Can you name any of them that have gone bankrupt? I'm a crypto player/trader but so far so good and I have never been bankrupt.
You are saying that there are many traders that have failed in the crypto market.
Do you have any reason on why you are saying this or you just basically want to say this to scare others?

Many cryptocurrency 'traders' are making fortunes.
In crypto trading one person's loss is another gain.
Strive to become a good player to avoid loosing out.

not all cryptocurrency players go bankrupt, they just experience a decline in assets and most of them do not sell the asset before the price recovers. Just as crypto players and traders who have long been in the world of cryptocurrency they think to increase their investment, for the reason they believe that the price will be able to recover.
maybe you mentioned is a new player who experienced panic sell to see the current market conditions.

This is a vague statement and a fallacy of hasty generalization.

Can you point us to a source or a link where we can view this statement of yours? Thank you!

With no real evidence to back this statement up, this is totally untrue.
Note players/traders are busy increasing their stakes, buying from weak hands and people that don't understand the market.

There are many small investors who do not have the right investment method and have lost a lot in the period from the beginning of the year to now. I think that in order to succeed in any market, it is necessary to have a proper investment strategy so that investors can be proactive in all the worst situations.

You have no proof that many players in crypto currency got bankrupt. Of course we can't avoid losses in playing or investing in crypto because it is too risky  but i think most of the people here in crypto is already aware and they playing ang investing carefully.

How sure is this? Well, we don't really know about this so maybe those are gamblers and not a hodlers or a greedy one. But for sure, if you are good here you will not become like that, this market is nice in terms of profit making so learn how.

This post are just making other peoples afraid to join crypto, this was my first time to heard about it, even if they've got hack or scam it doesn't mean to be bankrupt, because I think every single bitcoin has known their own plan and strategy.

People who just entered last December and borrow money just to enter the cryptocurrencies market are in trouble because they cannot pay their debts anymore. It is alarming because some even commit suicide because of depression and they cannot feed their family anymore due to debts. This is the reason we should always the risk involve when it comes to investing especially as risky as this crypto market because we don't know what will happen in the future.

This post are just making other peoples afraid to join crypto, this was my first time to heard about it, even if they've got hack or scam it doesn't mean to be bankrupt, because I think every single bitcoin has known their own plan and strategy.

This post is not to make people afraid but instead let people be aware of the reality that there are some who got bankrupt because they invested heavily on bitcoin without risk management. It would instead make people be wary and take the necessary risk and know when to sell so that they can avoid being bankrupt.

I think my statement may have misunderstood some people.
In the case where we hold the real cryptocurrency, there is no bankruptcy.
I am the operator of other communities, so I propose
I am referring to new players this year.
They step into the futures market
There are also many speculative coins
If you think that you can explain the funds after Q1?

For them bankruptcy when investment in cryptocurrency is an option, because they can still sell their assets when the price will drop drastically. But they still believe in bitcoin prices in the future until they will choose long-term investment. Bankrupt now does not mean bankrupt in the future, doing business in cryptocurrency is different from doing business in the real world. In cryptocurrency a person who has bankruptcy due to a declining price still has a hope because the price will go up, of course if he is patient because it does not sell his assets when the price drops. But when businesses are in the real world and they go bankrupt, and to recover they must need new capital to recover it.

Of course he can't name any of them, this is a troll topic. Of course newcomer started something like this, without names, arguments, proofs, he just wrote something stupid and he found a perfect place to do that.
Nothing more then spreading fud, this can be characterized like that, there isn't need for us to explain him what is truth, he already knows it.
I always point out one doubt I have, what agenda this newcomers have with starting this threads? They bother to come here and create account just to spread fud? Are they paid for that or they are haters without job and lot of free time? After many years I still don't have answer on that question.

Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt

Do you mean bankruptcy as fall in price or you mean losing out totally? I think you need to clarify this because in cryptocurrency business, no investor lose totally even when price goes bearish because the unit of quantity acquired still remains no matter how price has fallen even below ico price.

Although, the only way an investor can lose totally is, and unless when the coin is deleted or taken out of the exchanges where it is listed.

