Elliot Wave theory suggests that movements in prices are essentially a fractal pattern which repeats itself on different scales of time.

The trick is know where in the wave you are.

interesting! but what should it tell us? no predictions possible, because, you have only one wafe in longestterm, what means you dont know, what's possible in the future...
use logarythmic scale, and you'll see much better, at witch part of the wafe we are:

The trick is know where in the wave you are.

You are so right.

The good thing is that these Elliott Wave pattern repeat themselves over and over again, in big and small time frames.
