So when Im on some exchanges there is a thing called a troll box with people chatting about prices and stuff are these people "trolls" just to scheme you into buying coins or something or are they actually giving you decent advice? In short WTF is a trollbox LOL

That chat is full of people trying to shill/pump their coin. Please don't take any advice from them.

There's a decent, there's a troll, there's a shit, there's a fact, there's a lie etc.

You have your own working mind that knows what is an obvious thing to do once you read their stuffs.

It's up to you if you will follow or not.

I mean, it's called a troll box. It is what it is. A public chatbox that people can say almost everything they want. And what do you expect from those kinds of chats? Yep, trolls. Lots and lots of trolls. I'm pretty sure those chatboxes were never made for serious discussion in the first place.

Your idea is quite good. But the purpose only to troll should also be to consider. I see this if researched in depth. This is a good thing. I like it very much

Itf you spend just 1 minute reading what they're saying you'll know why it's called trollbox. A great example is the one on yobit. Most people arte there just to say shit and troll. Here's what a typical conversation looks like this:
-xcoin is pumping buy now!
-xcoin is a shitcoin
-you are a shitcoin!

Never believe a troll box, what is said in it is note what the people trolling practice. They say look east and they will be walking to west. Most times, is the bagholders who want to get raid of their coins will entice people to buy so they can sell off .

They actually exist for traders to talk, discuss etc. but in many troll box it is not allowed to talk about trading and also there are many trolls this is why it is called troll box, it is for trolling  :D

They try to influence the market in a bad way. If they actually can do this through simple chat, its debatable, but they try for sure.

Would you suggest project to incorporate Troll Boxes?

Troll box as far as I know is a service that you can implement in your web that provides a chat environment. It is used in many webs.

A troll box is a box where trolls are caught. You can compare it to a pokeball! If you want to catch a pokemon you have to use it and if you are successful the pokemon is "stored" in your pokeball. The same way a trollbox works. You can collect all the trolls there and you are able to reduce their activity or at least monitoring it.

I think if a trollbox is used constantly it can help.

Basically it's nothing but a plain ol' chatbox. I think it just got it's name since the chat is not censored, some people who spread fuds and creates "trolls" in a coin in an exchange can be freely post in it.

A chatroom where people constantly troll each and trick newbies into falling for pump and dumps. Some trading sites like BTC-E have them built in to the site and they show up in a small box on the side.

ok thanks everyone for the replies, yea that's what I assumed a troll box was (a bunch of trolls trying to fuck with my head) but I did read a definition online before posting this that it was actually for people to help people so I was a bit confused. But I think it's kinda hillarious and awesome at the same time that you can be playing with your money and have a little chat box full of asshats trying to influence you the opposite of wall streets uber serious vibe I LIKE THE TROLL BOX. But I won't listen to a single word that comes out of their mouths but will sure be entertained :)
