Selling should be when price have appreciated from the entry price, giving some profit. For instance, with current price, some investors might not have made profit, so they have to still hold.

I'm the day trader or short-term trader, so I will sell it if I get profit. But in this situation, very high risk to invest in bitcoin because the fundamental and technical is very bad. I used to thinking like this "when the price goes down I will buy it, or when there is money I will buy it, let's just say it's like saving money" but now I will think like this 'Buy the rumour, sell the news'. Sometimes we as traders trade based on what we believe will happen in a news or a particular event (rumour). After that passes or the report is released (news), we will sell it and will not care about it anymore.

Well it depends on you mate. If you are a day trader, you can sell your bitcoin even if you can earn a small amount as long as your capital investment earned. But in this situation, very high risk to invest in bitcoin because the fundamental and technical is very bad.

My own opinion? To sell? I dont really think much about it. I have my job and it gives for my necessities. I really want to see bitcoin being used at any store but with a better price also to stretch the number of items I can buy with the amount of bitcoin that I have.

1- It depends on your mindset, if you have bought earlier and satisfied with the profit, you can sell it now.

2- If you believe in crypto world and understand the technology , you must hold it for long and diversify your money into many different cryptocurrencies having good technical background like Ethereum and Ripple

3- If you want to trade, buy when it goes down and sell when it goes up. Repeat it everytime you might earn good profit.

I will also sell my bitcoin if the price is back at $20,000 or it will surpass that price. As of now the price of bitcoin is on the down of a hill so that I think I will not sell it and I will just hold it. I also still keep on buying bitcoin and then I will hold and afterwards I will sell it so that I could gain good income.

It really depends on the situation. If I really need the money i will sell it, and if i don't need it for some "wants" i will hold it till i make a profit. But in some situations for example (this is a "want" not a need)i find a nice deal on mountain bike part/s i will sell some so that i can impulse buy. Sometimes you gotta have some ground rule. I have a ground rule, for example this is the amount of your bitcoin let say 1 btc, i will add 20-30% increase if it increases that much i will withdraw it and if it decrease in like 20-30% i will definitely withdraw it without having second thoughts. But yeah i'm a impulse buyer sometimes so i withdraw whenever i see some really good deals.

If I were you I'd invest it in a cryptobank like Baanx or Binance or any of the major cryptobanks, then you wont have to worry about it's price drop

Target to sell bitcoin will be different for different people.  
Suppose one person buys bitcoin few years back @200$ per bitcoin.  At current market price he if decides to sell will still earn several times more than his initial investment.  
Now one person bought one  btc @ say 15k last year and missed to book profit later when the price touched even +20k.  If he decides to sell he will have to suffer big loss.  So he may be deciding to hold and wait for the price to again touch higher levels.

Thats right. Its depends on the owner and the situations. If you really need the money, then go sell it, but if you just wanted to sell it because of the price drops f bitcoin, i think you'll regret it later, because bitcoin will increase again later, it wont die because it dont have competitor. Patiencw is what you need when you're investing on bitcoin.

We don't think selling now is a good idea. But we are believers of bitcoin so we will be holding until we really need the money. For bow we are trading and using the profits for our daily needs.

I Will never sell bitcoin. It's mean I will sell bitcoin every day and will not sell forever. Though I know my answer is confusing. Selling should be done in such a way that you do not bear loss . The selling price must be higher than purchasing cost plus interest for the holding period of bitcoin. People are talking about when to sell Bitcoin?, I think at this time is not the time to think about it.
We have to do now is how to introduce the benefits of Bitcoin to the community.
When Bitcoin has been used by the wider community I think it is a great time to sell Bitcoin. correct?

Today is not the best time to sell bitcoin. I'll be holding until it reaches the ATH for this year. Nobody would want to sell their bitcoin if they wont be gaining profit.

Me too, because I bought my Bitcoin around $15,000, so if I will sell my Bitcoins now, I am a loser. I will still hold my bitcoins until above $15,000. Because I want to earn profits or maybe if I am in rush, I will sell my Bitcoin in exact $15,000. Just even , no more no less.

now a days price of bitcoin is very low that's why I'm not selling my bitcoin in cheap price I prefer to hold it first then sell it when the price of bitcoin back to normal price.

 I will sell my bitcoins if i can gain a big profit from it. It is difficult to predict the market at this moment but i believe it will rise soon.Nowadays is better to buy more coins and hold until market recover.

Your computation is rather confusing. I don't quite understand it. Anyway, what I know is that Bitcoin's price is always treading a zigzag line. Sometimes it goes up. Sometimes it goes down. And when it is up, you could sell. And when it is down, it means it is buying time once again. As for me, I will not be selling soon. The price is still very low. I would want to see the 5-digit price before considering selling.

