Hi guys, i recently came across this Hydrohen 2Factor Authentication app.How so you find it and your views?

The most common une is Google, simple to use, does not fail and will install in the most common platforms. Anything else can be risky, except perhaps the Microsoft system that is more corporate oriented.

It looks interesting. It slid very well. But how does it relate to the block chain? Do you have more details? Do you want other people to connect to this application?

I think that so good..but for 2Fa security iam always make google 2fa to secure my account..i havent experience to use other 2fa security..just google always i use it..i believe google product..not other to try security 2fa

I only use google auth and authy so far, authy seems better because I can use it on multiple phone and do back up while google auth doesn't let me do that so it's a pain whenever I want to switch my device because I have to remove the authenticator first before applying a new one. I don't use iPhone so I can't comment on that app you are talking about.

Good day. I would like to check that. I've been using Google 2FA App since. Makes my accounts secure. But some actually didn't know they should keep the private keys just in case their gadgets gets lost or damaged. They can use it to retrieve their 2FA on any gadgets. Syncing also changed once IP changes or time and sometimes for no reason it just won't sync. So always back up your 2FA keys. Just a reminder for those who don't know yet.

This is one of new product Hydro team development and promote in present. So you should try it and get back with feedback but for now i recommend Authy and GAuth.

I use Authy. I recommend that if you consume the phone or something else happens you can always restore your account.

Not sure if it is the best 2 factor authenticating app. But why use something new? You know there might be some flaws with new applications (though not sure if the app is new, but never heard of it). Why not stick with google authentication app? It is well known, simple and very user friendly!

Looks ok, but I'm sticking with authy. Never had any problems whatsoever and has always worked for me.

I think use only known ones like google's app, don't push your luck especially when there is something important. 2fa is very important.

Is it available for Android? I actually use Lastpass for my 2fa and I'm very happy with it.

I use the google 2FA authentication app and I haven't had any reason to worry. It was highly recommended to me by people I respect and admire in the crypto market, and I would want to believe that It's a trustworthy app. It is safe, easy and convenient to use.

Hydro, knowing from you, tried for the first time. Looks promising but very new and that lacks the reliability and review. In the time of 2FA apps the google auth, authy, Microsoft Authentication,letpass or Yubico are more good than this app. So, it is undoubtedly not the best app in the market but those are which I stated and used for a long time.

The most popular authentication app among the people using it are Auth, Google Auth, GAuth and Authy. This app can be used in more than one phone and has the option for backup for the user. These are the reason for its popularity in the market among the people.

I think the best option to choose would be hands down Google, which has much experience and knowledge to maintain security with transparency. Anything new takes time to be judged, so wait for it to emerge as a positive 2FA app to consumers before committing to it yourself.

Don't lure with its user interface , go with what other fellow bitcointalk user say "Google" , i know it have not fancy ui like this but it make the job better and secure and also it available on all platform, 

When it comes to 2FA validation app, you should go for google's validation, that is definitely the best out there, no chance of failing. It has the highest user base too. Trying new apps like that can cause trouble for you if you don't really know everything about that.

I agree google is one of the safest 2FA validation authenticator for me  very user friendly and I'm confident it is bug free since google is one of the most respectrd app developer in the internet industry. i dont want to give a try for other developer specially for  not known one I don't want to put risk in my account and wallet as my investment are there.

It is very hard to trust new apps nowadays because of recent scams, however, there is Google 2FA which is the most reliable and  very common and reliable according to the users.

im using google authencticator for the 2FA security code. because most exchanges has a enabled security for this, to make it fully secured you account. must try. it so simple to use.

as per my opinion I think this is a very good application,  2FA is  two factor authentiction which means it provide double security , it make sure that you are creating your account with proper safety , in this sector most of the users  trust on google application but your choice is on you

You should use google 2FA app. It is sucure, easy to use and reliable. It can even work offline.

With respect to my view on authentication apps, the 2FA Authentication App i use is Google Authenticator. I have however seen others recommend "Authy", though i have not tried but i learnt it is also very good.

The 2fa I have been using since mid last year is called Authy. I see it as the best so far because it has an inbuilt feature that backups your keys for you just by enabling this feature with a master password that you have to keep safe. With this master password, at a go, you can retrieve all your backup accounts that you setup on the Authy app in case of a damage, replacement or stolen of device. For the Android OS users, the Authy app is free to download on the PlayStore.

I didn’t hear of this 2fa mobile app and won’t be trying. IMO, it is better to use a mobile app from reputable companies such as Google. I have been using it and no problem until now.

Google Authenticator is the best 2FA App for me so far because it's very easy to use and it has a cool UI and the settings doesn't contain too much options and it isn't messy. So I'll give a 10 rating for Google Authenticator, noo issues so far.

I use authy, i'll recommend it for everyone, it has backup any time any day even if you change your mobile device, you can easily transfer all what you have on the authy to your new device with just simple backup if you so remember the password to the authy. It's super and user friendly.

Same with you brother. I do think google authentication application is very reliable and yet very easy to be used. Since I do think it's safe, all of my emails are saved in it also my accounts. But I don't know if apple user's or mac trusts google same way we do.

Security is the most important thing. So I think it will be best if we use Google authentication app for these things. You can try other apps but keep the security thing in mind.

For me, the best 2FA validation App are Aunty and Google. I have been using both apps smoothly for almost a year. There is no point to switch to a new app which you do not know whether the security is good or not.

No need to take a look but I can ensure that Google authenticator is always the best. LOL. Seem like all website which can set up 2fa security always use Google authenticator for their website user account so I don't think there is any 2fa app can be better than Google :).

