We navigate the vast distances that surround us on a daily basis. Heck you're moving right now because the earth itself is moving! But moving where? In space, I suppose. The ability to mathematically navigate accurately through space was discovered by Descartes and is known as the Cartesian coordinate system. There are other systems, like radial, but this is the most widely used. It implies that we live in 3 dimensional space, something that may seem obvious to us now, but wasn't all that obvious not long ago, nonetheless, it allows us to know how we navigate and predict certain phenomena like distance, time and speed.
As a mobile living entity, we move around from place to place in a 3D world. Therefore, space is vital for movement. Well that was obvious! However, The world isn't all that predictable, therefore one needs a place to reside, temporarily or permanently. This is the basic nature of mankind, to seek security. Now it is also in mankind's nature to travel, travel and explore the universe. In the historic times this wasn't all that easy. There were many unknowns and dangers out there, a lot of it still remains unexplored today. But still people navigated around in harsh conditions to discover the earth we now live in today. But the basic need for shelter is still the same, because we are still navigating the same 3D space as a species. Spaces can be used for storage or to live in. But it's value depends on our ever-changing demands and circumstances. Therefore, the need for rental space is very necessary for anyone with any demand for any space of any kind.
