuries with very few that were able to counter it's dominience and Bitcoin has a long way to go.

Bitcoin actually doesn't require approval to be used anywhere. You can use it as long as you have internet connection and a device.

Countries "approving" bitcoin just makes it actually legal to use and accept for merchants.            correct me if I'm wrong

I think that's just the half of the truth. Merchants and traders need a stable currency and crypto isn't stable so the can't use it. What is the point if you buy an apple for 1BTC and tomorrow sell it for 0.5BTC etc. (these are some seriously expensive apples that I'm talking about here  ;D)? If a country legalizes crypto then more people will accept it as a payment method and use it and the prices will then stabilize. Something like that.

Bitcoin should have legally complied with the regulations of the government in order for them to accept using Bitcoin. Just like what just happen in the dark web wherein Bitcoin have first known. I think the government has their point on why they worry on Bitcoin's anonymity features. Government approval is not really required. But the approval signify a lot of things that will prove to be beneficial to the growth of Bitcoin and to the assurance of the users that the mode of payment they are using is deemed legal in the country where they are. There is a big difference between using something that is allowed simply because there is no particular law prohibiting it and using something that is officially recognized or acknowledged by the state.

In general it requires approval in such sense that there is needed to have regulations regarding taxations and this only works when you use it to buy goods and pay for services when your BTC /ALTS are changed to FIAT otherwise is hard to use it.

Bitcoin actually doesn't require approval to be used anywhere. You can use it as long as you have internet connection and a device.

Countries "approving" bitcoin just makes it actually legal to use and accept for merchants.            correct me if I'm wrong

Yes you are totally right, i think the exactly same. The goverments don't want to miss taxes about cryptocurrencies anymore. Everyone is using bitcoin nowadays and the number is going high everyday. I think in near future all the goverments will accept crypto moneys and will have the taxes. It will be the way i guess..

The legality of bitcoin is very much the governmental way to make money of cryptocurrency. Its a legal, go signal for businesses to adopt crypto while at the same time some of this share will go to governments via the tax system.

Bitcoin needs a strong investment to become more stable and attract more users, making it more popular. Bitcoin therefore requires approval from the states. This is an important step for Bitcoin so that it can thrive in the future and realize its full potential.

People can still use it. After an approval from a country, of course people are free to use bitcoin locally and exchange it for fiat without worrying that you are doing an illegal activity. Its only downfall is that they are privatized, somehow good for us but not for some governments, and that is where the country is expecting to be approved with bitcoin.

I agree. In order for BTC to take the next step and reach some insane heights it needs more people investing in it. That will happen when it gets some kind of approval from governments.

Some countries don't consider bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as legal. Yet, so many people who used it already. However, we have to consider the regulations for digital currencies addressing licensing and enforcement provisions applicable to money transmitters and currency exchanges.

Approved or legalizization the use of bitcoin makes businesses, enterprises or companies accept bitcoin as a form of payment but still, declaring and banning bitcoin would be difficult for trading purposes.

now the crypto market is quite dangerous! because it is very easy for people here to lose their money, invest in math projects or lose on the stock exchange! The crypto market is very young, and until the end it is not clear what to do with it and what are the consequences! but I am sure that soon all countries will follow Germany, South America, Canada, Australia ..... Major investors and large projects need support and security from the state!

Bitcoin become legal only if government accepted that particular virtual currency.there are countries accepting Bitcoins legal and can be paid as mode of transactions like banks. In countries like India bitcoins are not legal and in USA it is legal.
The other reason is people around the world are interested in virtual currencies and day by day it has been rocketed up in this digital world. So due to vast usage of people some governments are approving parliament bills to make it legal .

Bitcoin works only on the Internet. Therefore, all operations are performed on the Internet. besides this bitcoin, is a decentralized currency, so that no one regulates or controls the institution. We all have to take advantage of this opportunity since bitcoin price is slow. Buy down now bitcoin because bitcoin will hit what we never imagined.  Price can not be guaranteed but I know for sure that things will change soon. Massive gain await those that buy down now.

Actually, the bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency which has no regulations and no control over it and because of this any country or region can allow them or block them as per they wish so that their citizens might not get into any kind of scam. So the approval is important because the country's government supports the decentralized currency and by which the traders gets support and safety from the government by the approval and so the bitcoin's approval is adding security and safety to the traders.

Actually bitcoin does not require any jurisdictional and geographical approval before it can function. When countries banned bitcoin is a matter of it legalization within such country but ideally an individual can use to trade their national currency. So in that case when its legally approved in a country it can be used as without restriction within that country.

At the point when nations restricted bitcoin involves it sanctioning inside such nation however in a perfect world an individual can use to exchange their national money. So all things considered when its lawfully affirmed in a nation it can be utilized as without limitation inside that nation.

And also if it was approved by the government more and more people will.loved to engage in using bitcoin and it may seems to be an addition to bitcoin's popularity.

The legal status of bitcoin varies substantially from country to country and is still undefined or changing in many of them.Whereas the majority of countries do not make the usage of bitcoin itself illegal, its status as money (or a commodity) varies, with differing regulatory implications. While some countries have explicitly allowed its use and trade, others have banned or restricted it. Likewise, various government agencies, departments, and courts have classified bitcoins differently. While this article provides the legal status of bitcoin, regulations and bans that apply to this cryptocurrency likely extend to similar systems as well.

It is not that it needs approval, but it puts Bitcoin in a better light if it is approved by a country like Germany. Even if it wasn't officially approved people would still be able to use it or trade it. Many countries try to regulate the use for taxes and to prevent illegal transactions (though illegal transactions could be made in any currency in the end, so my guess is mainly taxes).

I mean its normal to think that it really requires approval because of its high value. If its value is that high, then we must at least place something that might control its value or like approving the use of it. We know that it is from the internet and some countries are scared to be overthrown in their wealth. We know Bitcoin's value is still being developed even though it reached a milestone last year. Some countries are banning it and some countries are happy on the use of it.

Actually Bitcoin does not need anyone’s approval to run or be used. Anyone can use it since it is decentralized irrespective of the fact that whether any country approves it or not. The approval here means that a country is making it legal to be used by the people of that particular country.but in the end still bitcoin needs the approval of the government for it to last since we all need the favor of our government, at the end of the day if it has an effect already in the economy the government has the right to decide.

Government or country's approval play a role in increasing the usage of the bitcoin. Approval of them helps to promote and advertise the cryptocurrency such as bitcoin. In reality, bitcoin doesn't need any approval to all. You can use it anywhere and anywhen. As long as you have an internet connection and a device you can access bitcoin smoothly. People's approval only means that it is a good choice to be involve in bitcoin and use it as long as you desire.

It doesnt truly require any endorsement or be sanctioned for individuals from a particular nation have the capacity to utilize bitcoin and even a nation restricted its utilization individuals can at present utilize it yet the issue is individuals cannot exchange it for nearby money or utilize it for installment. After an endorsement from a nation obviously individuals can openly utilize bitcoin locally and trade it for fiat without stressing that you are completing an unlawful movement.
