Title: Have You Ever Noticed?...
Post by: cabalism13 on July 05, 2018, 05:48:56 PM
Did you notice that most of the banned accounts here in this forum are mostly posting on the economics, altcoin discussions and bitcoin discussion?

Do they looked as a spam or something else?

But some campaigns requires to post something on those sections,...

Actually I'm a little afraid to post to those section as for I already know that there are a lot of spammed topics on it and my account will be on the edge of being banned.

(If this post doesn't fit on the Meta please feel free to move it, I will locked this thread as soon as I can get some guides on whether to post on those said sections or not)

Those are the sections where they can most easily get away with plagiarism, since usually there are dozens of pages of replies and they think no one was looking.  They probably wouldn't pull the copy/paste shit on a 3-page thread (but they might; they are stupid).

I haven't really noticed that those are the most common sections for banned accounts, but it doesn't shock me for the above reason, plus the fact that those are where shitposters and assorted campaign spammers go to get their posts buried.

You can post on those sections as long as you don’t post in shitposts and spam megathreads. There are few good posts on those sections, but there are.

If you do that, you have nothing to fear.

Banned accounts are not so much because of where they post but because of what they post. Keep your posts constructive.

Then, I don't have to worry, right?
Though replying on a topics that already has a bunch of replies will still be considered as spam, am I wrong?
And for the last thing, as for my own opinion, I think that it would be better if a large number of DTs and Mods will try to watch those sections to avoid the continuous spamming.
Thanks for giving your thoughts.

Don't post in any thread where you can't make a meaningful contribution, whether it's because the thread is shit, or your post will look like shit - e.g. you don't have knowledge on the topic or haven't read the thread to see if what you're going to post has already been said 100 times. This automatically excludes all those spam megathreads. While you're at it, report shitposts to moderators, you're responsible for keeping this forum clean just like everyone else. DT can't help much with that except in extremely blatant scammy cases such as alt/merit/bounty abuse.