Because most of those crypto investors doesn't know where to invest there money and many of those investors are mostly newbies that's why they get scam by shitcoins and ICO expecting for immediate gains only to find out that their money will go to waste in those unknown altcoins with no ceo, no good team of dev, no roadmap and not marketable.

ICO at this time is not the same as 2015-2017. Stop crying if you've been sleeping with the past. ICO became famous and featured high leverage loeij in the short term. But it is only one component in this ecosystem. If you want to make a profit, you need to be patient several times over.

The truth is bitcoin has no underlying rate of return, You know bonds have an interest coupon, Stocks have earnings and dividends, gold has nothing. There is nothing to support bitcoin except the hope that you will sell it to someone for more than you paid for it.

This is because there are many dumb money playing in the market. There are many newbies just throwing their money knowing that they will gain profit in a short amount of time and when there is a FUD in the internet, they will immediately sell all of their coins.

Lets think how the newbies who borrowed fiat money in December 2017 just to buy bitcoin at that time. They are in serious trouble right now because the bitcoin they bought has decreased by almost 70%. Maybe they are waiting for that time to happen again that Bitcoin will reach the $20k mark again by December or maybe earlier.

Bankruptcy in financial investment is normal and cryptocurrency is also not so easy to get profitable and get rich quick as many people think. Without knowledge and investment spontaneously, without a clear plan, failure is inevitable.

loosing is indeed pretty normal because it is part of the game but loosing too often that leads to bankruptcy is not good anymore , youd better take a break and analyze your mistakes before you can decide to make a comeback again.

many crypto players have gone bankrupt based on the current status of the market but new players do constantly enter , therfor the market of cryptos can still possibly recover .

The fact that some traders went bankrupt in the crypto currency market, I do not see anything unusual. Taking a crypto currency is not just a profit. This is a risky business and the greatest risk is the daily trading on the stock exchange. People took a number of wrong decisions, which led to the loss of their money. It has always been, is and will be.

Many cryptocurrencies users have gone bankrupt because they did the small thing that we dont need to do when investing in bitcoin. The only time when you have gone bankrupt is when you invest money in it. Now, the tips on how you wont get bankrupt is that, dont invest all of your money because yeah let's say that it will double your money and sometimes it might be tripled. But there is also a chance that it will not return to you. So just invest your extra money. Not all of your money.

For those who took their time to study this market well, and been patient with it, their hard work is quietly paying off.

I just think every investor who sells bitcoin in December 2017 has become rich now. But for those who have withheld bitcoin from December until now are those who will feel the enormous loss, and feel the greatest regret too. At least for people who sell bitcoin in December they will have huge savings to prepare to re-invest when at the lower price.

Responding to topics and statements made by Op, is actually giving credence and relevance to whatever he is insinuating because people like that are better referred to as trolls who does not have any iota of the argument they are putting forward neither is it being supported with fact to drive home their point. Everyone knows that the golden rule in crypto is not to invest money which if unavailable, would put you in a difficult situation and the moment that is adhered to, then the issue of bankruptcy does not arise. Aside that, the rate of return for anyone since the beginning of 2017 has been positive year on year basis. So, there is no need to continue dignifying this with responses.

Iíd like to second this. Even if a crypto player makes a horrible trade or has sold their coins at a loss, they shouldnít go bankrupt unless they have placed all their life savings on the line - which is strongly not advisable. Perhaps a better phrasing for the heading/title should be ďmany cryptocurrency players have lost heir moneyĒ because the term bankrupt is misleading. It also gives a bad connotation.

Bankruptcy can still be prevented if you can control your emotions well. Bankruptcy happens because the panic happens at the time of crash quickly and you can not control emotions well. If it can be controlled properly, then I'm sure you will avoid bankruptcy.

Emphasis on the word players.

You play a game, you've got to lose one way or other, eventually.

But if you're just in this for the experiment that it is, if you're using Bitcoin because you believe in it, then you've really got not much to lose - you'll always have your Bitcoin to spend, it's always going to be around for using, and there's always someone willing to accept it.

