Someone please recommend some good articles/ threads regarding mining. I have read about crypto and blockchain but I have no idea about mining. How do I start mining coins? What hardware with what specifications are required? Any help is appreciated.

First of all, welcome on board this is the best place to gain knowledge about Bitcoin, blockchain and other cryptocurrencies out there. To be honest, I am very impressed that you are focusing on learning about crypto industry instead of focusing on earning at the initial stage (that's the mistake that most of the newbies do). I would recommend you to invest your time in reading as much as you can and get familiar with it before looking to invest your money.

There are a lot of different topics. You will find a lot of interesting solutions to a particular issue.Such as mining, bounty, ICO, etc. It depends what you're interested in.

There are many subgroups where you can learn many new things from the world of cryptos. Begin to be interested in basic concepts such as wallet, currency exchange, trading security, and so on. I think this will help we newbies especially the reading of articles as some one sugested will be of good for us to better our skills and knowledge as newbies.

I am also a new person. You also know that newbie need merit to upgrade their account. In addition, I also regularly contribute articles to forums, posts are really helpful to everyone but I did not get merit from anyone. I really feel sad  :( . Hope everyone will help me out.

As your are a beginner its good to read some articles and be updated with the new release of coin and the market price of coins where each coins has its own scales , so from forum you can also get a lot of information but also cover more than this so that it helps to be active member and also crytocurrency is a place where you get interested more and more each day by learning new things.

Also be careful of investing in an ICO without doing some thorough research-checking out the website, white paper and the developers. Take a look at their Github as well, has there been a lot of activity recently in regards to development. I was once like you, crypto and trading is definitely an adventure so jump in and enjoy the ride!

As a beginner you must follow the rules and regulation, read and understand the forum, an then participate in forum.
