Bitcoin surges to $8500. is it ready for a bull run? what can we expect at the end of this year?

Bitcoin is always going to be around, it never went away so the talk about it being back is quite off, BTC is here to stay and this price isn't a true reflection of the true value, which is much more higher than the value at the moment. The value would continue to increase now and in the future.

Yes.If the price of bitcoin is raised in a steady manner.We can expect 8500$ before the end of this month.So holding probably gives us more profit than selling at small raise.The price of bitcoin will reach 13-15k $ before the end of this year.The experience trader will hold their cryptocurrency till the end of the year.

After a long time bitcoin is back. Bitcoin price started to increase till yesterday but today its going down. Hope it would not go very low. Again it starts to increase, this ups and downs are common in the crypto market. But sure the growth will be continue in near future. But we can expect the bull run in bitcoin price by the end of this year. The price will reach $10k by the august itself.

Bitcoin is always there,only people that against bitcoin said it is dead but we can see now that bitcoin is rising. I expect more on bitcoin and hoping that the price will increase more before end of this year so that many people become successful and can have a better life someday.

We do not know what will happen, So far be careful and plan when to sell. Because whales can only control the price of bitcoin and they can dump its price when they reach the target price to sell. That's why we're careful and it's best not to buy a bitcoin while the price goes down because we can fall victim to bull trap.

Bitcoin is back and better because it has been gathering momentum and it has been gaining her own ground with grace of affecting life's.

No one knows for the future but I will keep it until the extraordinary price back to ATH, because by holding Bitcoin can benefit more from selling at current prices or can be called just for trading, whatever happens in some future Bitcoin always there for all of us as our relationship and popularity grow so there will be a lot of funds every year to be ready to exceed last year's price.

I think bitcoin price will continue uptrend due to upcoming announcement of SEC ETF that has delayed but till September it may go over 10k$. Altcoins will bleed with continues uptrend of Bitcoin.

What do you mean is it ready for the bull run? I can definitely say that we have already gotten into the bull run and pray that we will keep up the up surge to reach ATH of last year. Bull run is when we get passed around 15% of value from the lowest bottom, which have already passed in case of the bitcoin. So thats why I am pretty sure bitcoin is already in bull run. To keep up the bitcoins movement upwards we need one important thing and thats investors support. More and more whales should start to invest more by this time and weak hands should be away from the market right now.  ;)

I'm not so sure, but now bitcoin is up. Many are preaching about this, and many believe it and are starting to buy in hopes that bitcoin will increase. I believe bitcoin will increase if many hold and many are affected with positive news about bitcoin.

Yeah it's certainly on its way up! Hopefully it can keep going. I see it hit a bit of resistance at the $8500 level, which has some confluence between a few Fibonacci levels... right now I'm watching $8200 to see if it can hold the upward trend it's had going since Monday. If it keeps that line, it's next target looks like $9000.

Hard to tell where it'll be by the end of the year for sure. Forecasting of any kind is really difficult. Just take it one step at a time and watch the price action at each level as it continues to grow.

Yes bitcoin is back, but it is still struggling at $8.1-2xx. If there is no correction again then August is a great improvement and recovery. Predicting for things we do not know will make us more enthusiastic to wait for big increases to happen in the near future.

Yes this is a bull run and it will last until the SEC will give us the decision whether to accept or reject ETF. If they do agree that ETF  will do good and approved then then this bull run will continue up to the end of the year. But if they reject it again then say goodbye to this bull run because a lot investors will panic again and will push the sell button. The decision will be on Aug 10, so I'm assuming the bull run will continue leading to that date and then we will see what happens.

First off, bitcoin didn't go away so I don't think that we can say that its back. Second, I haven't seen it go to the $8500 or maybe I'm wrong. Third, bull run? we might be seeing a break out run but its too early what to expect at the end of the year. There's still a lot that can happen, this bull run might end and not be sustainable specially after the SEC will handed down their decision on Aug 10th, might be messy if a Bitcoin ETF rejection, on the other hand, a approval would really push the price even further and we might another all-time-high. So let's just enjoy the ride and see how everything turns out in Aug 10th. Just don't expect too high though, so that you will not be disappointed in the end. IMHO.

