Post by: larsbalzak on July 18, 2018, 03:34:05 PM
The Alex Jones Channel

''Are people actually buying bitcoins for $200??!!! Even for $100?!!! WHO THE FUCK ARE THESE NUTS???? REMOVE THEM FROM THEIR MONEY IMMEDIATELLY< BEFORE THEY HURT SOMEONE. Meanwhile, my stack of gold and silver coins haven't changed one bit since I bought them! What does a bitcoin look like again? Can anyone tell me- I've never seen one. What does a 1oz bitcoin look like?''

I wish I knew about bitcoin much earlier...

Your first mistake is reading YouTube comments. Your second mistake is watching anything to do with the lunatic that is Alex Jones. Combine the two together and you will fall down a rabbit hole of stupidity.

OP, you forgot to add the part where alex jones then tries to sell you thyroid aiding liquid.

stuff that if your body doesnt need it, your body pee's it into a toilet in 24 hours.. basically he's selling a product that end up flushed away the next day and cant be held onto or utilised by your body longterm and has no resell value once sold.
..oh and those that do have thyroid issues, have thyroid issues due to the body not wanting/able to convert iodine. thus you could drink litres of it and your body still just pee's it out

.. which sums up pretty much how little he knows about a good investment

Why did you not know about it? Language barrier? Because it has been mainstream news since 2011 and all over the English speaking internet on various forums, reddit, slashdot, hacker news, ect.

I am pretty sure that if you scan through the entire collection of Youtube comments from the beginning of its history, you will find absolutely nothing of value. The only people who take the time to post Youtube comments are either trolls, or luddites who have just worked out how to use a computer. Never pay attention to anything said in a YT comment because 99% of it is intended to deceive, troll or annoy.

Why even bother going through those comments? Obviously they were the ones who "though" they were too late to invest on bitcoin when the price reached $200. As a result they started to regret and naturally started to spread hate against bitcoin. They are probably more mad now seeing the price. Anyways instead of saying "I wish....", start investing now and stop regretting.

I have no idea. I first read about it in the year 2016 when bitcoin was around $600 price but I thought it was already expensive and difficult to understand. Now I know it's the future, unfortunetaly I'm a little bit late...

And actually, the third was starting a non-thread about something somebody posted 5 years ago....

I think this was a comment on a video, not something posted by Alex Jones.
Google didn't help me searching for it so...the OP might help clear things up.

Either way, searching for bitcoin and Alex Jones I've stumbled upon these:

1:
Quote
Alex Jones: Is Bitcoin a conspiracy to bring in a cashless society? Does it represent the mark of the beast?
2:
Quote
Alex Jones’ Infowars Accepting Bitcoins

Somebody did change his opinions pretty fast  ;D

Lol!! These kindnof comments from past actually gives me goosebumps! When I started in this market, Bitcoin's price was at 450 USD and ETH didn't exist. I actually had these nice opportunities to score hundreds of bitcoins that time and I didn't buy due to uncertainity about the future of these currencies.

Now when I look back at the past. I realize the GOD has actually given me an opportunity to become a millionaire within shortest period of time. The window is still there, but became costlier with time!

no, people rarely change their minds. and since most of those who have been furiously telling others not-to-buy bitcoin have been buying bitcoin themselves all this time i'd say specially people like this never change their mind!
and the internet is filled with them! it doesn't matter what the price is, how the market situation is,... they always discourage others from buying bitcoin. why? more bitcoin for them if they can convince even 1 person not to invest. it is like delaying the inevitable rise to have more time to accumulate. :P

sorry let me clarify............ Intelligent people change their mind with increasing data/information about given subject.

The people you talk of aren't even on my radar or thinking.

if we start talking about these nut jobs then we will be talking until the end of time. they are mostly newbies with little amount of money and sometimes no understanding of how the market works so they think if they spread some bullshit on the internet like on forums, social media platforms,... they can FUD bitcoin down so that they can buy it and make a tiny amount of profit when they sell it again after the recovery. it is more like a disease really! if they spend half the time they spend online on trading instead, they can make a lot more profit...

A vivid example of how people become victims of the stupidity of other not very intelligent people. When you focus on what the fool says and believe it, you become the same. You look at too much Youtube.

