1. Forging ahead the smart gateway project with the Zhejiang Telecom

After publishing the confirmation of production operation and marketing approaches in our last bi-weekly report, recently the both parties focused on a series of issues such as software and hardware development and jointly promoted the following work.

• The hardware prototype has entered the stage of prototype design and the shell repair in small batch, and the first batch of prototypes is expected to be delivered in mid-September.
• Software of APP\SERVER and router has entered the research and development stage and is going to be delivered synchronously with the first batch of prototypes.
• Newly-developed design of security encryption system is going to be  delivered synchronously with the first batch of prototypes.
• Product safety regulation and wireless authentication are in the preparation phase now.
• Specify two pilot cities in Zhejiang Province as the first promotion area.

2. In-depth cooperation with the smart site project

At present, the smart site project is steadily developing. The first pilot project has been completed and commissioned, and will be delivered for acceptance soon. After collecting and sorting out the relevant technologies of smart sites, INT has completed the proposals of other applications of the smart site and delivered it to the partners.

3. Negotiating for smart logistics packaging projects

In order to better serve our life by applying the blockchain technology and save logistics resources, the INT team has signed a cooperation framework agreement with the Cainiao, and decided to determine the details of the cooperation through the trial process of the product.

4. Achieving initial cooperation intention with an intellectual property project in Gansu province, China

Recently, an intellectual property project in Gansu came to our company and completed the interface about the blockchain technical solution with Dr. Xiang Ruofei , also showed strong cooperation intention with INT team. Both parties hope to achieve substantial cooperation progress in the following communication.

5. Successfully submitting two invention patents based on "blockchain + car networking"

In order to speed up the realization of the value of the Internet of Things ecosystem, the INT R&D team conducted in-depth research on “blockchain+car networking” and recently submitted invention patent and utility model patent which is related to vehicle overspeed monitoring modules and vehicle speed monitoring systems based on blockchain.

6. Research on the application of "blockchain + authentication"

2. Attend the NetEase-Cloud Innovation Conference, Hangzhou China

On July 31, the NetEase-Cloud Innovation Conference with the theme of “Open, Ecology and Empowerment” was successfully held at Hangzhou International Expo Center. The conference was hosted by the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute and Netease. 1. Expanding Overseas Media

• After the INT and Hubei Smart Site projects have completed the construction and commission of the first pilot project, the two parties jointly checked and confirmed the project strictly according to relevant standards. At present, the first pilot project has entered the stage of acceptance.

2. The "Prefabricated Component Passive Wireless Identification Sensor Application Standard" jointly formulated by the INT and Hubei Industrial Construction Group was recognized by the China Construction Industry Association.

• In order to regulate the domestic construction market, the China Construction Industry Association accepted project applications of the second batch of group standards in April this year. After strict selection by experts of the Association, the "Prefabricated Component RFID Passive Wireless Identification Sensor Application Standard" jointly formulated by the INT and Hubei Industrial Construction Group becomes one of the 26 group standards approved. In the future, INT will apply this standard to the joint smart site with Hubei Industrial Construction Group and other projects in the future. It is expected to promote the development of smart sites in China by working with industry-leading construction companies.

3. Continue the development of smart gateway projects

• INT has carried out work of software and hardware development with Zhejiang Telecom. Up to now, the two parties have increased investment in R&D personnel and continued to promote the research and development of router hardware and software. They also conducted in-depth research on router appearance, structure optimization, and mold opening. In addition, the INT team has confirmed the marketing plan for the initial product with Telecom, including product sales channels, terminal pricing, etc.

1. Yin Xiangyu, Head of INT China attended 2018 Global Blockchain Innovation Summit

On August 24th, Yin Xiangyu, Head of INT China was invited to attend the 2018 Global Blockchain Innovation Summit in Seoul, South Korea. The summit gathered elites from the blockchain industry in China and South Korea to discuss the application development of the future blockchain and attracted a number of well-known media, venture capitals and blockchain project representatives. During the meeting, Mr. Yin gave a presentation on the “Build an INT IoT ecosystem”, and had in-depth communications with elites from Korean blockchain industry, hoping to establish a resource sharing mechanism to achieve the exchange and complementarity of high-quality resources.