I am not sure we will find the big bump in the market continously I believe the there may be any dump ahead after this bump. I love to go with the bitcoin postive price but we people also need to support the market to see the big value in the price chart. I suggest one thing to you please choose any trading site and invest 500 USD at least on any coins mate. Will work on it better.

The price did exceed $8,500 but for just few hours. Unfortunately, people started to dump bitcoin again to cash out there profit with ETF being delayed. They feared that the price might crash back again to $7,000. So, right now the price is back to $8,050. Hoping for it to go back above $8,500 within few days.

This is already the start of some sort of bull run.  The question is whether it's going to be a sustained one and how long it's going to continue.  I've said in other threads that it's way too early to tell what's going on--definitely too early to celebrate--but the good thing is that bitcoin has gotten un-stuck.  Being caught in a narrow range for months can be demoralizing for traders and confusing for long-term holders. 

I was wondering which way bitcoin would break when it started moving, and I'm glad it was upward.  We'll see how long it lasts, though.  Would be nice if we started (slowly) approaching $20k.

Today everyone expect the good move in Bitcoin but totally opposite in current status. Bitcoin is slowly jump in forward for past three days but currently it is down in the market. It is good growing cryptocurrency so Bitcoin is a long term supporting coin and end of the year this will reach 25k USD is possible.

I really hope so, the market is already boring in the market. We seem to be stuck in a swamp and can not get out of it. But I'm sure a bright future awaits us.

It could be the signs wveryone is waiting for, maybe the start of bullrun perhaps? I do hope so since it had reached $8,500 from a couple of months of sitting around $6k. Hopefully it won’t fall back to around $6k or else maybe this year is full of bear than of the bullish side though and its close to the last quarter of the year too.

It is always there so there's no such thing as a comeback the only thing that matters these time is the price and the 8500 price increase drops to 8100 and continues that way well this is crypto so expect a sudden rise and fall given that it is highly volatile due to the current news but there's a light of shed to 10k as if this continues to dwell then we can see the bull runs to its course again.

Yes, of course, we can expect. Because there is nothing impossible to do. I hope and believe that in 2018, why Bitcoin's price is above $ 8000 only? Rather, it will be worth $ 10000 and above. Maybe many will not want to believe but hope that this will happen

I think we should wait and see if BTC is going to continue its upward movement before we say it's back. It's been doing much better than these past few months so hopefully it's a sign that the market is coming back.

Give or take, I see the bitcoin hitting the 10,000$ mark before the end of this year. The most important thing also is for a similar leap to be reflected on the market generally. The bitcoin rise is what all have been clamouring for and it's because of the impart it is meant to have on the altcoins too.

For past three days there was a good rise in bitcoin price, today all are expect more than that. But totally changed again the value is down. But hope this down is not continue tomorrow we can expect the rise again. But his dump is little one only. So dont get panic and sell just hold the  bitcoin for future. Surely the market will boomp up in high level. At that time we can make more profit. Because the growth will be sure but it takes some time.

It is really a good news for the bitcoin users. Wish it will increase more and more with in some days.

Just because it rises doesn't mean the bull run started. Although we expect this year's greater amount than last year's worth. I say keep holding until your drop it will definitely give you an abonormal gain that you can't imagine be your's. BTC is truly a masterpiece don't waste it's effort for nothing just keep holding.

I`m worried about the fluctuations around $8,300. it seems for me, that we struggle to go up, because people are still not ready to completely trust in Bitcoin and invest in it.

I think it is a pump by whales because as my view, there is no any valid reason to rise the price of bitcoins during the middle of the year. Furthermore I believe a real increase will happen during the year end as earlier.

