During long time we have seen a rumor that Bitcoin will be regulated by U.S central bank. But it's long time has gone. And Bitcoin was also stay long time on bearish. Finally Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell made it clear that, they aren't looking for regulate cryptocurrency. I believe this is the one of great point for become bulls on crypto market. So almost we can expect that very soon we can see bulls run. On the other hand may we will see some more possitive news about Bitcoin.

"Cryptocurrencies aren't big enough to pose a threat" is exactly the conclusion we want to hear from the World's largest regulatory agencies. In fact, the silver lining from the slump we've been enduring all year may be the perception that cryptocurrencies aren't a threat to any existing monetary system.

This news is quiet awesome. But I hope the government will not take back for what it said and hoping that this is not just to make the price of Bitcoin go up temporarily.

Governments always reserve the right to take back what was originally said...that's why governments are good, laws or decisions can change when they are no longer in the interest of the public.

And if Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies begin to take off like they did at the end of 2017, surpassing the $20,000 you can be certain that every government will give it another look. But part of their assessment is not the price per coin but how much activity or turnover is happening. If they see more transaction action within cryptocurrencies rather than domestic currency they'll want a piece of the action, which means taxes.

More proof the government is behind the crypto world.  I think we will see huge things moving forward.  The next bubble getting blown.  Get in now and load up and wait to get paid!!!  We may be early (way early)

I hope there's more news like this to help break the market. it's time to go on the moon .. but the volume will stay that way if the investors or traders still do not increase in number .. it means this is the second difficulty for cryptocurrency, I think everyone would approach and introduction to introduce bitcoin and invest in it

This statement is probably a bit naive. Their announcement that it's "too small to be a priority" and their "support" are two very different things, although it's possible that they're involved, holders, to benefit from any possible growth. National banks just like Wall Street like to place bets!

I hope that they won't take their words back when the market capitalization will skyrocket to an unexpected growth that they never see it coming.

Each state has its own management system. If the US Central Bank states that it will not regulate crypto currency, it does not mean that the US crypto currency will not be regulated. In this state there are a lot of other regulatory bodies such as the SEC and therefore there will be no crypto currency without regulation in this state.

No. How are you drawing that conclusion?

feelingfroggy doesn't say anything about a government creating any crypto market. We're talking about the US Federal Reserve, they didn't even say they were "behind" the crypto world, let alone that they created any crypto market.

At last, some positive news to create a boost in the crypto market. In last six months or so, we have seen a drastic fall in crypto prices which created an uncertainty among the crypto-community. I believe the impact of this news would lay the foundation for stabilized-upward movement in prices which will help the market to grow further.

Really welcoming news to hear the US stance on cryptos. People have been speculating that US might take a hard stance so I'm glad that Powell made it clear and finally announced the good news. Maybe this one could be a good catalyst for the bull runs that we all have been waiting for. So let's see, we slice $7000 and move even further, maybe this news can sustain the price to go and surpass $8000 in the next couple of weeks.

Wow, this is the type of news we are supposed to be hearing every day. this news alone is capable of boasting up the BTC price. my worried is just that they should not wake up one day and have a change of mind

I do not think this is a good news because the network is willing to be regulated somehow. Only then we can recover I suppose.

U.S is the world power so U.S central bank will not just alter a statement that will bring down their prestige. U.S will make sure that proper investigation is done to protect her citizen and a reasonable number of the citizen will also fill comfortable with the regulation before it will be announce.

There has been a lot of good crypto news recently but the price continues to fall from the all time highs.  I'm starting to think we won't see any big price increases until the next halving event.  Right now bitcoin inflation is at about 3% which is high compared to fiat money.

Governments would have a hard time stopping crypto if they wanted, Govs would rather just collect on crypto taxes instead of banning it.

I agree, this statement was been studied well and not just delivered without proper research, U.S as we knew that will do everything if in case there's a need of assistance, if they are not seeing any threat then crypto can go further and it's better for us crypto lovers to enjoy this another great news.

So now the US government is not threatened by bitcoin which is really good news as they will not try to get rid of it now or control it.

I don't really think this is good news. The only fact it states is that crypto market has not been too significant to pose a threat. It only means that the situation has been relatively fine so far, but that doesn't mean they are not going to watch it closely and work on some kind of a Plan B in case the situation is likely to get out of control. Otherwise, there's nothing too positive in it, IMHO.

I am pleased about this message. A regulation by U.S central bank would not be good for the free bitcoin market. They should rather regulate the ICO market. The ICO market is flooded with scammers. But anyway, after all, they leave Bitcoin alone and let him and the market grow. Think it's the best thing I have heard the last few days about Bitcoin.  :)

This is a very good news to the whole cryptocurrency community, this might be a stepping stone towards brighter future with blockchain technology. As we all know, United States is one of the most influential county worldwide and this action by US may inspire other nations to accept crypto as well. Many positive news have came out lately and this might give a boost to the crypto market hopefully.

What do you mean by the good news of not regulating of bitcoin and other crypto? Well in fact that regulation is a great thing for us people who are engaging in cryptocurrencies. And this is the best thing in crypto, it will make it more volatile for us so as for the people around the globe esp the government will not prohibit people in using it.

  The U.S central banks had decided that they are not going to regulate Bitcoin and other crypto's this is highly appreciable and a valuable movement for the other countries that are going to regulate Bitcoin .The originators intention may be to provide a strong currency that should be suitable to operate for the benefit of the global community .Bitcoin is a new form of economy with strong network and specific in character linked with modern technology.

If US is planing to regulate bitcoin than market uptrend is possible because most of crypto currency users exist in the US and if this regulation happen than more investors will be attract for cryptocurrencies. also many other countries will follow US because this is biggest successful county in world.

You would not say that Bitcoin is not regulated, if you look at the way that Coinbase is operating. A lot of people use these

regulated exchanges and the government have full access to those sites and all that information. If you are going to piss away

your financial privacy, then use these centralized services, because you have to adhere to their strict AML/KYC requirements.

I think that they will not regulate cryptocurrencies but they will use hidden control and support of some of them. They cannot calmly pretend that at the moment nothing is happening. It seems to me they are preparing something like electronic dollar, they can use Ethereum or buy a lot of bitcoins at low prices. I’m sure that Federal Reserve plans to be a leader in this area as it was earlier when they hold dollar as a world currency.
