The Exchange Traded Fund, if it does happen, will be a game changer for Bitcoin. It could let common people take Bitcoin exposure with ease. Unfortunately, the regulators haven't taken a positive stance. Since this time the applicant is CBOE Global Markets, we can hope that the SEC will look at the application favourably.

The SEC cares about these things only;

- Is the ETF running on a trustworthy platform? Check.
- Can it prosecute manipulators through CBOE? Check.
- Can it prosecute manipulators through the exchanges assigned to function as price tracker and custodian provider? Check.
- Is the ETF backed by the underlying asset? Check.

The odds of an approval have never been this high. If CBOE manages to get that approval, you can be sure that CME will follow.

Bitcoin ETF could be a catalyst for the next market bull run. Just recently, BlackRock, the largest ETF provider shoed interest in crypto and blockchain.
