Hi guys,
I have a small investment in EOS. Since launch of the mainnet I have been looking for a safe wallet. Currently I stored my tokens on ETH wallet, but that means I cannot vote. I have read about Scatter and Greymass wallets. Both are online apps. To import a wallet I have to provide my private EOS Key. I don't like that at all. Is any hardware ledger support for EOS expected any time soon?

You cannot store EOS token in Ledger. You have to store in Myetherwallet. Hope this helps.

Until the EOS blockchain will be working prefectly and you should not expect it will be accepted by all of the hardware wallet provider. It should be happened next year but there is no ETA about that.
You can try to ask the hardware wallet provider about that.

With the ever increasing number of popularity of the bitcoin as well as the crypto currency market, different types of coins are coming to this market focusing on different sides. Now there are many coins operating in this market. But I think bitcoin wallet is safer than any other wallet in this market.

I have not heard about something like that recently, maybe while EOS will gain some more popularity, big companies that provide Ledger wallets would import the opportunity to store it on their wallets.

There are more than 1500 coins operating in the market. Among them are coins with very high potential and some which are a complete waste of our resources. Pointing out the right one is the main task. But bitcoin wallet is the one which is the safest of them all.

I don't think LEDGER will implement EOS on its wallet before EOS blockchain will be fully developed...meanwhile I'm using MEW...

Would wait for the ledger to support EOS, if you have confidence in the exchange you are holding it on. Since the launch, EOS has had a slew of problems, which makes me wonder about the wallets stability.

Peoples are love to connect with EOS. But i think hardware wallet is the best wallet for security. It provides great security and their performance is also good. These wallets are also very cheap.

In market there are lots of coins are available based on these 1500 coins EOS is one of them also they have good value in market also they have good capital based on this situations you need a good wallet in market there are lots of them ledger nano s wallet can be a good one for you.

You can check the both short term and long term roadmap of ledger, it may add eos if possible I don't know much about this coin.

About storing tokens on the exchange should be forgotten initially, if you do not plan to deal exclusively with trade, because for long-term storage, such services are not suitable.

When I read a lot of messages here on the forum about wallet, I understand that it is one thing to store crypto currency, and quite another thing is the reliability of the wallet, when money is received for bounty. At present, without the MEW is indispensable, but in order to retain leadership, their team needs to make a lot of efforts. If there are possible failures of the work of the Etherium platform for ICO, there will be an urgent need to switch to another platform. EOS with its wallet can and is able to lead a new rating platforms for ICO. This can happen in my opinion in the coming months.

The main purpose of a hardware security device is to protect your funds.

As long as the EOS protocol and network are not fully stable, you could argue that using a hardware security device for protecting your funds is just premature optimization. Your security is only as strong as the weakest link, and in this case the network itself could be weaker (from a security perspective) than your computer or even wallet stored in the cloud.

Just my 2 cents as to why Ledger and Trezor aren't likely to focus on adding EOS support any time soon.

Is that correct or this is not right way?