2. INT Chief Business Officer Chen Feier attended a multi-party seminar in Myanmar

On August 22nd, Chen feier, Chief Business Officer of INT, went to Myanmar and had a deep discussion with the heads of local capitals and CB BANK on how to push steady access of blockchain technology to the Myanmar market and how to apply INT technology in Myanmar.

2. Design Competition

We are looking for a proof of concept design for INT branding. The design should not alter the existing INT logo, although it doesn’t have to include the logo. However, it does have to be clear that the design represents INT (Internet Node Token) and ideally can go with the “Make a different world” motto theme. However, including the motto words in the design is not necessary. The design can be anything you like, and the idea is that the design can be put onto merchandise, such as a T-shirt, pen, or mug, for example, and will look distinct, clear, and attractive.

Rewards
All eligible submissions will be selected by community vote + INT brand team, and 10 outstanding works will be selected. The rewards are as follows:
1. 1 best design: 12000 INT + the first batch of trial gifts
2. 1 best creativity: 8000 INT + the first batch of trial gifts

• The R&D team improved some new business functions about INT smart contract. At the same time, several new TXs were added and the standard of Token functions was determined. The related improvement work will be gradually carried out; (40%)
• The R&D team has determined the rules for the node election as specified in the previous bi-weekly report. During these two weeks the team made partial adjustments on the reward schemes for super nodes and candidate nodes, and continued to promote the development related to nodes; (70%)

The R&D of PCB board in production and structural repair is also steadily progressing. At the same time, software IOS and Android APP design together with UI design has been completed. INT has collected and sorted schemes in many application areas of smart cities, such as structural testing of bridge piers, smart parking spaces and traffic condition detection. It is expected to improve the construction of smart cities through continuous technology upgrade;

4. Connection with an unmanned plant protection machinery company

• INT has recently connected with an unmanned plant protection machinery company concerning the application of blockchain technology. During the discussion, both parties pointed out that there are bottlenecks in the unmanned plant protection machinery industry such as lack of standards and difficulties in breaking through core technologies. It is expected to build a symbiotic and win-win platform of smart agriculture cooperation through subsequent in-depth cooperation.

• The INT team and Zhejiang Telecom launched a series of in-depth research on software and hardware development. Up to now, the R&D personnel of both parties have started the interface debugging for the development of the APP, and tested the function code. The hardware type has been confirmed and 3C certification and communication service certification have begun. In addition, the INT team also started the negotiation about the marketing plan of online and offline sales with Telecom.

2. The final acceptance of the smart site project

• Following the final round of optimization work between the INT team and the Hubei Smart Site project party, this week, the leaders of Hubei Industrial Construction Group and their technical experts completed the final acceptance of the pilot project.

On August 25th, INT team was invited to attend the 11th CSDN Blockchain Technology Salon with the theme of blockchain technology and industry application. 2. In-depth discussion with Turing Award Winner Silvio Micali

On September 16th, INT Chief Architect Dr. Xiang Ruofei and the technical team attended academic forum event:“Prospects & Challenges of Blockchain and the Algorand Solution” hosted at Zhejiang University. The event gathered more than 200 blockchain enthusiasts including Professor Silvio Micali, founder of Algorand, Turing Award-winning cryptographer, and professor of computer science at MIT to share insights on the existing challenges in the blockchain technology field and the prospect for the blockchain.


During the forum, Dr. Xiang Ruofei discussed with Professor Micali about the possible impact of Shor’s algorithm and quantum computing on Algorand blockchain. Professor Micali believes that before the implementation of quantum computation, what’s to be done is to ensure the steady development of blockchain technology. It is the foundation of all things. He also believes that the development of the Algorand blockchain requires more technological innovations and attempts. Both Dr. Xiang Ruofei and Professor Micali are very optimistic about the development of the blockchain and agreed that only continuous upgrade and evolution of the blockchain technology can fulfil the needs of launching more applications.


3. INT representatives attended the Computing Conference 2018

On September 19th, the Computing Conference 2018 themed as “Empower Digital China” was held in Hangzhou. The Computing Conference hosted by Alibaba Group gathered the most influential minds of the data technology world, exploring how emerging technologies like AI, IoT, machine learning, and blockchain can be made more inclusive and have profound impacts on our economy and daily life. INT will attempt the cooperation with exhibitors on site from the perspective of INT’s business cooperation, technology development, ecological construction, etc.


