https://sites.google.com/site/thebitcoinagency/_/rsrc/1387261009596/patriotcoin/PatriotCoin2.png?height=400&width=400

The AltCoin that is sweeping across America!

The PatriotCoin is the digital currency that's taking the hearts of Patriots all over America!

It’s time to take back the power for the American people with our own De-centralized Virtual Currency!

PatriotCoin has already been launched to general public! (Jan. 2014)

This is the FIRST thread about it.

PatriotCoin has been adopted by many Patriotic Groups in America as well as a Native Tribe has taken interest as well.
The coin was originally designed to help American's take back their financial freedom.

Information about PatriotCoin (USA):

With the American Dollar (USD) based on the United States Stock Market, it's more unstable than ever. With the United States Stock Market on the lower end, people have began
questioning how strong the United States Dollar really is. People are seeking alternate forms of currencies, including turning to digital currencies, as the value of the dollar has decreased.

This is how/why PatriotCoin was born and takes it's part. The PatriotCoin is a decentralized digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world.
With making the Patriot Coin decentralized, it's not controllednor governed by a form of Government or Country.

That PatriotCoin is owned by the ones who participate in the currency, "We The People"!

PatriotCoin is an alternative form of currency the American people can utilize along with the Dollar (USD).

It's time for the American people to have their financial freedom back!

Thank you for your concern.
We have been in touch with Bkav, as we have ran MANY antiviruses on our network, they are listing it as a virus because of the P2P networking.
All other test results have come back with a negative result.

It is Scrypt.

POOLs?

Title: Re: PatriotCoin (USA)
Post by: passionsurf on February 17, 2014, 06:34:01 AM
I don't get it, when I set the rpcport=9335, then cgminer says: "Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid"
And when I set the rpcport=9527 (like recommended above), I get all rejected shares. What am I doing wrong?

Here's my .conf file:

rpcallowip=LocalHost
rpcuser=username1
rpcpassword=password1
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
gen=1
rpcport=9335
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=71.86.50.212:9335
addnode=192.168.1.106
addnode=184.1.139.178
addnode=147.69.18.78:9335
addnode=173.64.68.108:9335

--------
And my .bat file:

c:\minerg\cgminer --scrypt -o 127.0.0.1:9335 -u username1 -p password1 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 20 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --shaders 2048  --lookup-gap 2

How many coins per block?  What's the block time?  When does the block reward decrease?

Op you should put these in the first post.

PROTIP: P2Port should be 1776.

I had the same issue yesterday when I was mining with my block erupter, I was under the impression that it was not scrypt, but if you were getting the same problem using scrypt.  I have to wonder,  I aswell was not able to get any pool data when using port 9335,  that is why I use port 9336.  The diff went up so far today I haven't got a block yet since putting --scrypt, so we'll see.

How awesome!
It was submitted for port 1776, but it only worked for a few. So the port was advised to use and, that seemed like the majority of the users could use was 9335, kept it the same.

Ps.
I have received a few emails in regards to the response time on this forum..... I posted the source on github since it wasn't previously provided. https://github.com/siameze/patriotcoin I also have a block explorer up for testing and collaboration, please PM for the details. All working fine on Ubuntu.
