Recently i faced a big loss. i have invested on tezos (XTZ) recently 3200$ , thats decreased to 1500$ , in a day. unfortunately i sold because of panic.
I lost nearly 1800$. now i am fed up

It is your fault and no one responsible your investment. If you have brain so you must analyse and choose the best platform you will earn good profit or you should hold for one more month you will get decent profit.
But If you loose 1800 USD in 6 hours I do not believe your words.

I did not lose much money, because I did not invest much. I adhered to the rule, which says that you do not need to invest in the crypto currency world more than the money that you are not ready to lose.

I haven't been involved in ico for a long time, because I think the recent ICO is a scam. I can't guarantee that I can pick a good project from it, so I have no loss. My biggest mistake is when I was at $800 three years ago. I sold all my bitcoins, and it’s still hard to remember now.

The biggest losses I've ever experienced seem to be the same as most people. Have you ever heard of IGNIS airdrop for all NXT holder? I loss around $900 usd because of that, But from that experience we can make lessons for the future to not fall into the same mistake.

I purchased some numeraire (nmr) tokens that were greatly hyped when launched and its price grew to well over $150 each, i bought at $60-$70 level thinking it is great deal but since then it has been in a downtrend and seems like dead because price has gone below $10 now  and most of investors have sold in biv loss including me.

Well, I haven't invested in ICOs but I'vr bought tokend before in Helbiz (HBZ) from the market for about 3 eth i think and I loss about 300-500$ because of the price drop and bearish market. So yeah, that was my biggest loss too if it could be considered as loss. It was a loss because of my mistaken trades also, part of it is.

I can't remember if there's a "big" financial lost to me that's related to cryptocurrencies but if not, I can you some of my financial loss in real world.

As a crypto investor or trader , we can't avoid to have losses in trading. My only biggest financial losses in cryptocurrency trading so far is about 300 $.

I have lost more than 20k just in a few days but i have been recovering my lost again. I suggest you never try to fall to the shitcoin like tezos. It's only a shitcoin that created so many hypes but it actually deserved zero value in the future. You should learn from your lost to invest in the only reliable coin which developer a fully working product.

Crypto is one of the riskiest investment in the world but it can also be very rewarding as well. If you would like to hear about other people's bad investment to make you feel norm to wards your resent loss, that is ok. I am not a stranger to bad investments, I have made money and lost money and this cycle will continue.

Yes, I have a similar experience. Because of the panic, I sold all my altcoins, but then they proved that I was wrong with huge gains, so I think I will choose to hold them for a long time.

I will never make this kind of mistake at all. I mean its all right if you have put the trade on auto pilot and somehow the loss was over hyped. But if you knew that you were in loss like more than 50% then it was your mistake and you were responsible for you, you cant do anything about it now.

I dont remembre any of my mistake to such big event. Max I have lost my 5-10% from the initial value and I guess thats pretty normal while trading.

Most altcoins are risky business for investing in and technically speaking you dont loose
until you liquidate your investment when the value is lower than your buy in price.

For all ICO investments a true return only happens either when it launches on its first
exchange or potentially holding for more than a year or two.

It was 200k worth at some point but i was greedy and hold tokens. At the end, i sold them for 8k $. If you think it was a good profit but my greed cost me 192k$

i my greatest loose on ether, i bought 6,500 ethers and last year December at the rate of $1200 thinking it will make profit before the May/June 2018 i never knew that the fucking market soon gonna fall and i was advised not to sell till it hit $2500 so on the process it the market decreases to $800/ether

The silliest investment I made was in coin Xgox. It was POS coin with high rewards. I thought high rewards gonna help with popularity of the coin. As I was the early investor, I prepared on selling my bags once the coin gains popularity. I was so wrong in my judgement and the coin dropped almost 80% and never recovered. Since then, I stress upon the importance of technical analysis which can give you early indication of falling prices for stop loss.

It's a pity for you. The money is yours you have the right to decide the amount of yourself.I also like you have lost a lot of money in crypto but after the times lost the money which he draws is so much to experience. :)

My investments don't allow me to lose much. Since there is nothing to invest .But there were no losses .