But if you're "into BTC" because you want to play the money game, be prepared to lose. Simple as that.

Bankruptcy can still be prevented if you can control your emotions well. Bankruptcy happens because the panic happens at the time of crash quickly and you can not control emotions well. If it can be controlled properly, then I'm sure you will avoid bankruptcy.

Trading seems to give people an illusion that they can control things. If you're trading, you can prevent bankruptcy, for sure, but you can't control your emotions when the market's crashing all around you (or booming all around you). That's just marketing talk.

Bankruptcy always happen when you spend most of your money in bad things and if your greed takes over you. This is what happen when you have enough profit to use for your gambling addiction. Yes, every time the market dumps, a lot of people exit in the market and guess what, most of them spend their money in to not important things and when the time market recover, they donít have money to invest now. Bankruptcy is a result of a bad decisions.

I would say that those who jumped on the bandwagon back in the winter when it was over 15k may have gotten hurt, but not bankrupt. That's what happens when you run into a burning building. The trend was already bending to near maximum peaks but sometimes people make decisions based on emotions while investing and get into a trade before carefully and rationally analyzing it. I've done it myself enough times to recognize it.

Also, there have been people getting hurt because of exchange hacks, but that's about all that comes to my mind. Bankrupt? Please tell us more.

Without certain experience, Trading and Hodling are risky. The most acceptable method of investing at the moment is ICO. For a more successful contribution, you need to carefully analyze the project. Identify is necessary for the market side. For example, the Kelvin Blockchain (https://medium.com/@kelvinchain/the-post-quantum-era-of-blockchain-todays-solutions-for-the-world-of-tomorrow-16bdd970f49a) project has an innovative method of encryption, transmission, storage, and security. All this is based on quantum computing. Thus becoming in demand in the future. With the coming quantum technologies, the current market must experience many changes. To be more exact, many coins will leave the market, as there will simply be no demand for them, due to the same technological superiority. I managed to participate in several ICO, some I earned quite well, I can say with certainty, for a good project, it must have potential for the future, that it will be needed in five years. Unfortunately most projects do not have this potential. I was lucky and I came across a project focused on protecting against hacking quantum processors, and to maximize the use of all the advantages of new technologies, project Kelvin Blockchain, you need at least to consider, because not every day there is such a good option for investing money.
Kelvin Blockchain (https://medium.com/@kelvinchain/the-post-quantum-era-of-blockchain-todays-solutions-for-the-world-of-tomorrow-16bdd970f49a) project itself is flexible to implementing cryptographic algorithms which will make it one of the safest blockchains ever existed with 10+ signature available from the start. This project does not rely on any particular signature algorithm and due to the multi-client use - on some single consensus. In case of any problems, it is possible to quickly locate the threat and prevent itís distribution throughout the system. Multiple blockchains with different consensus algorithms, token types, and assignments will be available. The multichain technology allows creating almost an unlimited potential for speed and productivity. Kelvin Blockchain can launch up to 2^64 subchains - more available subchains will benefit in increased speed and security. Moreover, all the blockchains will be processed in one wallet so that the client could have fast transactions, secure investments and cheap smart contracts as well as a lot of other services at his hand.

I think it depends on each new investor.
Everyone knows that the golden rule in electronic money is not to invest money if not, which will put you in a difficult situation and the time is respected, the problem of bankruptcy does not arise.
When the tips on how you will not go bankrupt, do not invest all your money because let's say it will multiply your money.
Then greed appears and what to do is sober before every decision you make will never go bankrupt. :)

Logically this year was the best period to get profit, nothing to talk abojt bankrupt. Bitcoin reached 20K USD in winter, I highly believe some traders spent most of their bitcoins this time. Anyonr had to be crazy to buy bitcoins on 20K for holding and hope of future rise or big profit at that time. Then as we see price felt and felt, so currently is a goos time to buy some bitcoins and as I talked previously, this year was great for profit.