It's the mind of people who can't see opportunities. Speaking without thinking first, if only at that moment I already know bitcoin, will be very fun because I like the new opportunities. for me Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are new opportunities that must be developed :)

are you sure that this comment was from 2013? because back then price didn't really last at $200 really for the idiots like this guy you are quoting to make comments about it. price was practically passing through $200 towards $1200 and before that it stayed around $80-$100 as the bottom aka accumulation phase/

i think this type of comment, specially because of the price mentioned in it belonged to 2 years after, meaning 2015 where we were at the bottom at $200 and idiots like that guy were bullshitting around the internet :D

I don't think that Alex Jones is one of those really intelligent people.
He is good at manipulation and milking his userbase with some really weird potions that even the guys from Blizzard haven't thought about, but beyond that....nothing

Probably he didn't change his mind, I think it was more like...wait!!  another source of income.
I doubt he gives a damn about what bitcoin represents.

Alex Jones is just a loser who wants to buy bitcoin at cheap prices by making silly statements like above, and many more like that. I hope you are not affected by him.

Many people have a similar experience towards bitcoin. If I knew bitcoin price will reach 20,000 USD, Even I would buy bitcoin. but only some people believed in bitcoin. we call them early believers. the lucky ones.

By and large, all transactions related to bitcoin are in China. In 2013, bitcoin cost $ 75. Perhaps then it could still be bought for $ 100-200. But then it skyrocketed to $ 1,200 and was banned from China in China, bitcoin was considered an official currency (it fell to $ 700).
In any case, you can consider that it is better to invest on the initial stage when there is a risk to receive money or to remain without them. And now the price is high and if you continue to invest and wait a couple of years then try to withdraw money.

Some comments from the past, just for fun:

''Bitcoin has as much intrinsic value as the points dispensed by a pinball machine.''

''Bitcoin is a complete scam, its like The Emperors New Clothes. Everyone loves it but it doesn't exist.''

''If I can't hold it in my hand, and know it has value then I don't want to use it as currency at all.''

''If I can't hold it in my hand then it is not money. If I have to rely on a device to get my "money", it isn't money. Silver and Gold, silver and gold, silver and gold decoratioooooonnsss on every hand of mine....''

''IM OLD FASHION I GUESS..I BELIEVE  ..''IF IT'S NOT IN YOUR HAND ITS NOT YOURS''''

''So what's the intrinsic value of Bitcoin? It seems to me there is none.''

''IMO problem with bitcoin is its already too inflated for typical lower middle class people.''

''That stupid shit still exists?''

I bet they're all full of regret now.  ;D

I agree. There are people who easily believe but more who are doubting bitcoin and change their mind when bitcoin gives them hope to earn huge amount. Those who are early on this thing are the lucky ones because they have when the price gets expensive. Those who spread negative thought on bitcoin wanting to earn instant but lose instead.

A loser who wants to ride the popularity on anything that he found on the web. And as @stompix have said, he will try to milk his fan based up to the last drop of their money. But I have to admit that I have a good chuckle about his conspiracy theory,  ;D. But crypto? looks like he is really going to far and I'm sure that sooner or later his fan based will dwindle because of his stupid remarks on bitcoin and crypto in general.

yes they are full of regret now, they are regretting why they didn't spread more FUD and why they couldn't fool more newbies so that they could buy more bitcoin at cheaper prices at those times.
if someone is not heavily involved with buying bitcoin then they wouldn't even bother commenting on it, that would be a total waste of time. it would be like me going around making topics, videos, blog posts, interviews .... about how Pandacoin is a dead coin, or why AnalCoin was a joke :D

Most people like that when the first time they saw a newly discover idea or any kinds. I think that was only normal in some people who have a doubt in the first time they saw this. But in some period of time they change there mind if they saw someone already success in there newly discovery idea the same thing what will happen to this people before.

I heard about bitcoin in 2015 but did not do anything until 2016 and even I did not realize the huge potentials. I joined a lot of these scam sites and lost a ton of money. Now I'm starting from scratch.

just make sure not to make bigger new mistakes.
for example i have seen in the past, in real life, that some people who list the chance to buy bitcoin before were getting to enthusiastic and investing more than they could afford to lose and that meant they lost sleep over it and have been experiencing a lot of stress which finally led to making bad decisions and selling what they have bought because of FUD and a small correction and lost a lot of money. then price went up and their regrets were even more!

You don't blame Bitcoin when the price of $ 100 or $ 200 is therefore useless.

all you need to do is look for Bitcoin with all your heart even though now Bitcoin is priced at around $ 6,000

there are many who make bad comments on bitcoin, I think the crazy ones are those who comment badly, bitcoin is a digital currency, they are not real but they have value.
just as we have God, God is not visible but we believe that he is always protecting us