4. INT officially entered I-lab Incubator

Recently, INT was selected as a high-quality IoT and blockchain project to enter the I-lab incubator. On September 18th, Yin Xiangyu, head of INT China, and Xiang Ruofei, Chief Architect of INTchain, participated in the four-stage “Orientation Entrepreneurship Training Camp” of I-lab. I-lab Incubator is a high-end entrepreneurial acceleration platform established by Shanghai Yidian Group, District Government of Xuhui, Shanghai and Microsoft (China). Relying on Microsoft’s global eco-chain technology innovation and integrating government science and technology resources and the advantages of Yidian Group, the Incubator provides rich and diversified resources for the incubation project, and provide sufficient development space and growth opportunities for the projects through high-quality platforms such as industry chain, investment and financing, market environment and alumni network. It is believed that INT will gain more rapid and efficient development after entering the Incubator.



5. Submission of design ends on September 20th

Gaia Project has been supported by fans since its launch by joining the developer community or entering the competitions. The submission of design ended on September 20. The INT operations team will then conduct a public evaluation in the next 10 days to finalize the winning outstanding works and give them awards.

1. Complete the sampling of router – smart gateway hardware

• The R&D personnel of both INT and Telecom have completed the determination of the model of the router and the self-test and debugging of the function code of the device server. By the end of September, the router sample was officially produced, and the R&D personnel of both parties started the stability test of the sample product, and continued to debug the function of the interface program of the related APP. In terms of product qualification assessment, 3C certification and communication service certification are progressing.

2. Confirm an intelligent information cooperation with a prison in Lishui, Zhejiang

• Intelligent information construction has always been an important area for INT technology research and development and application. Since September, INT and a prison in Lishui, Zhejiang have conducted many informal discussions on the construction of an intelligent information management system. Through communications, the prison party highly recognized INT technology and project plans, and recently finalized the cooperation plan. The total amount of the cooperation project is 3 million RMB. After the National Day holiday, the both parties will complete the signing of the cooperation agreement.

3. Continuous testing and development work of smart gateway hardware

• INT and Telecom evaluated the smart gateway hardware - router stability testing and the APP interface function debugging result, which is used for the adaptation and adjustment of the main chain server function and the improvement of the product for the hardware manufacturer, accelerating the assessment of the product qualification. At the same time, the both parties discussed the initial marketing plan for the online and offline sales, and improved and determined the implementation of the plan.

4. Participate in the bidding for a smart IoT project in a primary school in Quzhou, Zhejiang

• Recently, INT, together with a design institute participated in the planning and design of a new smart IoT project in a primary school in Quzhou, Zhejiang. In the design plan, INT successfully recommended the plan of electronic control system in the classroom in the INT Internet of Things technology. At present, the school is promoting the financial approval process, and the project will be issued after the National Day. 3. The selection of design is in progress

Thanks fans for the active involvement and enthusiastic support, we finally received a total of 70 designs from around the world. At present, the selection is in progress. Currently both parties signed the contract.

3. Bid for a smart IoT project in a primary school in Quzhou, Zhejiang

• INT was invited to participate in the bidding of a smart IoT project in a primary school in Quzhou, Zhejiang. At present, a series of technical solutions for the bidding have all been completed, and the bidding document has been submitted. In the document, INT gave a detailed explanation of the application and achievable effects of the IoT technology in the campus classroom electronic control system.

1. INT technical team attended the "Thunder Chain Technology Salon"

On October 13th, the INT technical team was invited to attend the "Thunder Chain Technology Salon" held in Hangzhou Shiliupu Coffee shop, which was organized by the Thunder Group, the Hangzhou Blockchain Technology and Application Federation and the GeekHub community for discussing blockchain core technology. The Salon gathered senior technical development leaders from Thunder Chain, domestic top university experts, blockchain application developers as well as technical experts, discussing blockchain multi-chain framework, application direction and technology selection strategy, and future blockchain technology development trends. During the event, the INT technical team conducted a discussion on the R&D of the INT project with the technical experts and enthusiasts on the scene.


2. Gaia design competition publicity

3. Gaia article competition selection and publicity

INT Gaia Article Competition submission ended on the 10th of this month. We have received a total of more than 50 articles from global technology enthusiasts, which elaborate the INT project from the perspectives of technical principles, industrial ecology, and commercial applications. Some of the outstanding works will be published in the INT developer community website (http://tech.intchain.io) and INT official social media. At the end of this month, we will publicize the final winning entries.

