Title: [13-07-2018] Scammers to Leak Users Masturbation Vids Demands Bitcoin Ransom
Post by: bitzamp.com on July 13, 2018, 05:16:35 PM
It seems the cryptocurrency community is under threat of a new form of crypto blackmail tactic, always there is something or someone lurking in the depths ready to steal your hard hodl’d crypto.

Cornell University computer science professor Emin Gün Sirer has shared an email that seems to take advantage of filtered passwords to swindle Bitcoin out of unsuspecting victims, demanding they pay a ransom.

Taking all precautions, if you receive such an email it would be wise to ignore it and don’t respond to it regardless of recognizing the password shown it can’t be stressed enough that by simply receiving it.

Though it’s quite not clear how many users have been affected so far a review revealed that the Bitcoin address included in the blackmail email appears to have received over..

Well this thing would suck for most people who do loves to watch porn and masturbate in front of their pc. Hackers nowadays can really possibly remote your own desktop but the question is,are these threats are valid or true? I havent check out on the address being given on the email if theres someone who did paid up that ransom.
For those people who do love to watch porn and masturbate then be careful.

@stomachgrowls. I do not know what's more revulsive, the hackers blackmailing the people who love to watch porn and masurbate, the people who love to watch the people who love to watch porn and masturbate, the people who love to watch porn and masurbate, or the people who masturbate in the porn videos.

Also, why did Emin Gun Sirer receive this email? hehehe

We saw a similar situation in the Black Mirror TV Series. Internet is really a very dangerous place, so we need to be very cautious in terms of security. Even slightest mistake can cause serious damage.

Pah. Anyone sent a vid of me tugging away and grunting would be so appalled they'd delete it before they got hot under the collar. I'd just ask for royalties instead if goes public, and the T shirt rights.

People are too dumb to realize that everything they do on the internet can lead to their own downfall.

What these specific cases are good for is that they give people a firm wake-up call to stop being a retard and for once respect your privacy and don't do desperate shit that people (whoever they are) can use against you.

What retarded fool wanks and record that on video? I don't feel sorry for any of the people that were a victim of this. Let it be an expensive lesson that will make you think twice before you ever do such a thing again.

You obviously have not watched the live social video streaming sites like, Periscope where people have 1on1 private wanking sessions in front of each other or where they broadcast that to people all over the world. You get pretty messed up people out there or they are just horny enough to do that in public.

It is one thing, giving your consent to do this, but blackmailing someone with stolen videos is a criminal offence.  >:(

I'm glad that I can wholeheartedly assure you that I have not seen any wanking sessions.  :D

If you are horny you just stick to person to person wanking sessions, not let the whole world see how perverse you are. I seriously believe that there fundamentally is something wrong with these people.

They are messed up. It has been proven that people desperately looking for this sort of large scale attention have problems in their personal lives which has been brewing long enough to make them do all this.

but seriously, who would pay for that video not to be leaked is missing half of a brain
unless you are some celebrity,of course, but thats a whole different story, this should be the least of your problems

Couldn't have said it better. Either that or I become a victim and I publish a Bitcoin address to get a neverending stream of donations from sympathisers, fans, crazy people. What's Cornell doing wasting its time on this haha.

People should just try sending that Bitcoin ransom, track down the "hacker" when they sell/liquidate. No quicker way these days to get your wallet blacklisted. Getting old, and exchanges are all on the lookout.

Well, every single one of us here is only a PM away to arrange something.

I have no sympathy for anyone who broadcasts themselves at it and is then shocked. Of course someone is going to record it.

If you're hacked and filmed while touching yourself intimately, and it bothers you, why didn't you have a bit of tape over your webcam? People should be doing that automatically for non horny security reasons too.

I think these videos will anyway end up on the internet, whether those who got hacked pay the ransom or not. I think the best strategy is to ignore the message and not pay up. If you have lover, tell him/her the details so that this doesn't derail your relationship if and when the videos get leaked.

I think you are too quick to judge. Some of these people do not want to risk going out and having sex with prostitutes and they do not have a partner. So they are human too and they want some excitement, so they turn to the internet video streaming sites. The unfortunate side of this is that many of these sessions are recorded without the consent of the parties involved and placed on the internet or used for bribes in this case.