My expect at the end of this year it will hit again 20k & it's was increase the price but it's not mean
a bull run. Just wait & see what happened next

I really don't think "we're back" since really nothing has changed in the last several months. We're still needing adoption and real-use cases for the average person. Until then it's still a highly speculative currency that may or may not succeed. Just because the price has risen or dropped doesn't really mean that the coin has left or come back. If it's being traded as the price goes down, it's still technically being bought and sold and used and therefore is not dead.

Well there is certainly more positive activity in the markets creating green signals but I think
the markets are a bit cautious. Just when news of an ETF postponement is being realised there
is a slight correction.

Anyway as has been stated, bitcoin didnt go anywhere to come BACK. At $6000 that value is
beyond anyones wildest dreams going back to January ok ast year for example.

It's not that hard to predict that the main target short term is 10k. People like round numbers and they work like magnets most of the time. The only reason why a price stops before reaching one of those round targets is negative news or cancellation of some positive news. Right now the main target is 10k, but one of the reasons for the push towards it is the ETF news. If this got nullified by a negative decision we'd stop before reaching 10k. If it goes through we'll most likely see price go above that level with a target of 20k.

In the now many months I have been around bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, all I can say is only time and occurrences will tell. But rest assured, BTC will always be the Classic guy!  ;)

My expectation about bitcoin is not so tremendous in this year because I am sure that after such a strong downtrend it is impossible that bitcoin will recover to its previous highs so fast well I mean that firstly bitcoin will be a consolidation phase collecting liquidity which are required for the further growth. I think that the roof of bitcoin is about 10000$ in this year but it is just my opinion.

I wouldn't call its impossible but its going to be a slow and will take some time before we see the price going for a new all-time-high. But I would rather see it that way rather than a massive bull run that will eventually burst at the end. That's what we witness during its last last run, everyone thought that we will continue up to $30K but the price suddenly goes down and up to now we are still struggling to grow and stand up.

$10K is a good and very safe estimate, but don't be surprise if we are going to hit it this August because the market is very optimistic of a Bitcoin ETF. So we will continue to wait and see how it goes.

I have been following the market for a long time. Over the past two days, bitcoins have grown quite well compared to other coin altcoins. I hope this market will soon grow fast.

Even though it is in slow growth percentage but at least market is moving.  The most important is that,  it is continuously moving up and up. People are now stop moaning cause they saw market is in green and for sure they are now selling some of their coins.

I am very happy to hear it, this is a warm week in market cap. all definitely expect that this will continue, but we know that bitcoin is high votality so we do not know the conditions that will develop, the most important is to remain optimistic.

I think yes bull run is started as we can see bitcoin is continuously to moving up. It's great for all of us because are hopes is happening that bitcoin will increase this year. We don't know what will be the price in the end of the year but we hoping that it's more to what we expected.

Okay it reached $8,500 and I was away so I didn't saw that live but by checking it currently, Bitcoin stands at $8,272 so this price should be the support.

We may expect bull run or not but if I'm you, I won't think so much that excites me and if it won't happen I'll not be disappointed.

Many people expect bitcoin price to recover around $10K again as the step toward higher points, yes bitcoin may reach it in August affected by ETF decision.
But the market has not entered the bull run as the price still fluctuate, had declined to $8086 a few hours ago, though the price will drop below $8K, but still survive above $8K. This movement influenced by the news of SEC postponed ETF applications filed by fund provider Direxion until September 21, 2018. Another ETF files submitted by CBOE has been delayed until August 10^th. however, SEC may extend 245 days before approve or denied ETF files.

For me bitcoin is not already back, but soon : 8K2 cross today, it's not nothing, for people who don't rebuy it, it's the moment, you will regret it (my opinion).

Other coin like eth haven't increase yet, bitcoin is the strongest coin and that's the proof !

You can't tell if it is a bull run, if the price just rose for a day and the next few weeks are followed by continuous dumps. And since this whole ETF thing seems to be a big deal right now and if things go right, we can see bitcoin hitting above 20k. But we don't live in a perfect world, so fuck we can't expect things to go well, especially with SEC around.  ::)

Well, I am always on my toes for any price of bitcoin Because this surge in the price is only to make you fell that it is still around and can rise at anytime. I just checked the price and it has dropped down by 300$. Don't be to happy but you can expect more from bitcoin.