Smart contracts have been an idea since 1994 when Nick Szabo first coined the term. Relating to the general idea of digitally facilitating and enforcing a contract, smart contracts have been implemented in a wide range of applications from the simple transferring of bitcoin to more complex trees of contracts that serve as the foundation of decentralized exchanges.

Ethereum is arguably the leader in this space with the ability for anyone to create a smart contract and publish it to the blockchain for the Ethereum Virtual Machine to process whenever called upon.


There is one major handicap in the smart contracts of today, they are only able to act with the data that they are given within the blockchain they reside in. This one-dimensionality limits the capability of the contracts to a small subset of applicability and makes the execution speed of the contract dependent on the congestion in the network at the time. Smart contracts for IoT use would have to be smarter, faster and able to utilize information automatically from multiple sources of differing types.


INT’s multi-chain architecture allows for the creation of subchains based on IoT device or purpose. The idea is to create a network of blockchains, all specifically designed for each IoT device, separate in their function but connected at their core. It does this by treating each subchain as a partition of the state with the subchain nodes processing transactions separate from other chains in order to segregate congestion and maintain availability. With this splitting up of network traffic between subchains, contract execution on one chain is not dependent on congestion experienced in another.


By using namespace region declaration, all data within all subchains is stored in the Thearchy chain and available to any contract. This gives contracts the ability to act with input from different IoT devices and any transactions within the network.


INT’s aim is to create a network suitable for all IoT applications with smart contracts that are as easy to develop as they are to use. INT uses JavaScript, one of the most widely used languages, as the smart contract language paired with the powerful and proven Node.js run-time environment as the execution engine. This pair makes learning and development cost much lower than other proprietary language/VM choices.

Node.js allows developers to easily test smart contracts locally before publishing on the blockchain, further reducing development cost and risk of unknown vulnerabilities. It is specifically designed for throughput and scalability by taking the processing and execution of data and events outside what would be the Virtual Machine and processing it locally on the node. This allows for more network throughput and more complex contracts for cheaper gas consumption.

With Node.js, users can create modules that can handle various core functions of the INT network and all subchains. These use an API that standardizes function calls, greatly reduces the complexity of interacting with the network.


Using INT’s native namespacing and the Node.js API, creating powerful, multi-chain smart contracts will be simple and cheap.

INT's Esurfing Blockchain Router, designed and developed in partnership with Zhejiang Telecom will be released soon. The pre-sale will start on Taobao online store on 11th November, also known as “Double Eleven”, the biggest online shopping day of the year in China.

The Esurfing Blockchain Router has been designed as a resource sharing platform for users to share idle bandwidth and storage space, which can act as edge storage and edge computing, and be aggregated into a resource pool. INT’s aim is to optimally call the recourses in the pool and export them to companies in the field of content, video, games, etc. via various capabilities such as CDN and P2P storage. Through a smart contract, the settlement process will be automatically triggered, and the reward of INT tokens will automatically be granted to the users.

INT is focusing on the Chinese market first, so the router is initially only for sale and compatible for use in China due to the difference of mobile operators. In future, INT will upgrade the product and adjust marketing strategies, and will consider expanding the market to other countries when the product is mature.

• In October, the smart gateway project on INT and Zhejiang Telecom has been substantially promoted, and many tasks have been completed. • By the end of last week, preparation work related to test net V3.0 has been basically completed. The R&D team is currently rushing to the final test mission. (85%)
• The testing of adding rpc interface in the main chain is still in progress. At present, the related functions of the intjs corresponding to the middleware have been completed. The implementation form and parameter return of the rpc interface will be examined and debugged for a second round based on the optimization of the previous round. (85%)
• At the beginning of November, preliminary improvements have been made in the improvement of the main chain compression performance. 1. Promotion of INT Esurfing Blockchain Router Project

• On China Double-Eleven Shopping Festival, INT Esurfing Blockchain Router jointly developed by INT and Zhejiang Telecom officially launched online pre-sale. Through the first mover online channel, Chinese online fans are fortunate to be the first group to get this product. Offline sales will be launched through Zhejiang Telecom channels once the product is delivered. The INT team is further negotiating with agents to push the sale of the router in all possible channels. Hardware testing of product samples were completed successfully in the early phase of hardware R&D. The first 2000 orders of the router, 1000 of which were pre-ordered by Zhejiang Telecom for offline sales, is currently in production.

