Title: BTC stuck in wallet due to Pvt key issues
Post by: baliboy5781@ on July 05, 2018, 12:35:54 PM
HELLO if anyone can answer this question then i would be most appreciated i have btc locked in my WATCH ONLY address in my BLOCKCHAIN wallet and i want  to be able to move it to another wallet but it requires PRIVATE KEYS which i cant obtain and im told that any btc address starting with 3 is near impossible to get keys so im stuck between a  rock and a hard place i have checked the BLOCKCHAIN for both addresses in WATCH ONLY MODE and the transactions have been confirmed so if any member has any idea how i can

1.get the PRIVATE KEYS for the WATCH ONLY btc addresses so i can go through the process of transferring it to a secure wallet Happy to pay for your services if we can achieve this only after the funds appear in my NEW wallet

Doesn't matter what bitcoin address you have, if you've lost your private keys and have no other backup like a recovery/seed phrase, for example, then there's simply no way to regain control of that wallet.

Maybe you can start by explaining how you obtained that wallet, and why on earth did you request a transaction to it if you didn't control it. And maybe explain why it is exactly you said you don't have private keys. Did you lose it? Was this an address someone gave to you?

just a update the BTC addresses were sent to me from a trading platform in two lots which are both part of my payout so there not stolen or random i added to my BLOCKCHAIN wallet as addresses as instructed by my broker so the funds are held in the trading platform and they sent me the addresses my intention was to move the funds from my WATCH MODE BCHAIN wallet to my TREZOR for extra security but when i click on transfer it say private keys required so i contact the broker for the priv keys and he tells me he doesnt have then so he gives me a story about getting a pvt key generator and sent me a link they charge 800$ to do the job but im not that happy with the arrangement so im trying to find someone here that may have had the same run around and solved the private key biz now theres plenty of generators out there but none of them work with BTC 3  now b4 you all judge me for following this SCAM when you give the last of your money to get the big prize and its sitting in my wallet its worth a shot so looking for a back door i have checked both addresses on the blockchain and they have both been confirmed so i dont need tell you a story  on how when or why just need a genius to unravel my PRIVATE KEYS

I think you got scammed. Normally, you send your own address to receive funds, you shouldn't get an address from someone else.

You should make your posts easier to read, this is terrible.

I don't think anyone's judging you. It's just that you should be really careful about using Bitcoin properly, especially when involving so much money. Like LoyceV says above, you should be the one giving an address to deposit funds to. Lesson learnt, only accept Bitcoin to your own wallet. Even if the sender gives you a working address with private keys, you should immediately sweep those funds to your own wallet.

You should be the only one controlling a wallet. And yes, I'm afraid you've been scammed. There is no backdoor and no genius who can obtain those keys for you. Just that "broker".

If private keys could be discovered by a 'genius' this forum would not exist because bitcoin would be broken and forgotten.

The person who scammed you has the private keys. Unless you find them and force them to hand the money over it's not accessible to you.

so i contact the broker for the priv keys and he tells me he doesnt have then so he gives me a story about getting a pvt key generator and sent me a link they charge 800$ to do the job but im not that happy with the arrangement

Unfortunately, you got scammed  :(

Not only that you were never in possession of 'your' bitcoins (You do only own bitcoins if you own the correct private key), but he also has the gall to try to scam you again.

I guess you don't know him personally? Because if you do, you might contact the local law enforcement agency. You are a victim of a (sordid) crime.

Which "Trading Platform"? It would be good to know so that others can avoid it.

You say the funds are in the "trading platform", which is true... so you cannot move them using your blockchain.info wallet.

my intention was to move the funds from my WATCH MODE BCHAIN wallet to my TREZOR for extra security but when i click on transfer it say private keys required
Watching-only wallets are exactly that... "watching only". You cannot move coins using a watching only wallet as they do not contain the private keys necessary to sign the transactions.

so i contact the broker for the priv keys and he tells me he doesnt have then so he gives me a story about getting a pvt key generator and sent me a link they charge 800$ to do the job
And this confirms that it is totally a scam :-\ Can you also provide the link for this "private key generator"?

but im not that happy with the arrangement
No, you shouldn't be happy.

so im trying to find someone here that may have had the same run around and solved the private key biz now theres plenty of generators out there but none of them work with BTC 3
There aren't any "private key generators" that "work" they way they're claiming. Anyone claiming to have a guaranteed private key generator is either stupid or lying.

now b4 you all judge me for following this SCAM when you give the last of your money to get the big prize and its sitting in my wallet its worth a shot so looking for a back door i have checked both addresses on the blockchain and they have both been confirmed so i dont need tell you a story  on how when or why just need a genius to unravel my PRIVATE KEYS
Unfortunately, no one is going to be able to do this except for the "trading platform"... ie. the scammers who are actually in control of the addresses. They are the only ones with the private key(s) and the only ones that can move you coins.

This is an expensive lesson learned. DO NOT trust other people with your bitcoins... this includes exchanges. If you are not in sole possession of the private keys for the addresses that hold your coins, then you do not control the coins. :-\