We all know that there are too many people investing in this market, definitely we can see many people get success, it's pretty normal. Alongaside many people get failed, face with bankrupt and be in deep debt. Often, as my observation, almost many people went bankrupt mostly because of lacking knowledge and donít have preparation before joining the market. Besides some people are greedy, they donít have a deep analyst but use all money for it, then afterwards they failed.

The crypto insolvency? They only really go bankrupt when they participate in MLM or ponzi models. This environment is dangerous. You can lose money at any time, I acknowledge that. But bankruptcy is only possible when involved in coinlending or ponzi.

The movement of the crypto market is always faster than any currency. Of course, the moment to seize the opportunity to buy when appropriate is not much. When hesitation takes over your mind. It has passed. I suffered a loss in trading but I did not give up and I never gave up on it.

Youíre saying this without telling us who exactly went bankrupt while trading on cryptocurrencies, was it you or someone you know? I do know that when people are winning in this that there will also be people losing, it happens everywhere even in forex trading and any other kind of investment that is similar to this.

But anyone that allows himself to go bankrupt just like really have a serious problem. If you want to make investment invest with any money that you can afford to lose in case that does happens.

May be its because of previous huge drop of bitcoin where most of the investors are focusing their investment capital in bitcoin alone because they are hoping for a bitcoin to reached $50000 but sad to say that it accidentally drops to $7000 from a previous price high of almost $20000.

The people going bankrupt in this game is the people who are investing money from debt/loans/credit cards into Crypto currencies. You cannot fund Crypto currency investments with debt, because it is a long-term investment and you have to repay that debt monthly. So if you not making a profit every month, you then have to pay that debt out of your own pocket.  ::)

These guys cannot hold onto their investment for a long time and they start losing money, so they sell prematurely and mostly at a lower price than what they bought it at. That is where people are making their mistakes.  :(

That's one of our very own mistake for expecting such huge on those days. But I don't think majority and calling "players" have gone bankrupt. There might be some people who have bankrupt for buying FOMO and bought during when the price of bitcoin hits $20,000 and bought with their life savings. But not all did the same mistake.

The people going bankrupt in this game is the people who are investing money from debt/loans/credit cards into Crypto currencies.
It's a fact, AFAIK there's someone who's asking to loan just to buy crypto so its unfortunate for him.

These kinds of things are good to catch early, but it's hard to know for sure which ones will be worth getting on in the early stages. What you are describing sounds like a robust and secure blockchain that has a great potential for growth. The only risk with ICO's is being able to place trust in the people who are organizing it. Who's to say that they'll deliver in the end?

Anything done in crypto is inevitably risky, no matter what you do. Of course, we can protect ourselves through various measures like risk management, proper research, money management, etc. All players in this game should give themselves a proper trial period and enough education to handle themselves.

It is possible to go bankrupt if you invest in some coins which are worthless or purchased based on pump and dump group or somebody says to buy before you making your own investigations which can be more fruitful.

It would be nice to see some statistics or reports but if the market of cryptocurrencies is similar to forex then most traders are losers, in fact that is inevitable, if someone wins then that means that someone lost money and when you add the transaction fees, the exchange fees and the taxes that you should be paying or that you will pay then this raises the percentage of people that needs to lose their money.

In crypto trading one person's loss is another gain.
Strive to become a good player to avoid loosing out.

It's one of the reality of trading when other losses some people wins... as for those person who lose.some of them didn't give up yet, yet, they start again from their knees to gain again... and that how winner overcome their losses..

No one can still name those players. Who knows who bought that 400 million USD BTC. Like who cares if someone buys it, media won't take too much attention to it unless an enlightening issue goes by.

Anyways, maybe they weren't bankrupt at all. They could've sold most of it but left few cents that  they're gonna stack up soon. I wouldn't call whales for this kind of situation, as players aren't technically the whales. Someone could've been holding BTC for years with their own sight that it is gonna reach this far within years. Although I'm gonna be surprised they can hold it for years judging that a lot of economist, investors etc like Warren Buffett had already said something about cryptos.

