For those readers who are not versed in coding or cryptography, the concept of a Direct Acyclic Graph will not make any more sense than a blockchain makes. That’s because it’s still a way to successfully record and broadcast transactions to the rest of the network. On that front, there is very little difference between the two concepts. However, in the case of TRF, there are no miners who process, broadcast, and confirm transactions.

That doesn’t have to be a bad thing, though, as the mining process is often considered a waste of electricity first and foremost. Whether that makes the DAG implementation superior or inferior is hard to determine at this point in time. There is no perfect way to achieve distributed and decentralized consensus in the world of cryptocurrency right now. Any new way of achieving this goal will have its advantages and drawbacks.

More specifically, this consensus mechanism involves the use of transaction issuers and transaction validators. This is very different from the concept of mining, where the issuers and approvers are one and the same, for the most part. Some people see this as an advantage, as miners often collude to harm the network whenever things aren’t going to their liking. Moreover, miner fees also impact those networks relying on mining consensus, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

There are additional advantages to using TRF DAG. First of all, it seems to solve scalability, although there is still a lot of work to be done in this regard. Secondly, it solves most of the issues associated with transaction fees found in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Transactions broadcast to the network require two previous transactions to be approved. This must be handled by the network nodes, which requires that the approved network nodes don’t conflict with one another. It is an interesting take on double-spends, although it still has to be put through its paces properly.

Glad that DAG is getting the recognition it deserves. A lot more projects are sprinting up using DAG in their core protocol, in fact, many even use it as one of their selling points. Just goes to show how quick innovation spreads in the crypto world.

I bought TravelFlex in January and still HODLing it...it is a good coin in my opinion and when new alt bullrun starts, it could make good profit. Team is very active and they are focused not just to travelling, but also on social media and marketing.

I am very happy to collect the coin that will migrate to DAG technology ... because the price growth when migrated to DAG is very fast, try checking the migrated coin to DAG like byteball iota and Nano ...

I will sell TRF when I am satisfied with the profit I get, and will keep some TRF 2-3 years ahead ..

Thanks for sharing this info, there is a lot to be learnt about the TRF DAG. I think if this truly works out well and it is well adopted into ethereum and bitcoin blockchain,  it will be of great advantage.

Actually TRF is a possible scam project. Let me tell you a quick story about it. At first they claimed that part of its ICO would be donated to Charity (which he never showed a proof). Coins were pre-mined and no one knew about it. It seems their CEO is running out of money and they are now saying they are in partnership with another ico (CTA coin) claiming that some guys work in their office now, so it's 2 coins in one office. If you take a look at CTA's website (https://www.cryptassist.io) you'll see it is very look a like with TRF website, they just changed some colors and fonts. TRF coins were accepted as payment for CTA in their ICO and million of TRF coins flew to the CTA's CEO. Their developer (Daniel) which no one knows nothing about him (Couldn't find his Linkedin or other social media profile) claimed to be working in the DAG coin from scratch but he just copied the codes from Byteball (fork) https://pastebin.com/Zk6DJAu2. Red is what they deleted, green is what they added. One day before the deadline of swap, they announced a partnership with another ICO which they are actively promoting (even knowing they are a competitor). There are more shit about this project, but my advice is stay away from this coin.

what you say is a big mistake, TRF and CTA are not the same company. can you show me the fact you mentioned it ?? if you are right i will sell all my TRF assets.