2. Determination of Hubei Industrial Construction Group Dongxi Lake Project

• At the beginning of this month, the leaders from Hubei Industrial Construction Group conducted an in-depth inspection in the smart town and achieved satisfactory results. Afterwards, the HICC clearly stated that they will continue to cooperate with INT team on the application of blockchain technology and scenarios. Therefore, following the preliminary consensus reached on the technical feasibility and implementation ability of the Dangyang project, the technical negotiation are making good progress. At the same time, the Dongxi Lake project has been successfully determined by HICC and INT team after a rapid communication and negotiation. The reporter visits "SlowMist Zone" website and goes to "Submit Bug Bounty" (URL：https://slowmist.io/en/bug-bounty.html) to submit a threat intelligence. (Status: to be reviewed)
Processing Stage
1. Within one working day, the SlowMist Security Team will confirm the threat intelligence report from the "SlowMist Zone", follow up, evaluate the problem, and feed the intelligence back to the INT Chain contact person in the meantime (status: under review).
2. Within three working days, the INT Chain technical team will deal with the problem, draw conclusions and record points (status: confirmed/ignored). They will communicate with the reporter if necessary, and ask the reporter for assistance.
Repairing Stage
1. The INT Chain business department shall repair the security problems in the threat intelligence and update online (status: repaired). The repairing timeframe depends on the problem severity and the repair difficulty. Generally speaking, it is within 24 hours for the critical and high-risk problems, within 3 working days for the medium-risk problems, and within 7 working days for the low-risk problems. The App security issue is limited by the version release, and the repairing timeframe is on a case-by-case basis.

• Up to now, INT Esurfing Blockchain Router developed with Zhejiang Telecom has completed system development and hardware testing, including router proofing, stability testing, development and two-round testing of IOS and Android APP, Web version and background system development, APP interface program function debugging, interface improvement and so on. All system functions of the router are running perfectly. In addition, the pre-sale of the Esurfing Smart Router launched in the Double-Eleven Shopping Festival also ended, and the first batch of pre-sale products are in production.

2. Continue to promote Hubei Industrial Construction Group Dongxi Lake Project

• After the determination of Hubei Industrial Construction Group Dongxi Lake Project, most of the project payment process and invoicing procedures is underway already. The two parties are preparing preliminary project implementation plans and conducting in-depth discussions on the implementation rules. At the same time, the technical communication of the Dangyang project is further advanced. During the period, INT conducted an in-depth analysis of the difficulties in the actual application of the project and gave several feasible solutions from the technical level. The detailed communication between the two parties is in progress.

3. Partial delivery of equipment for the prison project in Lishui, Zhejiang

• Since the technical personnel developed and implemented solutions in the process of equipment commissioning, the equipment installation and commissioning has made good progress, and the partial delivery of equipment has been completed. 60% of the project funds have been put in place. For the equipment system operation scenario switching problem proposed by the project side, the technical team has adjusted the relevant technical parameters, and the next test work is in progress.

4. Promoting the bidding for a smart IoT project in a primary school in Quzhou, Zhejiang

• In response to the new smart engineering project under preparation by the school, it has been tendered online recently. The school has shown great interest in the technical realization ideas proposed by INT, and believes that this idea has both enlightening and practical significance for the new intelligent project. They also specially selected INT as a key technology supplier and invited INT to participate in the bidding. At present, the tenders submitted by INT are in the process of review. The two parties are further communicating in the technical ideas and implementation details.

Next Step Plan

1. Continue to promote Hubei Industrial Construction Group Dongxi Lake Project

• In the past two weeks, INT signed a technical cooperation agreement with Hubei Industrial Construction Group. Next, the two parties will quickly promote the relevant procedures of the agreement, analyze and construct the technical realization framework of the project, and promote the smooth development of the project. In addition, for the practical difficulties in the Dangyang project, INT will strengthen technical communication with the project side, quickly develop low-cost and high-feasibility solutions, and discuss in detail the implementation ideas and methods.