I wouldn't say that went completely bankrupt but may have put their money somewhere else like perhaps in stock trading or any other assets that can give them profits. Those who went in and left are those who bought that hype and didn't study the market very well that's why they lost so much money. I referring to those newbie traders who enter the price during bitcoin's bull run last year. But since then, we experience bearish market so clearly then lost already. But I speculate that they are just waiting outside and willing to enter again once the price looks good again.

Lack of confidence and wrong choices can cause losses in investment. That's reality.

Have not confirmed that, but the truth is there are times you lose and times you gain. But then again it depends on the currency used in trading and knowledge about the value of coin used. Going bankrupt in crypto is not really certain, probably except you lose you black chain and codes given. Then such a person must really be careless. You shouldn't go bankrupt in crypto if you know what you want and what you are doing.

Here in crypto you should only invest what you can afford to lose not all the money that they have. They should still keep some of their money for their emergency uses. Here in crypto it is normal to lose because we experience win or lose here and if we win we should reinvest some of it and the others used it for the things that we need to used it. If we lose don't lose hope just learn from that mistake that we encounter so that when we do it again we will not lose again.

There are certain investors who have failed to make any kind of fruitful earning because of investing in crypto currencies and that is just because of their own silly mistakes and lack of knowledge along with poor control over their emotions.

The cryptocurrency market is risky, you should familiarize yourself with this when investing in crypto. You should take time to learn about blockchain knowledge, market fluctuations and crypto-related information to make the right investment. To succeed in this market, you need to have the experience yourself. In addition is a little lucky.

Every asset has its moment of entry and exit. No asset is forever and no investor should keep it forever. The important thing is to keep up with the market oscillations and take advantage of the buying and selling opportunities. In my understanding, those players who are gone are waiting for a new moment.

On most cases those who just engage their selves into crypto because they are just being hyped or do being told by someone then they are most likely the ones who lose up money easily but even though there are still experienced investors or traders who are still into this situation. If theres someone who gains then there would be definitely someone who lose up money in exchange. Dont invest something more than that you fear to lose.. so invest the money which you have some extra and always do research before investing :)

There is always a big risk specially when trading bitcoins and altcoins, but when it comes in choosing your trading exchange select the one that has been approved by SEC(securities exchange commission) that's only my opinion.
Yeah sometimes the rule "dont invest more than you can't afford to lose" is a rule that you must follow. because I think most users, traders, and investors don't use financial management for investment or trading, so sometimes they use all their money for investment and when they lose, they can just bankrupt

Yes, and this is why it turned into a virus. That major hype caused people to jump into it without thinking about what they were doing. I've spoken to lots of people who bought bitcoin near the peak last winter. These people have no idea about trading, about technical levels, about finance in general. They just heard from their cousin or friend or taxi driver about a pot of gold and ran to the end of the rainbow only to find it was already overturned and looted. No wonder the market crashed so quickly.

I'm hoping confidence rebuilds, but in a more calm and rational manner so we see some longevity.

Is the term "bankruptcy" in cryptocurrency not at all slightly ironic?

Also this sounds like a ridiculous statement to make, seeing as people can hide/move their crypto at the drop of a hat.

Don't get me wrong, 2018 has been a diabolical year for many in crypto, but with the right strategies there are many ways to make money.

Often looking at ICOs with a genuine use case and a token with existing utility value is a safe and easy long-term investment. If the token has utility that strengthens it's reputation with regulators and if it has an existing business or platform to slot in to then it is bound to increase in value in the long term.

Anyone going "bankrupt" in crypto right now is not being patient. Identify the solid projects and grow your portfolio one clever investment at a time.

Well, they know the risk but we don't really know how many of them did really go bankrupt. The risk on investing on this market is just next to gambling so people should not go all in and feel  that they already won a jackpot. But I don't think that those who profited already left because cryptocurrencies are the only market that can give so much reward they could not get from anywhere.

Investing blindly and without knowledge is extremely dangerous and failure results are understandable. Never invest without really understanding the project that you are involved in. I believe that cryptocurrency will grow very strongly in the near future and the opportunities for investors remain very open.