In my opinion most us faced such situation as you did sell in panic but we all learn from our mistakes and experiences. In my one and half year trading experience I learn patience always hold on your high potential coins whether its dropping do not be panic of market if you sell in panic obviously you will repent some time later so always do trading with calm mind. Even I have DeepOnion in my wallet I sell my DeepOnion at 7$ price but after 2 week time it reaches +20$  so that way My loss is 13$ per coin & I sold that time 700 coins so my loss would be 9100$ that is the big amount I can say but I was quite satisfied with 7$ selling price and now that DeepOnion coin price is just under 1$. So market never been same it goes up and down. We always need to remain calm.

I invested in XRP at 0,50$ and in a week or two it was like 3,20$, but i didn't sell my holdings and regret about it. Then I hold for a few months, and finally sold my coins at the same level I bought because I needed money. But it was hard to sell it after holding for a half of year.

if the loss that I experienced when investing in crypto field is I bought bitcoin for 100k and when I sold for 77k I lost 23k. though I still have not given up and will not give up.

Losing is a healthy thing in the Crypto market. I firmly believe that you bought it when it was going high, you think it is safe? Everything is risky so buy some potent Altcoin like EOS, XRP, NANO, ZIL because they will not fall off suddenly.

hi guy, Some days ago, I sold all MVL coin when the price at 200 sts ETH, after 5 minutes later, the MVL price increase more than 800 sts ETH, I am feeling not good now. That is my wrong decision.

It is really sad to see someone ending up at a loss but you made the mistake on investing when the price was high, never invest when the price is high and that is the basic concept but selling the coins at a loss is just another mistake, if the market was crashing you should have sold off much earlier rather than waiting for it to bottom to sell the coins, i never ever sell coins at a loss be it in this market or any other market, i would switch to other stock or coin if it is not performing but never sell on a loss.

My biggest financial loss in crypto was being scammed for 0.5ETH. I was stupid to even invest in project that didn't even exist then, trust was based on "nice" words, from "friend" of mine. Well project never came to life, and my half ETH was gone just like that person... It wasn't that much money and I learned a great lesson.

Once I invested a round sum in a coin x, which many people gave reliably, but it burned to zero., Fell to such a scratch that it did not get me wrong to sell it, and then I was very upset at it all, but not for long I blew and soon I put in and wait for payments already

i lost 7 btc in crypto in financial trading fraud company called ETHTRADE which operated in 2016 and 2017 it is heart breaking loss for me

I haven’t experience big losses yet only in Blockfolio at the moment since 90% of my holdings are down but Not declaring it a loss as long as I don’t sell, I’m patiently waiting for the market to recover so that I can dispose them for a good price.

My biggest financial loss is when I lost a quarter of my nano because of the bitgrail hack, good thing I only left a quarter on the exchange to trade when the hacking incident happen. After that I immediately sell the rest and that's a good thing to do as nano price down a lot and haven't recovered till now. I lose probably about $1000 from that.

My biggest loss was 2k+ when the market went down. I was really pissed in the first days, but I realized it could be even worse  ;D. Anyway, I was okay with losing a part of my portfolio (mainly because I made some profit before) and crises make new opportunities, right? Progress is really fast as everyone wants to make his product no1 and as technically a totally illiterate person, I am delighted by skills of these people who make wonders and can change the world for better with a single computer in their hands. Most of the projects will not survive, but we are going to reach new and (right now) hardly imaginable real-life improvements of products and services that we use on a daily basis.

This time I probably spent a lot of money on this cryptocurrency market.
I invested ETH at $ 400 and now it's down to $ 320. According to the information I see many people evaluate them can down to 2xx. Currently I do not know how to take back the money I lost before.

I have actually made any loss, unless i want to consider the fact that might coins are worth way lesser than I bought them now. Other than that, I'm good, and I believe that in due time, when all of these is over, I would have my funds back, and hopefully make more earnings. I just have to be patient and wait for that to happen.

Hello mate, so sorri for the financial loss, but you don't to be fed up because  of that, any one that is experienced in crypto like i suppose that you should be would have known that losses is part of crypto thought with proper research and planning it could minimized.

As for me, i have experienced huge losses on ICO of up to 90% in some cases. Although i am happy i did not commit  much funds to it hence the loss was a bit bearable. Now, i am learning better.

The most affected crypto from this bloodbath are altcoins and their tokens, Not going to blame you for that selling as we have no concrete assurance as to when those altcoins or ICO tokens are going to recover you should set some stop loss to prevent more damage from the decreases, biggest lost from crypto? I did not experience that amount of losses but mainly I got some dips from bitcoin and eth.