2. INT Chain testnet launch on December 14

With numerous days and nights of researching and developing, INT team had been continuously optimizing and upgrading the main chain, completed the core design such as P2P network communication protocol, the consensus algorithm and smart contract. After rounds of promotion for the INT Esurfing Blockchain Router, the pre-sale was completed on December 12th. This pre-sale has aroused the attention and discussion of many technology enthusiasts. Majority of INT fans had a heated discussion and consultation on the technology and application of the Router. The sales of INT Esurfing Blockchain Router is as expected. The first batch of 2000 routers are in production, and once completed, it will be delivered to the consumers immediately. 1. Continuous technical perfection of INT main chain

• The INT Chain testnet was officially launched on December 14th. The wallet Web version, explorer and full-node wallet were also released. The team is collecting valuable comments and suggestions from users and discuss and implement solutions; (40%)
• Since INT Chain joined the Slowmist Zone to carry out the security audit, a number of community members actively participated in the bounty programme. The INT team has communicated with community technology enthusiasts and resolved problems they submitted; (80%)

• With respect to the impersonation problem in the P2P network, the INT team has taken instant measures, drafting a solution and improving it. The testing related to the P2P network is ongoing; (60%)
• The team has made preliminary progress regarding the revamp of the INT official website and will improve the layout, consistency, typography, color and style. (50%)

2. INT wallet and blockchain explorer improvement

• On December 14th, the Web full-node wallet was released simultaneously with the INT Chain testnet. As of now, the INT team has received many valuable feedbacks from users, and the R&D team will solve the feedback; (70%)
• Several bugs found in the explorer were fixed. The technical team will continue to follow up the feedback submitted by users; (85%)
• The technical team added a new Keystore import function to the full-node wallet and improved the data display, solved the problems found by the users and conducted related testing. (95%)

The whole system development and hardware testing of INT Esurfing Blockchain Router had been completed and the Router is running perfectly. The first batch of pre-sale products have been produced and will be sent out soon.

2. Partial delivery of equipment for the prison project in Lishui, Zhejiang

At present, the prison project in Lishui, Zhejiang is in the process of installing and commissioning of smart equipment. In response to the problem of equipment system operation scenario switching proposed by the project party, the technical team initially adjusted some parameters and carried out test adjustment on the equipment, then, further fine-tuning the parameters based on the problems occurred in the test. With the joint efforts of the technical team and the project party, the delivery of most of the equipment has been completed, and 70% of the project funds have been received.

3. Winning the bid of the passenger station smart IoT project in Quzhou, Zhejiang

Based on the previous communication with the relevant smart IoT project in Quzhou, the INT team has been recognized for its technical capabilities and feasibility. Recently, INT was invited to participate in the bidding for the smart IoT project of a passenger station in Quzhou, Zhejiang. In the project bidding, the INT team submitted the project tender and carried out detailed technical discussions on the content of the tender with the project party, and finally won the bid with outstanding technical advantages and rich project application experience. At present, the two parties are negotiating on the content and process of the project contract, and the contract will be signed immediately after the challenge period.

4. Promoting the bidding for the smart IoT project in a primary school in Quzhou, Zhejiang

The bidding of new smart engineering project proposed by the school is still in progress. During the tender review process, the INT team conducted a detailed interpretation of the core technologies involved in the smart IoT project and proposed the technical ideas and implementation details. The presupposition and solution of the obstacles that may occur during the implementation of the project show the extremely high feasibility of the project, which greatly enhances the school’s confidence in project cooperation. The tender is currently under review and it is expected that the school will announce the results of the tender this week.

The prison project in Lishui, Zhejiang has been processed for more than half, partial equipment has been delivered, and the remaining equipment is still in the process of commissioning. At 5:00 pm on December 21, 2018, INT Chain’s first online AMA (Ask Me Anything) was held at the INT Chain Offical telegram channel. INT Chief Scientist Dr. Xiang Ruofei was present to answer the questions for the global community users about the testnet, wallet and explorer.

As the first attempt of the INT team, the online AMA won the high attention and active participation of global supporters. Since INT released the AMA notice, many investors actively submitted questions on Reddit. Next, INT team will organize a series of AMAs regarding mainnet technology, nodes, DApp, ecological construction, and applications. Community technology enthusiasts and investors are welcome to pay close attention to INT official news and actively participate in discussions on related topics.