In any market, it's simple rule that if one is winning means someone is loosing. So it will be wrong to say that just crypto. its in every market. And also instead of going all in for one crypto is not a good idea. Always try to distribute and maintain a versatile portfolio. I have lost in the starting and was quite depressed. But luckily got some information from here and there and started to work on the basis of charts and graphs.[Always check the credibility of the crypto in which you are investing.]

That's why you can read everywhere regarding cryptocurrency "Never invest more than you can afford to lose".  Crypto is still in early stage and projects needs to establish themselves so when bear takes control people will quick dump the token they have because of uncertainty and to protect their investment and who did not get out will suffer and had to thrive until bull returns.  Who cannot afford to run on losses will definitely get bankrupt.

I don't think the term bankrupt in investment, if the market falls, investors simply hold it longer, because to sell and wait for the market to recover will require a long time after a big dump like this. I have a hard time believing this. I'm sure some of them have gone bankrupt, but this must be for reasons other than their investing. Has any big cryptocurrency actually lost all of it's value? Not that I know of. Therefore, even if they lost a lot of money, they shouldn't be bankrupt. They must have to do with their expenses. If they spend more than they make, no matter how much they make, they may eventually need to declare bankruptcy. The only other option I can think of would be hackers. If you get hacked, you could potentially loose all your cryptocurrency. In that case, I could see a person going bankrupt.

The main reasons for that are investing without enough knowledge and experiences, not enough information, too much eager to get quick profit, lack of investing strategy and trying to recover loss quickly getting into biger losses.
Many investors are not aware of the risk they are taking and they overestimate their possibilities, it could be dangerous combination.

Yeah in cryptocurrency there are over 80% people who have gone bankrupt but they are personally responsible for them. Either they have invested in a wrong time, the coin they have invested may be a wrong choice at that time or they may have not recognized the time to withdraw their funds and realize the profit needed.

A good cryptocurrency platform/exchange wouldnít go bankrupt easily just like that, itís only all these new exchangers with no plans and most of them are scammers using bankruptcy as a way to escape with their plans. I would be happy if you mention any cryptocurrency exchange that went bankrupt, it will never be a reliable one, trust me. this is a very important step before we decide to invest in several types of coins, do research first on each coin that we will invest so as not to suffer losses in the future because the coins we choose cannot last for a long time

You never lose unless you sell. Well, I guess, the reason why they've gone bankrupt is that they sold...in a panic. In this business, emotion has no place. You need to stay emotionally mollified, despite the swings and sways. And when entering this business, always remember the golden rule of investment: Don't invest any amount you can't stand to lose. Be sure that whatever you put in here is not essential to your daily life and operations, so that you won't end up a total loser. You can START SMALL and play the market wisely and PATIENTLY, so that you won't be one of those bankrupt minnows.

Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt
As I said in this year's new futures market
Such speculation has already allowed many former winners to Departure .

Probably the New Comers who just heard the boom of Crypto-currency and then hopped in. They followed some other traders who were preaching "HODL, the market will rise soon regardless the fall".
The cryptocurrency market has lost nearly 50% of its value since its peak of US$840 billion in early January 2018, yet believers are advising to ďhodlĒ despite the dramatic drop.

In economics and decision theory, this approach can be explained by the loss aversion phenomenon which refers to peopleís tendency to prefer avoiding losses to acquiring equivalent gains: it is better to not lose US$5 than to find US$5.
The prospect theory too describes well the mindset of cryptocurrencyís most fervent believers. Basically, the idea is that people value gains and losses differently, and, as such, will base decisions on perceived gains rather than perceived losses. According to prospect theory, losses have more emotional impact than an equivalent amount of gains.

If they have at least some kind of cryptocurrency, it can't be argued that they went bankrupt. Just now, the price of the currency has decreased and, accordingly, the value of the cryptocurrency portfolio has decreased. But this is a temporary situation. As soon as the market begins to recover everything will fall into place. So don't rush to write down all in bankrupt, be patient.