Right. The bitcoin market is back. Bitcoins have risen to nearly $ 9,000. This is a good sign for companies and investors. Many people are focused on buying bitcoins and storing them. This makes the demand for bitcoin buyers soar. So bitcoin prices will rise even higher.

I don't think it is ready yet because it seems that it doesn't pass the previous ATH last year but i could say that this is still a good chance to see bitcoin is recovering from its recent massive fall. But sadly most of the altcoins are declining while bitcoin is going for a bull run. How ironic it is.

Bitcoin might be back ,from that falling down of price value in the market but it is not very fast, but it is slowly recovering as of now, so this is a good news for bitcoin holders.

It will not totally go for a bull run. Their will still be some dump before going up. Anyhow, expect the price of bitcoin at the end of this year just like last year who definitely break $10k.

Yes as I see Bitcoin has come back and it is true even though sometimes it decreases within reasonable limits.

Well it's not technically back since it's been always there  ;D. But yeah the prices are going up again. Time for a new cycle. A lot of people expect it to go up really high, like last year. It might. It's definitely a possibility. It's only at 8.2k so can't tell for sure. It's hard to tell as of right now. The prices are fluctuating way to much currently. Very unstable.

we must be happy for the good pump for bitcoin today and looking forward for another pump. We must just be ready everyday because we don't how far it will goes up!

For the mean time we should all be happy and satisfied since we are seeing great movements, just like what you have said we also needed to be ready in case that sudden downfall followed we should have extra alternatives, we can't predict if this bounce will be continuous and with bitcoin behaviors we should learned from the past that extra precautions is necessary in order to cover up changes that might happen.

Bitcoin is getting stronger, prices are rising from July 20 to present. Hopefully by the end of 2018 bitcoin will reach $ 25,000

Those are wrong expectations. last year growth was unrealistic. let it increase at its own pace and will have a better future.

I got the feeling we will finally see a good uptrend at least until this ETF thing comes into play. But it also may bounce around for a little bit like we have been seeing all year this year I don't have too much hope for big rises with BTC if I was a good trader I would be trading it this whole year but don't really have the nerves fot it haha.

There is no surprise in this price surge, I believe that the price will not only continue to grow but also it will hit a fresh all-time high level before next year. It is not a secret anymore that big whales and institutional investors were preparing for the price momentum since correction and they will definitely try to make the most profit from this upcoming rally.

The reason the price came up so fast with lots of volume was when we had great news about Bitcoin ETF and everyone spreaded the news.
It is calmer now.

our expectations are all, as happened last year. when in the 4th quarter bitcoin starts to rise and the peak is at the end of the year, bitcoin prices rise to the moon.

Can't blame the SEC for rejecting the petition, I mean why would anyone say that crypto market is - that's like saying that the multi-billion crypto market has been impervious to price dictation by the whales, sharks, and shrimps.

They should not push the market forward as a basis for the petition, they should push forward the underlying technology and it's potential economic gains once the system gains more standards.

This price correction will weary us again, except some other legit news favorable turns up.

this can not be guaranteed to rise high at the end of the year. according to my view the current crypto is very unstable. because if when the coin rises it will rise its price by 10% but after that it will drop by 50%.
but do not worry, because bitcoin is currently a lot of good news that can help bitcoin to rise again like last year.

It's amazing, many people like me are waiting for this market. I have a strong believe that Bitcoin price will increase more as like the December of 2017. so Don't be hurry, be patient.

Even though i support your positiveness. I think its very early to say that bitcoin have recovered. When it will reach 10-12k and surpass it to 15k we could say that there is a strong buy trend, but now it is still very volatile and we cant even predict whats gonna happen tomorrow.

Where did Bitcoin go? Why all of the sudden it's back? Now people started to think of a bull run where in fact when it is below $6k they tend to panic and all of the sudden they talk that it's back. How pathetic these people are, making fuzz and now enjoying what's going to come.
