Basically I had my wallet on my main PC whilst I had a separate PC for mining over the June to August period. Over September I've bought a new laptop and changed some hardware on my desktop (I've changed from an Intel X25-M 80GB to Crucial C300 64GB) and in the process of changing my desktop it seems I didn't copy my APPDATA Bitcoin folder. I have checked my wallet on the mining PC and it is not the right one and is empty. It seems I've only copied the Program Files Bitcoin folder... Is there any way where I can get my wallet back as I did have 28 BTCs and although they're not worth much now it is still about 3 months of mining for me. I guess you do not have access to your old Intel hard drive? If that is the case you can't get your coins back. Otherwise you can still copy the wallet.dat from the old hard drive. Unfortunately I cleared the SSD before selling it on :/ I've had a look on my mining rig and it has a lot of files in the APPDATA Bitcoin folder, but it doesn't have my wallet. And on slush's pool's website (the pool I used) it shows all the bitcoins that were sent to me. Anything I can do with this info? Yeah, I really regret it, I backed up the Program Files folder instead of the wallet... *Sigh* I sold the SSD on eBay so the chance of getting it back is next to nil I'm afraid.
