Title: ETH Enlargement pill
Post by: BTC22 on July 01, 2018, 06:52:05 PM
So I wanted to test this as far as power consumption. I noticed when running it, my cards were much, much hotter. It did not register though with Afterburner. My thought process was it somehow overrode the settings without triggering it somehow. I ran it for a month straight. To my surprise, my electric bill went up over $150. This was the only change that was made. I have 7 cards. 1 EVGA 1080ti, 5 EVGA 1080s and one MSI 1070ti.

How do you know that your 1080 and 1080ti getting more hotter than without eth enlarge pill?

For me it gives me the same when using enlarge pill.

Try to limit your 1080ti temp on afterburner then test it again also check your environment temp and maybe it is because of weather condition and check all of your cards if its full of dust because it can get your miner hotter.

My electricity price changes every day. You dont got anything like that? Im having trouble seeing that Eth enlargement pill would increase your power without reporting it. Same with the heat issue you are experiencing, it should not be possible, since there are sensors on the GPU, and they just report what they feel.

My electric cost is a flat rate, year to year. The room ambient temperature shoots up 15 degrees, only when using the enlargement pill and the GPU's are absolutely  hotter when running it.

Would appreciate confirmation whether or not this is true. My power meter right now is broken and there are too much variable use of my other appliances at home to accurately say whether or not electric consumption has increased because of the pill.

Power meters should be able to get the exact power draw of your rig before or after using the pill.
