I know people are happy to see bitcoin grow to over $ 8,000, but this is a long-term growth. Prices of altcoin are on the decline and no signs of recovery. My guess is that the bitcoin price will have another downward slump and the altcoin pull down deep before recovering strongly from now until the end of the year.

This is really a drama that is very passionate. We have started the era of improvement again and this starts from the growing trust of Bitcoin as a medium of financial transactions in the future. bitcoin becomes the main alternative to becoming a centralized financial system. Yes,That's great news for us.When Bitcoin price was under 6k i was too much afraid about bitcoin future.Some pump group give their prediction that btc will be 5k at this time but Bitcoin prove that they don't care anyone.At this time bitcoin price $8200. Iam Soo happy

Nobody can be absolutely sure why the price is increasing a lot, but we can give a hint that it is rising because of the possible approval of ETF, now if ETF is not approved then the price may drop a lot, but eventually the price will recover

how are you even sure about it? it is impossible to predict the market unless you are confusing a "correction" with a "fall". the former is a natural course of the market and as you can see we have been seeing small corrections to keep this rise healthy and strong but the later is a big drop which is highly unlikely since the bull market is starting to show itself now.

Looking at the charts for the whole year, this current climb does seem interesting.

However, it's always easy to draw predictive lines on graphs. But, it does look a *little* like BTC has bottomed out and is not on an upward swing.

Note: I'm not saying that this is *likely* to be the case. It could be another hump then down again.

That type of thinking is surely a pessimistic way of thinking.

You are sure that it will fall? You want to see it hit back $10,000 but you are sure that it will fall. At least make the state of your mind be optimistic first.

Good start and a big hike in last 7 months. Now i see a stagnant value between $7900 to $8200. This is really good for continues growth. If the same rally remain for 48 hours then yes, there is going to be huge hike then reaching $9k in 3 days. SEC result should be another cause for a huge hike to $10K to $12K. Just remember the days with prediction reaching minimum $8K to $9k and yes we do see the price now. We can expect last December's growth by October if this trend continues.

well, I am very happy to see the current price increase. if this continues to happen, I am sure this will remind us in 2017. I still expect bitcoin prices to be higher than the bitcoin price in 2017, although very unlikely.

This could be one thing and the other could be that syndicate (trustee) of Mt.Gox finally sold all the 200.000 bitcoins.
Or maybe they just took vacations and selling stopped temporarily? I would be cautious with estimations here.

I don't know if it will continue to break the resistance of $9k or it will going to stay just like this and will remain the $8k resistance and eventually will going down to $5k or $6k trend again. Maybe this pump show will stay longer for a week or two because i'm sure it will going to go down again.

Bitcoins breaking the 8000 price is a sign that it is heading to 10,000$ very soon. Probably by the middle of October to December Bitcoins will be seen at a price of 15000 to 20,000 USD range.

Good thing it backs to $8000 so quickly this month hoping we can see again the $10k price before the July ends then it stabilized a little bit on August for the upcoming corrections that will surely strike the market fluctuations always happen so we can't predict the exact outcome next month but this is positive that the market recovers this rate and we all hope it keeps going this way.

That’s not an assurance. It’s still possible for bitcoin to fall during the following months and there’s no indication that the market will start to become bullish. No one can even pinpoint why the price has significantly increased in a short period of time but it’s possible that the market just bouned back and this is a correction. Everyone is anticipating for an over-the-top ATH by the end of the year and this could possibly be the start of the run towards it or maybe not.

As i see as well , in my view probably another high value before end of july is possible again such  9k value which is so close to reality.   because on this day the pattern of market is so fast to increase wherein after it fluctuate it always recovering and make a small pump after. By the way this is the right time to ride on the bull , so you should accumulate now because it will continue to climb now until end of moth 'cause on August perhaps there's a bearish again. Lol

Actually ETH, EOS etc are staying where they are. Its only BTC which is rising and taking up market share. Its up to 47% down from about 35%.

Corporate news is causing positive lift for BTC.

Price movements are not as inflated as they were nor are they predictable, but just lik you said price will fall again but when don't know for sure when this will happen but I would like to see 10k soon as most hodlers have lost money investing when it was at its ATH and it would be good to break even.

Indeed, we see the progress remains stunning for the past few hours and it really proved that bitcoin regains better performance compared from previous recent months. With the upcoming changes to go further, I guess there's a lot of dramas to happen and expectedly we'll going to witness the entire story which is more prettier than before. So just stay tuned and always keep calm no matter how unpredicatable value it may achieved as long as there's constant market movement.

Bitcoin is possible to correct of course before it hit the $10k level but we don’t know when and if its possible. We break a strong resistance, started the pump but don’t be scared if its fall again because it will bounce back again.

Right now their is no sign of price going down in btc as everyone is waiting for the ETF result and the confirmation will come in is second week of August so it will reach 10k very easily

I believe bitcoins is going to hit the 10,000 USD price soon, maybe before September. After bitcoin hitting 8000 and above, it has proven that it will at long last go a bull run.

He's saying that he's surely bitcoin will fail so there's no optimism found on his words.

Corrections are very normal and it will come before or after bitcoin reaches $10,000. I'm not scared of any correction if I am, I'm done with it when I was still new to the market.

But thanks to those times when the market went through many corrections and most of it came on this year.
