Post by: MoonIsBlue on July 18, 2018, 12:44:57 PM There are desktop wallets like Parity and Jaxx you can use and there's also a browser wallet, just follow the steps on www.myetherwallet.com or google Jaxx or Parity and get a wallet from there. Jaxx would probably be the best option in case you're looking for a desktop wallet. Parity has had some incidents in the past.

I'd suggest that to skip myetherwallet or mycrypto entirely and a) buy a hardwarewallet, like metioned above or b) have a look at MetaMask. Using myetherwallet is just too risky for someone who is new to the space because there are scamming sites all over the place.
