Never really liked Apple stuff anyway.

Overpriced and expensive to repair.

Let's boycot those bastards.

I've been doing that for the last 10 years or so, it won't have much effect if I boycott a little harder now :-)

Let's boycot those bastards.

Not only that... spread the word around and support their rivals... esp.Samsung.

Big fan of the LG G2 Android phone (marginally less bloatware than Samsung Galaxy)

Dont bother.  The mentality with Apple products is "all of our phone are going to be exactly the same."  Only they have a say how they look/feel and what is allowed in the App store.  I switched to a Samsung Galaxy about a year ago after having iPhones for years, and now I cannot see why anyone likes Apple better.

Can't believe they've removed it completely. When my battered iPhone 3 dies I doubt I'll be going back.

Borrowing Brian Cronens Post

I agree that anti-trust is important

On top of that, I don't know how Google and Apple aren't getting nailed with antitrust suits.

Apple and Google are both not allowing people to download 3rd party app stores (aside from jailbreaking), but take it a step further by outright deciding which programs are authorized to be downloaded and which programs are prohibited from being downloaded (aside from jailbreaking).

And Apple is actively developing programs for their app store to compete with third party apps available on the app store, and it doesn't matter *why* they are removing third party apps, but the simple fact that they are removing and disallowing third party programs to be available on their OS is absurd.

Microsoft did something like that in the mid-90s (although not quite as bad - they never made an app store and never policed what was allowed to be run on their OS through an app store) and they got nailed with a gigantic antitrust suit.

Makes no sense

That's why Apple is bombarding them with insane lawsuits.  >:(