Loneliness and hornyness can get you into trouble.  ::)

It's painfully obvious this is a likelihood. If you really want to wank at a stranger from afar arrange to meet them in a public toilet and stare at each other through telescopes poked through the wall.

When it comes to willy wiggling better to stay full analogue.

Nah, I think this is exactly the type of scenario that people want to avoid. Most of the people doing these types of interactions in public toilets gets the shit kicked out of them and then raped and robbed or arrested by the Police for public indecency or something worst.  ::)

The computer give them a false sense of security, because they are doing this from the safety of their home. I think the best option for this is to simply go out and find the lid for your pot and to do this in a loving relationship. We have not even touched on the diseases that people pick up in these public toilets. <used condoms and bodily fluid all over the place> ^yuk^

Don't you guys know how this scam works? There are no videos, and they don't have access to your webcam. It's just a lie to trick gullible people into handing over their money. Protip: actual blackmailers always send their victims a copy of the embarrassing footage, to prove they really have it.

Many people don't want a loving relationship. Many others wouldn't know how to get one even if they wanted one. Even if they were in one they might continue doing stuff like this.

And I've had some of the most joyous moments of my life in public toilets. Granted, that was from having a massive shit or emptying my bladder when it was bursting, but they are a canvas and everyone paints something different on them.

If you knowingly turn a camera on yourself you're exposed to billions of people many of whom may try to make your life worse.

Exactly.  Millions of these types of blackmail emails are sent out every day all over the world, yet trash gutter press outlets like bitzamp seem to think that it's something new & sensationalise it to the hilt with FUD headlines in a cheap attempt at clickbait.

Just when I think that these junk outlets have reached rock bottom, they go further into the sewer. It's getting to the point where reading the "press" section is actually embarrassing & written by bored 10 year olds with nothing better to do.

Jeez..... ::)

Even if you are just a ordinary person with an ordinary life. One video would possibly mess up your entire life specially when those people known to you will able to see such video. Even we arent celebrities we would really be forced to pay up.

This is a true blackmailer would do not just saying things that they do have blah blah blah and pay up an amount to keep it secret.
They do it directly with just a glimpse of a vid or just a gif or 5 seconds preview and it would be just enough for you to recognize if its real or not.

If only all people are taught or even provide themselves some proper internet security they wouldn't be victimatized by these kinds of threats. This only exists because people allow them to happen the best thing to really do is nothing as even if he is bluffing we just know that playing victim will only feed them to do more. I would suggest to other people that they need to start covering their webcams even if you don't do anything obscene this is one simple step for not having these kinds of problem. Also installing an Anti-Virus will be a big help for  leaning up malware in your computer.

Buzz words such as “masturbation” and “scammers can really attract a lot. I don’t see why there should be much attention over it. Anything that can generate publicity is used by these press outlets.

I’d have to agree that the retrieval of masturbation videos were kind of sketchy for me. Even if they were really great hackers, I don’t think that the videos really existed. These victims must be really guilty and were most probably panicking if they fell for this bluff. Most of the time, people make reckless decisions out of their desperation to protect their image and reputation.

That's pretty basic, but what people don't pay attention to are microphones in their notebooks. If I cover your eyes you can still hear me, and that's just as bad in my opinion. Other than that, this article is a bit too sensational as others pointed out as well -- there hasn't really been a case where people have actually been confronted with the actual content. It's just an attempt to make a few people so afraid that they will think it's real, because there are enough that do this sort of shit online for real. We just have to accept that this happens and it technically isn't even new -- this has been going on for 10 years where people believing it were paying through western union....

Now that was Funny.  ;D

The best solution will be to cover the camera while you are surfing porn and masturbating and to stay away from the cam sessions that might ruin your life. Masturbation is only necessary, when you do not have someone for sexual intercourse and your Teddy bear does not count. ^lol^

It would be great if the camera could have been turned on the people who are exploiting people. Any white hats out there, that are up to it, to help these people?

Haha That troll inside of me would feel satisfied if even one person decided to masturbate to that leaked video of myself. Would you guys say that having your private parts exposed in the Internet could increase your chances of getting laid? I'd certainly try to think of all possibilities before I pay that guy as this could turn into a double loss :D
Mark Zuckerberg was wise to cover his cameras years ago. He looks like a person that the author of this scam email would call "a man of fine taste". Probably some anime porn lover. https://i.stack.imgur.com/vqkDU.png