Right now, i have no plans on selling my bitcoin. I can patiently wait for it to grow and become more expensive before I will think of selling it. All I wanted now is to earn more of it.

If possible, i want to sell all my holdings if the price of bitcoins now will double or it's more better if it would be triple. But it seems that this year is not really good for bitcoin, and i will have to wait a more longer time if i wait for this price to be reached of bitcoin.

For now the price is very low I will not sell my bitcoins instead I will buy for it if I have money for investment. This price is the best price for investors to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin for me will soon to boom in the market. So better invest and do not sell if you have hold bitcoins.

How could I be talking about selling when I am still at a loss? I would not be thinking of selling as of this point. I am a little stubborn when it comes to my portfolio management. I will not accept the fact that I will be selling today less than one third of the price had I made the selling last December of 2017. And now I will be sticking it out with my Bitcoins until they get back to their $20,000 price.

We had to know that we can anchieve high profits if we hodl bitcoin for a long term period. When you ask, when, I think when we are satisfied with the profits then that is the right time to sell. We don't have to feel fomo or panic whenever the market is dump.

I am not holding such an amount of Bitcoin...So if any type of loss occurs then it can be recovered...And if I am lucky then I will sell the bitcoins when its price will increase again as like it increased from the price in 2013 and the price in 2017...They already became rich...So lets see if history repeats.

Why would you sell it on how much you bought your bitcoin? How can you earn profit on that way? If i were you i will be waiting for more until it reach to the amount that double the price or atleast 50% profits i can earn from my bitcoins.

To be honest, I am not a trader but as an investor, I believe that Bitcoin will perform very well in the long term. I am not going to sell my Bitcoins at all in the next 5 to 10 years but I am always ready to spend it as a payment instrument. When the bitcoin price is $ 20,000, exactly towards the end of 2017, I have sold most bitcoin I have, I am currently not thinking of selling bitcoin back, because the bitcoin price decline is very sharp and I realize to achieve a high price increase definitely takes sufficient time long. It is hard to say buy or sell at this time is best. A lot of people are buying at peak prices as the market rises and sells losses at current low prices. For me the current price is low to buy. You say bitcoin has increased by 20 times in 4 years but I think very few people bought it 4 years ago and keep it up until now. So I think the current time is good to buy bitcoin

Just read it carefully he said he will buy more bitcoins now and then he will sell it when the price reaches $20K again,this is also good strategy to be followed by more person to make profits when their crypto currency was crashed.But most of the people don't have guts to do that kind of thing they will sell their coins for lower price from their cost and get back again and buy at higher prices so they never can earn anything by doing this.

If am I currently hodl some bitcoin now, I'll sell it at the end of this year. It is very likely that bitcoin will rise again after this year, seeing as there is no movement this year, even getting down. Selling it now is probably a bad advocate.

I will sell when I have very good prophet, I believe that betcoin will go beyond 20000$ by the end of 2018 and I am waiting.
and if it didn't make it, I will never sell as long as I am not in a real need for the money.
I deal with betcoin as an investor targeting a large amount of money with huge prophet not normal or usual ROI.

For some people bitcoin is used for side income, they get bitcoin for free, and it's not a problem, it will benefit to you if you want to
be patient, collect bitcoin as much as possible, do not sell until you have a lot of bitcoin and the price is high

i sell it when i really need it and don't have any other choice where to get money. but so far i only sell a small amount of bitcoin to fiat. i will hold it for years to gain profit.

I totally agree with you mate. Acquiring huge profit from bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency is my utmost goal as to why i am here. Realistically speaking, i would even say that my goal is also everyones goal. I believe and will always believe that there is a time for everything. After all, it is a matter of choice when will we prefet to do our will to sell or even hold our bitcoin. It's too fast growing so it's easy to get volatile. Moreover, after the downtrends, the market was always going strong and more than the peak before it fell. I am not going to offer my coins at the present time. It is smarter to hold up until the point that the market turns green once more. This is a terrible droop period and I am simply trusting that the market receives in return at the earliest opportunity. Furthermore, until the point that then I am not doing anything besides rather watch the market diagrams and depend on some great specialized examination reports.

Well, as we can see that the price of bitcoin now is down compare to last december, but we are hoping and expect to make it increase on their price one of this day,because almost five months when the last price is very down,and i will hold my bitcoin until i did not use it because i will be shorten on the profit when i sell it now.

Well, I am not planning to sell just because its panicking right now and its trending down. It has more value than the current price and this is the only reason I am still holding and I am expecting to see the bullish trend to start soon in the Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies soon in the August month End.
