There are many factors that you should look in a cryptocurrency before investing in it. Some of these are does the coin has real world use cases, is the dev team competent to develop the coin, does the coin has an active community. All these factors are very important for the success of a coin.

What actually makes an ico worth investing into are quite several.  The team is one of the things you should look out for. Solid team are always a good factor to determine a quality ico.

Check their social media channels as well to know how many people are on their social media channels as well.

There are many points or features which might be looked for finding the right cryptocurrency before you invest your hard-earned money and they are like Researching about their base concept on which the whole project is depending on, find out their Management Team and also their support team, research about their company's background and the project plan and their upcoming plans through their whitepapers, research how well their marketing strategy would bring investors from major social media platforms and how they are going to manage their bounty, airdrops and the total distribution.

By this way you can easily find the right project for your investment.

I am a fan to coins that grow steadily, instead of a pump and dump coin. I usually look into the historical data of every coin i intend investing, so as to know the nature of the coin. Aside this, there are other factors i consider. One of which is how active the team of coin after listing is, because updates are very essential for the continuous success and growth of the coin and project. I don't also buy along the trend, i buy at some designated points.

Care needs to be taken when investing into any token or coin. There are lots of cryptocurrencies, but not all worth investing in. In order for you not to lose your money. There are lots of factors that need yo be considered. Among these factors is the team. How effective, trustworthy and active are the team members. You need to also look into the roadmap, is it duly followed? You have to consider the trend, right from the lunch of the project till date, how progressive it's been.

I believe that one of the most important factors is a strong team, and at the same time, it must be motivated, and the idea of ​​the project should be at the head! If the idea is cool, then a strong team will try to implement it

In my opinion, coin features/specs such as low supply, privacy-oriented and quantum-resistant are what to look for in a coin as a long-term investment. Excellent track record of project team members and great supporters/communities are also an important factors, not to mentioned the usefulness of the coin in solving real world problem.

If you're going to invest in any cryptocurrency, I think you should take a look at project behind it. Beside don't forget to check trading volume, marketcap. IMO, I think the most important thing is exchange listing, you should check to see which exchange these cryptocurrencies were listed on. It'll be different when the same cryptocurrency listed on different exchange :).

You must try to understand what kind of feature that will be needed by the community or it will be adopted fordaily purpose. That will give the more possibility by the application or prpduct to get the more adoption by the crypto community.

You must try to understand what kind of features the community will need or be used on a daily basis. Get a thorough understanding of the site, white paper and a reputable and experienced team. That was my thought.

Consider their purpose, consider the practical applicability of that project. The team is also very important.
Should you read their whitepaper carefully to see if it is worth your investment? That is one of the important steps to make your own decision.

A token is considered good, if it has the desire come from the community - that is the most important thing. No matter how good a roadmap, whitepaper or technology, if not accepted by the community, its value is not appreciated.

It should be relevant and to solve a need. If a token is out to do a certain purpose, whether a good team or not, the token will eventually moon. This is what I believe because road map helps if followed.

So really you need to take everything into small things because you always can not look at certain information and because of this you will lose your money!

Good tokens at the moment very little need to carefully select projects and also analyze their possible growth and only then you will be able to earn in this market

They already mentioned a lot but for me, a good coin/ token to invest with from a project that are created by people who have a lot of experience in the blockchain, IT, marketing and community management.

Before investing in crypto currency you need to learn how it works. Also you must be patient and not invest only those money that you are not afraid to lose.

The most important thing to consider when investing in crypto currency, you need to buy only during the fallen prices.

The most important thing to look out for in a token is the real world usage of the token if the token can't be used in the real world then the token isn't worth it to invest in, if it have features that are quiet useful in daily life or it solves any problem then the token is worth investing in. And most of the token ICO that are being launched now are just waste but the real deals were made during 2015 when a few but good projects were usually crowd funded.

Good coins should be popular and relatively stable to dumps and drawdowns. If the price is too volatile, then this does not mean a good profit opportunity.

Value of the token
Listed in exchanges

The feature of the token can be  determine by the project, and when the coin is more valuable and it's also available on exchange listed with the ico price or over the price