When a  2fa App becomes complicated I avoid it because once I cant get are and it I lose my platform. I use google authenticator its easy and straight forward. I have also heard of authy and how good it is but yet to try it.

Google authentication is the best and it is the one that people favor the most because it is easy to use I guess. That is what I use for all of my accounts that require two factor authentication to make sure that they are safe. Also I want to point out to people that are using two factor authentication to be very careful when changing the phones that they have two factor authentication on.

I think that's the google authencator software because this is one of google's software , it's very easy to use , you just download it , you download it from appstore if you use android and chplay. Just install it and turn it on and scan the barcode for 2fa , so easy and convenient. I see this is one of the most convenient software i' ve ever known

I use google authorization app when first time setup 2FA, but I won't use it anymore because I can't move to new device, so I change to Authy, use it more than 1 year, don't have any issue, easy to transfer your data to new device , just type your own password to restore, take a look and try it, it's also available mobile and desktop version :)

I do not know how other users use other applications instead of the usual Google, so it seems to me that they can steal your QR keys, although probably I'm already very much in panic.

It is very good 2FA and make our level of security increases. I personally often also use the Application. Because we do not want to lose our assets for not using 2FA. one of them in every exchange.

On my Mac I use Authy for 2FA. It's simple and convenient. I'm sure that it exist much more apps. But for what other if with Authy I can do all needed? Try, good app.

Almost all of my accounts use 2FA. I think this is the safest way to protect your property ever since it helps me prevent hacker attacks and no one can pass 2FA without your permission. I always recommend that my relatives use this feature to help them avoid unnecessary risks

Use known 2FA like Google authenticator, Autty. My preferred provider is autty, it is very easy to use couple with good feature. The most recommended is Google authenticator just that it is not user friendly.

Some time ago I used Google 2FA, but now I use Authenticator from the AppStore. You can't make backups, which is much safer. But there is always a risk of losing all 2FA keys if you lose your phone. It seems to me much more convenient. Although if it is important for you not to lose the keys - it is better to use the application with a backup. Almost any.

As long as i used the google authentication for any 2FA verification, there was no problem at all.

Personally I am using Authy 2FA. I use this instead of Google Authentication because Authy supports multi-device use. And this is very important I think, for example when you loose your mobile phone.

I use google authenticator app for many of my 2fa authentication needs. You may want to use other authenticator, as long as it is secured. Reminder, you are the only sole responsible for your assets and information, so better keep it low and secured.

Never tried Hydrohen 2Factor but sounds very interesting. I've also used google Authenticator App for how many months now and it is easy to use and user friendly.  Gonna try that one you mentioned and the google Authenticator to compare which is the best.

You know if you want a 2FA validation app that backups all your 2FA codes, and mirrors them across multiply devices while syncing on addition of any new entry, you can always count on AUTHY 2FA app! I can't remember my 2FA codes,didn't even keep a record of any of them! But I am always careful to enable backup to cloud on my AUTHY 2FA app so I worry less knowing their is always a backup device somewhere! Google Authenticator is too analogue for my liking! Haven't tried it in a while now! I just hope new updates have solve those issues which Make AUTHY the best 2FA validation app for me!!

I dont see there is any alternative for google app for 2fa authentication and most of the exchanges are having this pre loaded. Its the best solution to stop the hacking most of the time.

Nearly all exchanges favor Google 2 FA in secure authentication. Besides Google 2FA, there are other good apps like Authy. but does not mean that it will replace the reputation and credibility of the Google 2 FA. Just back up your backups to a safe place.

Why cannot you just use google? It seems to be pretty good for me and it is compatible with the most of new projects, so it is OP for me and millions of others.

I don't like google having such a monopoly in the authentication market. So I just use mobile verification.

It might be cool to use but we never know who is behind it and the reputation of the App so I think Google 2FA is more secure cause of the reputation google has display this long and the other one I found interesting is Authy which I do use as well and very secure and save even when you lost your device it is easy to access again.

My only trust  authentication app is Google Authenticator, it is developed and published by Google so it is totally safe. Apps by other companies are not safe to use and they can steal our information and money.  Google Authenticator is compatible with both Android and IOS, low version also can use it, Android 2.3.3 and above.

I think that for 100% security you need to have one more phone to get codes for case, when you devise is hijacked. I lost a lot to hackers and I want to warn you.

I still use google authentication. This app works like magic. It would be great if you use a backup phone for making authentication verification and keep it after you use it. Separate it from your daily use phone. Because when you lost it, all is gone. But if you keep it, you can always access your accounts with ease.

My best Pick for 2FA app is Authy, its much robust than GA, because it allows you to mirror your 2FA codes for different account over more than one device! You can have a PC version, and still have in a smartphone or two and a couple other devices! It allows you to back up to cloud, provide master passwords for backup and a login authentication in each case for each device!

I think don't use car security or auty because of the risk of your assets, and to date I use auty from Google. Because many cases occur hackers create applications that are thought to be safe but are used for crime.

It looks good, when it comes to the 2FA verification apps people just want to be sure that they can trust it to actually keep their accounts safe, people are putting a lot on the line when they are trusting the apps so I would not be surprised if they were not very likely to trust a new app for it. Most people I know already use authy for their verification

I am using authy instead of google authentication because last time when I lost my phone, I lost also access to all accounts conected to google authentication because there is no way how to recovery these accounts stored in this app. While Authy support online backup ;).

Google authenticator is better, preferably authy. The reason authy is preferred over others, is because you can still recover all your entries in case of any loss or theft.
