Having a groupbuy for Miaviator's hosted ant miner.  Get into mining without worrying about hosting the hardware, selling it, just get BTC in your wallet!  Slots are .021 each, there will be 100 of them.  When we get close to the 30th day, a vote will be held among shareholders to decide if we should keep going.  If the majority vote on no, .010 per share will be returned to the holders.  If the majority vote on yes, we keep it running.  Same thing with the last period of hosting.  If we decide to keep it til the end, I'll sell it on the forum/eBay/Craigslist and split up what we get, or I can host it myself if it's still profitable enough to pay for electricity, whatever the vote says.  I'm getting 5 shares in this, so 95 up for sale.

tl;dr of how his hosting service works:
1 BTC upfront for 30 days
.6 to keep it up for another 30
.4 for last 30 and keeping the rig to host/sell

I will support this group buy.  I'm supplying the hosted device and CooldGamer will manage the shares and payments and final sale. 

I hold a lease from CG and can say for certain that he pays out and can manage dividend payouts without issue.

1) what pool will it be running on?

2) how often are payouts made?

3) is this all covered for breakdown according to miaviator's T&C?

4)would you allow a majority shareholder (i.e. 51%)

The pool would be decided by a majority rules, and I would have no problem with a 51% shareholder.  The ToS can all be found in the posted link, and it is covered against failure in the same way when I host it, if that happens.  Payouts will be made bi-weekly on Wednesday and Saturday, all bundled into one transaction to save fees.

How many shares are left? how much would be required per share to keep going at 30 days if that decision was made?

Currently 75 shares left.  The .0205 at the beginning covers the full 90 days, you will be refunded .01 if we stop after 30, or .004 if we stop after 60.  If this buy goes well, I'll probably do a few more.

Reserving 21 shares for Pon3 Mining

When will the rig be delivered and hashing begin?

Bitmain is shipping all of my hosted units between the 8th and the 13th.  I believe this one is on the 12th shipping date.  Estimated arrival is 3-5 days after shipping.  *BitMain doesn't provide specifics they seem to just work on packing and shipping so usually tracking info comes after the units arrive.

Thank you this is very helpful, so the next week to week and a half then.  Just trying to get a some time frame to calculate profitability. I'm definitely in for a couple of shares, consolidating all my BTC from a couple wallets now and waiting for one more transaction to clear coinbase then I'll be able take some shares.

Couple of questions.

At this price, are we expected to make ROI?

How often for dividends to be paid out?

I am having a baby soon, so I wont be around after that probably.  Would payments be automatic if I give a wallet address up front, without me needing to keep logging on here.  Might be busy.

Payouts happen every Wednesday and Saturday, I'll send them to you as long as I have a wallet addy to send to.  I can't predict what the difficulty will do or what we can sell it for, up to you to guess if it will ROI and invest accordingly :)

The unit is 200gh/s right?  How many gh/s are each share worth?  I didnt see that listed.

What happens if you dont sell all the shares?

I agreed to purchase and host the device for cooldgamer regardless of shares sold so I would by default take all of the remaining shares of the device unless cooldgamer wanted to pay off the remaining balance. (the device is en route already)

I too was expecting to see other peoples suggestions/responses to the PM - can you do group PM's? Anything where there is group interest I think should have visibility on decisions like this? Not that I don't trust others :)

Check the Pon3 thread, auto payouts messed up and sent the whole .04 to them last time instead of their quarter of it, so they won't be getting the next few payouts.  You own shares in both, so it was easier to just not pay you this time to get most of it even.  You'll be getting paid next time
