What is Cryptonitefund?
Cryptonitefund is the first free of charge cryptocurrency fund. Cryptonitefund is designed for long-term investors who believe in the cryptocurrency market and who probably thought once: “Why not buy the same quantity of each of the top 10 coins and just wait?” The reply is easy; with Cryptonitefund, we offer you to perform more than this equally weighed strategy. Cryptonitefund offer in the past 23% more return than this strategy with a Sharpe ratio increased by 16%.


We will soon start a private ICO to raise fund for the ICO's marketing. Each coin will be backed by a share in CryptoniteFund. We will select private investor willing to colaborate in the project.

How to replicate Cryptonitefund performance?
Cryptonitefund has been designed to be replicated in Binance where all the coins are available; however, it can also be replicated in other exchange. We would advise opening a new Binance account to avoid mixing up the Cryptonitefund strategy with your own coins.
Every month, we will update the weight to apply to each coin. Updating the weights in your portfolio every month is optimal; however, our strategy has been back tested with up to 3 months period without an update, and it also gave great results.
You just need to buy the coin in the same proportion as the one we give you. For example, you want to invest $1000 in the fund, and the weight for the bitcoin is 20%, then invest $200 in bitcoin.

I don’t want to bother with that, can you replicate the fund for me?
Currently, we can’t offer this service. We are working on a bot that you’ll be able to easily connect to your Binance API, which will rebalance your portfolio automatically. The bot will be available for a small fee.

How has the strategy been defined?
Our team has been working on the cryptocurrency market for more than six months. We performed statistical analysis to define the specificity of the cryptocurrency market compared to the stock market (after tails distribution, higher volatility, covariance structure...). We started by applying the well-known modern portfolio theory, which provided unsatisfactory results. We have then back tested more than hundred strategies (for example: Minimum variance, minimum volatility, maximum diversification, risk-efficient portfolio, inverse volatility…) against our benchmark (equally weighted portfolio). In the end, we designed our own methodology using machine learning and complex statistics, especially adapted to cryptocurrency market.

What is the twitter sentiment analysis?
We all know the impact of the social network on the cryptocurrency market. The idea here is to provide the market sentiment for each cryptocurrency.
We designed a machine learning tool calibrated with more than 2 million tweets. In trivial terms, it means we teach our algorithms with real tweet ranked by human for negative to positive on a scale going from 1 to 5. We have hence connected our tool on the Twitter API, allowing to request in real time the last 1000 tweets and analyze the results.
The results are hence updated on the website at least once a week. We have the feasibility to provide live results analyzing the sentiment, but to do so, we would need to connect to professional tweeter API, costing more than $1000 a month.
Beware that the sentiment results are at your own analysis, a positive sentiment can’t be always interpreted as an increasing market.

About donation?
The website is completely free of charge and ads-free. All donations are very appreciated, especially in the optic of providing live tweet sentiment analysis, which requires connecting to the professional twitter API.

What is our future?
We expect to become the coinbase of crypto funds. An easy way to invest in different strategies from short-term to long-term strategy, maximizing the volatility for high returns or, in the opposite, maximizing the diversification to reduce the risk. In the end, we want to provide an efficient and very easy way to invest in our funds. We aim to become the very first cryptocurrency manager for private individuals.

We can't guarantee performance.
We can ensure we use automated way to determine the optimal weight of the fund. It is exactly what would do a "traditional" portofolio manager with equity. On our side we develloped tools for the cryptocurrency market. We want to be transparent, don't expect to performe when the market crash, but you can expect to beat the equaly weighted strategy. And perform much better than the market on long term horizon.

CryptoniteFund is a long term oriented fund, hence we won't provide the best daily crypto. Our field of expertise is the portfolio management. To be more precise we use a quantitative approach, without any any expert judgment. We want the fund to be easy to replicate, hence we found the best balance between the rebalancing frequency, which is only on monthly basis and the performance. If we are able to perform the ICO we will professionally manage the fund and provide even more returns.