I think that every experienced person on the crypto market was a loss. Someone was big, and somebody was small. When I only got to know the crypto market I made wrong decisions and had some losses.

So far my personal biggest loss was not on the day trade I perform but in terms of my hold cryptocurrencies wallet,  this portfolio of mine had lost almost 70% of its selling value during this period of time.

Last year, i loss 4000$  just because of holding it, not sell at the pump day. That was my biggest regretion since I started in crypto currency. I wish  to not haplen again this kind of failure. Actually I have suffered several losses, but these have been originated in different ways, but in any case my experience with cryptocurrencies has been bittersweet, although taking a fair balance I think I have had more positive than negative results.

Yes, I also experienced the biggest looser in crypto I buy some token because I think it will grow potentially but a few days ago seems it goes up higher than automatic dump. I should sell it and not wait it to pump higher again.

Right now! I lost nearly a thousand dollars because of that ethereum dump. Majority of my holdings are ethereum based coins and it dumped tremendously. First time trade with coin, I lost almost $ 1.200 in ADB, for new comer I should take top coin not new coin. My mistake is simple, enter market without see the trend. Since the beginning of January, I have left 10% of the investment. I'm not selling - Hold!

Personally, I did not face big losses. If there were losses then very minimal. But if I invest somewhere, I will first study everything. And then I'll start slowly to practice.

My biggest loss as you may guess came when I invested in an ico, I held my coins during a year and the price went down and the coin gave no signs that it could recover, at the end I sold but I got only 50% of my investment back but at least I sold before the coin really went down in value and eventually disappeared, since then I have been a lot more strict on what is needed for an ico before I decide to invest in it.

I just hold ETH and I've loss 2500$ about 3 month (from 800$/ETH to 300$/ETH). So sad but I think ETH will reach a better price at the end of this year.

A year ago i bought one small altcoin on all my money that i have. And then bear market of altcoins started. I did not sell in loss because i was greedy. Today this altcoin cost almost anything. So i lost all my money at one bad deal. When i tell all my money i mean 10 BTC. Of course i started again and now i never buy small altcoins.

and thinking it would go back to its ATH in a month,

I can't remember if i have had any loss. Even the shit coin i invested in still gave me my profit. You just need to study when to invest into any coin and when to cash out.

That's a biggest mistake ever that i even got fomo early this year. When i accidentally bought bitcoin at 19,000 which is bad. I learn it in my past experienced, Well all i can do now is too hold that coz if i sell those probably i will be rekt.

I know Tezos only tradeable in HitBtc and Gate.io and between both exchange HitBTC has feature of stop limit that you can use for stop loss. So far the biggest my loss is invested in gem coin and that coin tradebale only in small exchange, because so many people promote this coin and they  believe that coin will become the next 100x coin so i invested arund 0.5 BTC and when the price reached 100% i still hold it but after that that coin dumped by their developer and iam loss around 0.4 BTC just in aday. Less risk management and too greedy was bring me to much loss.

it can be a learning for us in the future in order that we are not in a hurry in making decisions. in investing cryptocurrency we must be more patient and careful because we know that there is a risk that can be obtained that is a big loss. and the most important thing is to keep calm in any situation of the market.

The disadvantage that I did was when I bought OKcash at Bittrex.
I bought Okcash at a price of 5500 satoshi and now the price is below 1000 satoshi.

I was very lucky in this regard. The fact that I did not lose too much money in the temporary fall of the market. I just try not to invest much in one crypto currency. And it is better to invest your investments in several.

I bought LYM tokens relatively recently, they then stood for 1000 tokens-20 dollars, I waited and brought them out when their cost was for 1000 tokens - 50 dollars. A month later, their price rose to $ 120. Now of course the price has fallen, and even quite strongly, as their price has fallen to the original figures.

That really hurts I lost money with my investment but nothing close to 10 bitcoins, if I had 10 bitcoins I will probably just hold them, my goal like many is to obtain enough bitcoin to change my life but like many people I do not need hundreds of bitcoins I only need something between 10 and 15 bitcoins, once I get to my goal I will just hold my coins and wait until bitcoin becomes more valuable.

I actually was stupid  enough to fall for the Ethereum Dark scheme.  About $4,000 down the drain.  Absolutely brutal.  I have also had great luck.  Took a rocket ship ride on Dentacoin.  That thing shot up do high and hard I still remember it vividly.  Amazing journey.  Lots of ups and downs.
