We have phone wallets and it's as easy as using your credit card. Scan QR code, type your PIN If you have any and you're done.

Electronic wallets are easier and convenient compared to the conventional credit cards as QR codes can be scanned. Not to mention, there is also the risk of cards getting stolen as it is tangible compared to wallets which are digital in nature. If you are proposing to make cards for bitcoin, the implication of it stems from regulation through the government as you cannot provide cards into the public where the government disapproves of such utilization in the market.

I definitely agree. QR codes are relatively easier and since transferring funds can be utilized through scanning the images. I remember that I watched this video about the blockchain technology wherein they utilize QR codes for transactions and you could see the history of the product. Since it is under the blockchain, no one can tamper the history and you can view the production of the item throughout.

I personally have never thought of it that way because the government has never inaugurated the existence of bitcoin to develop so I have not thought much about bitcoin cards until now but with the possibility of a rapidly growing technology for bitcoin still very open when bitcoin cards are made especially in developed countries.

For what? If it is more easier to use a wallet software to make transactions in Bitcoin, just input the address of the receiver or scan its address QR code and input the amount you want to send then you are done. You can choose on different Bitcoin wallets out there that you can install on your smartphone, like electrum, mycelium, samourai, greenaddress, and more that all functioning as what you need. Btw Bitcoin can't make its own credit card because there is no company that owns it, maybe you are saying a company that can provide a credit card service for Bitcoin.

I think the Bitcoin wallet is superior in every way, with the convenience of being unlike credit cards, with QR code can be very easy in transactions, it has not been recognized by the government as payment but the relationship with fellow users as an example of how very easy not too many rules exaggeration, back again it's all a statement I've ever felt by itself.

Unlike visa and other credit card, I don't think bitcoins which needs network confirmation for every transactions need card to make it work. It will be difficult to implement such ideas with bitcoins.

Well I am wondering if you are just noob in the forum or really noob in using cryptocurrencies. I would say both. The concept of Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies is to have fast transactions. Its aim is to be a mode of payment and that is still an ongoing process until today. Through internet, transactions without third parties is possible. With its features, mobile wallets, hard wallets and all sorts of wallets are created for easier transactions as well as the creation of credit cards.

If you happen to create your own, you will further understand. Good luck mate.

I agree with you, If there is a wallet that is easy and practical why should use credit / debit card Bitcoin which I think is not very effective.

Bitcoin does not need to have a bank card. In order to make payments we have our smartphones. This is much more convenient than having a debit card with a display and buttons.

If bitcoin has its own debit card, we can do all our businesses and transactions with this card. In my opinion it can be revolutionary service for all crypto lovers.

I don't know if you understand bitcoin completely. Bitcoin is not a company that can create credit cards for themselves. Bitcoin is a currency, an asset, and a holding all in one. Bitcoin debit cards already exist and I believe that is what you're talking about. You can load them up with balance using your wallet and use that balance for transactions in stores that accept the type of card.

For example: Bitpay offers a VISA debit card and since visa is almost always accepted, it's pretty much a surefire for anyone looking to get a bitcoin debit card.

Bitcoin debit cards already exist and are quite popular. Bitcoin credit cards don't exist yet but at the moment there are no issuers for something like that. To issue bitcoin credit card there should be some financial institution or card issuer behind it and because of high volatility and lack of regulation I don't think we will not see bitcoin credit card coming soon. At the moment I don't know who would be willing to take such risk.

For bitcoin to have it's own card, it's going to take centralization as you're going to need to have 3rd parties to manufacture the cards(we already have Wirex, TenX, Monaco, etc). Also, why use cards when you can use your mobile phone?

If so it will be no different from the old money. And then we have to go to ATMs to make transactions. That is quite inconvenient. I think Bitcoin will develop to deal with phones and the Internet

now we have a gadget that can be used for crypto transactions, and I think in the future other features that support bitcoin will be more perfect, of course, we wait until bitcoin has been accepted by all countries.

very interesting if we have bitcoin card, which has balance, and we can use bitcoin balance for the transaction. in Japan still use gadget to do bitcoin transaction. maybe japan will be the first country to create a bitcoin card.

I do not like to use credit card as much as possible but maybe this is a good idea. Maybe this can be possible when every country accepts cryptocurrency.

I think bitcoin has plan to have it's own card. But also we have electronic wallets that can be use anywhere or anytime we want to. It is much more easier and convenient to all of us without hassle. We just need to scan ou QR code and send the payments.

We used to have visa/mastercard before from which we can use our bitcoin but right now like banks those card provider have also dropped the support for bitcoin and started making their own versions and patenting them.

To be able to work as independent card, some big company have to step forward and they have to install both ATM machines and their offices worldwide which is almost impossible for any companies and can take years to gain approval from individual governments so noone will be dare enough to start that.

We also have some bitcoin ATMs but most of them just have buy feature because if they will allow sell option people have to wait for many hours to get their money so not feasible unless we have lightening network.

It is very easier to use an electronic wallet to keep your bitcoins safe and sound rather than finding any safety guard cards for your crypto.

I must thanked you for suggesting this kinds of cleaver ideas, that's right bitcoin can provides their own cards to the users but if we think otherwise then they have wallets and using it is as easy as using a card, but maybe there can be posibilites of this kinds of facilities on the future we never know what brings to us.

I appreciate your idea its is kinda new and innovative one. But as we have mobile wallets and that is also easy to operate. We can pay any where through the wallet. Just need to scan and give the PIN number.

What do you mean? As player514 said, 'Bitcoin is a currency, an asset, and a holding all in one.' Bitcoin is not one entity, so it cannot have any plans.

Bitcoin is not a project owned by some company so there will be no special cards for only itself, also it is not centralized but it can be used in crypto cards besides other coins.

Bitcoin is one of the most trusted and widely used cryptocurrencies in the whole world for a reason. Instead of credit cards, Bitcoin has electronic wallets which is way more convenient to use than credit cards itself.

The people in the crypto currency market usually use wallets. They are quite secure and are safe to use. If we want to know more how the wallet operates, then we can try looking up at the internet for a better guidance and then there are forums where such types of things are discussed.

It depends on the government rules and regulation. If any particular countries are accept bitcoin then those countries bitcoin investor can use this card if bitcoin wants to make this card. But a nowadays bitcoin wallet is a popular way to use bitcoin.

So are you implying that we should ask the bitcoin CEO? 🤔🤔
