Title: Mining with 1x PCIE extender. Post by: wildboy211 on September 25, 2011, 06:34:37 PM I have a 1x to 1x PCIE extender and when i plug it into my video card, my computer wont turn on at all (which i figure it must be a short somewhere), and someone else told me that i had to short some pins on the motherboards PCIE slot...anyone have any experience with this?