This is no surprise at all. Many have gone bankrupt and many will.
The lack of knowledge in all areas leads to failure. Electronic money, too, should be equipped with the platform to conquer the market. According to this article is conjecture. Because professional investors are flexible in doing so, it is difficult to fail. When the market fluctuates, they move BTC to USD quickly. Usage is very smart.

Well even professional investors might also consider losing a lot. The FOMO habit that they apply upon themselves becomes an indicator that they're simply brought by emotions that easily. I had never heard that much investors that had panicked but I wonder how would these professional and whales manipulate the market when they do panic.

Agree with this one, many people who just enter the crypto world without basic skills about investing on project dont know how to pick ICOs. When they saw good return in a project they immediately put their money in that project without doing some research, they only lost their money at the end. That's why when you have a friend that just join the crypto world you should guide them to start until he can take care of him self.

You simply throw around some random statements that are not backed by any figures. And hope that someone is scared enough to be affected by them. If I could find a detailed report or statistics attached to your post, then I might even start believing you a bit. For now, I beg to differ. Learn from mistakes and find a useful experience to those who win this game. Grow up time to time and never make excuses when you made a mistakes and move on of course.

Knowledge is all that is needed in this space and luck can only be applicable to how far what you are holding ends up going in a short possible amount of time.

For instance, some coins or tokens can end up giving as much as x10 or even more, while some can end up giving way less than you would have thought, but it is just part of the game of not knowing what the future holds for any coin. The main reason why so many have gone bankrupt is just misinformation and the wrong mindset they have placed themselves in before investing into the market.

Well, the loss simply works for those who are not knowledgeable enough to know how to make market decisions. The main reason why a lot of new investors which I would rather prefer not to call players have gone bankrupt is because they were not knowledgeable enough to even be called an investor in the first place. So many got greedy, some got loan and bought at the peak only to see the market plummeting, which is the main reason their bankruptcy is simply their own fault.

That would be hard to say though considering the market can do as it pleases, but I still tend to understand it is normal to see the market go lower and consolidate for a while before even attempting to switch trends at all. 2 - 3 years may be a very long time before it starts recovering, considering as well that things tend to go faster these days both in downtrend and uptrend as the market keeps maturing, and would be hard to start judging from how the past occurred.
You may find that improper management must be the reason if you go and study with them. I am sure all people cannot manage a crypto venture but most people are not ready to understand this face but keep investing into random ICOs too.

Practically, I would even say only those who are greedy and wanted to make some quick money overnight are those who would have ended up going bankrupt. It is funny how last year, so many people were going on credit to purchase into the crypto world, some put in all their life savings, and some borrowed from friends and families all in the name of getting rich overnight, without even understanding what the main idea of the future of what they are investing in is all about until it is too late.
Some eventually end up consoling themselves with patience and finding a way to retrace but for those who went in so deep to the level of borrowing, then they really got what they asked for with no one to blame but themselves.

I will say it is easier and many probably agree with me, the market is new as it behaves tomorrow very few people know, so we copy experience learn to gain skills, and all the more we invest only what is not terrible to lose (do not run to banks for loans) !! just think when to enter the market, there are so-called entry points - for example, now is the time

The dump last 2017 made a huge difference on crypto world particularly crypto users. Many investors also dump their coins and panic sell. This was the reason of the bankruptcy you were talking about. The sad part is that, those people who are into it also lose faith investing. Lets understand that the market is just normal and you are not lost if you dont sell at a lower price.
completely agree - until you sold nothing lost, or you are a speculator (instantly arrived) .. or an investor .. but I repeat the market has rules - (for example the entry point, or in simple words - the eternal growth simply can not be !!

The financial market is very cruel. If someone makes a profit, there will be someone losing money, but most bankrupt players are greedy!
greed - as they say in the proverb - the cause of poverty, I agree .. there really is a market, ie someone buys and who sells something ... if bought expensive, sell when more expensive, and this can happen only in 2 cases when time has passed and the project has gained momentum, or when the market is up, and push up

Almost no cryptocurrency company will go bankrupt, even if it is, then bankrupt because it is a fraudulent project, but I believe many players are bankrupt because of investment coins!

Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt
As I said in this year's new futures market
Such speculation has already allowed many former winners to Departure .
Who and who exactly are you talking about? if there is anyone going bankrupt here youíre the one cause I havenít gone bankrupt trading cryptocurrency. Ever since I started reading crypto I never lost much, just a little and I keep on making huge profit from time to time. Maybe you were Hodling and was less concerned. Try to cut your loss and if youíre going for trading then donít go all in and use the scalping method.

Greed is such a worst thing that destroyed many people. Bitcoin investment is full of risks and you can earn or lose money in seconds. A greedy person never makes money because when the price grows he waits for more growth and suddenly the price falls and he gain nothing. They lose their investment and gone bankrupt due to their greed and impatience.

Why they gone bankrupt because they cannot wait for good times and take wrong decisions and lose their money. Cryptocurrency investment is for long time and an investors needs two thing before investment in cryptocurrency, one is patience and other is courage to bear the loss due to fall in the price. if you have these two then you will never be bankrupt.

if you draw conclusions and comparisons, maybe only 25% of people will experience losses due to cryptocurrency and that is because of his carelessness, he who does not know how to trade properly and properly, makes some traders go bankrupt.

Not just that, some users cant stand seeing the price drastically decreasing thus they tend to panic sell and chose to cut losses. For them bear market seems not going to end sooner and lots of negativity affect their decision to hold. Those who buy in bull market are the ones who become bankrupt if they already sell but if you're still holding your coins for the hope it can increase again then there's still a chance, market is unpredicted and can change unexpectedly who knows we might see the bull run again.

The point is traders and investors must have a strategy so that they avoid large losses that lead to bankruptcy, price changes can change 360 degrees and are not in accordance with your expectations, it's natural in crypto investment, if you don't have an exit plan and strategy of course it can harming you even makes you bankrupt

Everyone who bought the coins at the higher price will always face this situation in the market. Due to a decrease in the price of Bitcoin, ETH and other altcoin are affecting a lot about people bankrupt. Of course, sometimes it is a situation we have to face for market fluctuation.

Which players are you talking about, do you mean exchangers or do you mean investors? If you mean individuals, then that person must be crazy. You can never go bankrupt while investing in cryptocurrency unless you invested all the money in your bank account, and doing so will make you a foolish man. As for exchangers, it does happen, lots of them has gone bankrupt while some are just scammers.

You have to get whatever you are doing right in order to perform excellently well in it. As far as I have seen, the cryptocurrency player who have always played by the rules have made good money. Few player may have lost money for one reason or another but many have also made good money.

Playing with cryptocurrency is more dangerous than holding it, IMO. There will be time that you may be making a wrong decision while you are playing your crypto assets in the cost of your own crypto assets too. So it's better to hold your crypto and add more when opportunity arrives than playing with it and put it in jeopardy.

That is the risk that must be faced, so with the choices you take, then you are ready to accept the risk of defeat. There are many meanings of cryptocurrency players, so if you mean that as a trader, both of them will have a variety of advantages when compared to crypto holders or investing. But so far I see traders will get a good profit too well in a short time, while investing takes a long time to get a good profit, it is an option and you are free to choose.

its still the same . whether you actively trading it or hodling it alone passivey , both activity have a risk and can still lead to loosing due to the effect of market volatility .

yes there are times that we make poor decision but that is only normal and part of the game because we are only humans , we are not perfect . if we loose , we must instantly move on and try again so that we dont feel stress and depress.

as i said earlier , even if you dont play it actively , you are still prone to risk but hodling is more better than trading  .

Suffered heavy losses only those who had no experience in cryptocurrencies, beginners. Fascinated by the news trend about the growth of cryptocurrencies, they rushed to buy bitcoins at the end of 2017. It's human psychology.

Am I reading the right topic? as far as I know everyday the community investors are increasing although, there are some crying tears because they've loss a lot of money, but not the word of bankrupt. Even though there is a bad side in crypto, where most of the community got disappointed and frustrated but they still continuing investing in crypto for believing that they can recover and they knew it was a lesson learned according to them.
