Title: Comparing volatility of altcoins
Post by: pame_gera on June 28, 2018, 08:59:36 AM
Hi all,

i would like to ask if there is a place, website or whatever where i could compare the volatility of various altcoins?

E.g. which altcoin has the biggest volatility?
or how altcoinA compares to altcoinB regarding their volatility?

If someone know please give me a headsup.

Thank you for your time reading this.

Regards.

You can use this website.
https://www.cryptocurrencychart.com/chart//price/USD/linear//now
If you want to compare, in example TNC/RPX, please follow this step
Step 1: Click in Custom Chart.
Step 2: Add coin to chart that you want to compare ( you can type symbol or full name, all is ok)
Step 3: See chart
Wish it useful for you.  :)

You might also want to use coinmarketcap.com to compare the volatility of altcoins each day. IMO it is one of the best websites to do so because it shows real-time statistics, charts, and movements of markets in every exchange of most coins out there. If you are using android and want to track certain altcoins movements for compare and contrast, then go for blockfolio. Technically coinmarketcap is better but blockfolio notifies you if there are market movements.

You can try this one from coinmarketcap here https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/
You can almost see the list of high volatility coins in 24hrs and I think this is what you are looking for.

I will recommend using coinmaketcap to study the price volume of the individual altcoins you wish to compare and make your own judgement. I did that manually than depending on a single website that compares all altcoins volatility.