2. INT attended the Block Club Global Blockchain Industry Application Alliance Forum · Hangzhou

On December 17, 2018, the BlockClub Global Blockchain Industry Application Alliance Forum, jointly hosted by the Block360 and Jiran Blockchain Research Institute and supported by a large number of media was held successfully in Hangzhou. The theme of the forum was promoting and accelerating the development of blockchain technology. The “Thearchy Chain” is the core of the INT’s entire architecture, which consists of servers provided by device manufacturers, community leaders and ecological enterprises (namely Thearchy Nodes). The basis for Thearchy Node generation is the INT consensus algorithm -DPoS+dBFT, which realize high TPS while ensuring the fairness of node election. INT Chain “Thearchy Node” will be generated by the community voting and there will be 13 Thearchy Nodes. The INT Foundation will officially launch the Thearchy Node election at the time of mainnet launch. By then 13 Thearchy Nodes will jointly build the INT Chain global ecosystem.

INT Chain Node Plan Ecological Blueprint

INT Chain Node plan is divided into two phases:

1.Mainnet live phase: the number of Thearchy Nodes is 13 and the rest are candidate nodes. Top 100 nodes voted are eligible for incentives, called “reward node”. The Thearchy Node provides INT Chain with networking, storage, computing, etc. INT Chain encourages each Thearchy Node to build and develop their own communities and hopes that all the global community members with different backgrounds can jointly grow the whole INT Chain global ecosystem.

2.Node expansion phase: it could happen at least one year later. The specific time and number of nodes depend on the development of the community. The longer-term node expansion plan will be determined by the community in the future.

INT Chain Node Election Details (Mainnet Live Phase)

1.All registered nodes are considered as candidate nodes. Please check Annex 1 for the Node Deployment Process. A block is generated every 10 seconds. The voting circles every 364 blocks successfully generated, approximately 1 hour. The top 100 candidate nodes will be recorded as reward nodes in real time every time a block generates, and the top 13 reward nodes will be the Thearchy Nodes in the voting cycle.

2.In the initial stage of mainnet launch, considering the security of the mainnet, the INT team will initiate the first 13 Genesis Thearchy Nodes and will provide 5,000,000 INT for voting for the 13 Genesis Nodes.

3.The Thearchy Nodes elected are responsible for block generation during the next round of voting as well as other related works such as transaction verification, bookkeeping, block packing and confirmation in the INT Chain. The Thearchy Nodes will receive the corresponding rewards and be supervised by the INT Chain global community.

4.Any individual or institution holding an INT can vote for candidate nodes during the election. Each INT can vote for up to 20 candidate nodes. Voters can cancel or change their votes at any time. The corresponding INT for voting will be locked and cannot be traded. Voters can cancel their votes at any time for trade.

5.The candidate nodes can come from industries include but are not limited to: Internet of Things, media, exchanges, capital, e-commerce, logistics, biomedical, network security, etc.

6.The influence factors of becoming a Thearchy Node include server configuration, network bandwidth, deployment status. There is no requirement for holdings of INT.


INT Chain Node Incentives

In order to better maintain INT Chain network, the INT team expects to spend 20 million INT per year as node rewards by 2023. The reward will be all paid out of the INT Chain Foundation's dedicated wallet.

The specific reward distribution rules are as follows:

1.The Thearchy Node will receive 30% of the rewards mentioned above. Whenever a block is generated, the Thearchy Node who is responsible for generating the block will receive the corresponding block reward. It is beneficial to motivate the node maintainer to continuously upgrade the device and improve the TPS in the whole network.

2.The Reward Node will receive 50% of the rewards according to the number of votes every time a block is generated. This rule is to solve the problem that the distribution rule is too single and improve the activity and stability of the entire network.

3.20% of the reward will be distributed to all voters. This is for encouraging the whole community to actively participate in the voting.

Remark: All the rewards will be issued within seven working days.

After the success of block generation, Thearchy Node can obtain not only the rewards issued by the INT Chain Foundation and the block reward but also the transaction fee for the corresponding block which will be granted in real time. At the same time, reward nodes can obtain a certain amount of rewards according to the above article 2).

In the future, any adjustments to the above distribution rules may be proposed by any one of 13 Thearchy Nodes based on community opinions. After more than 2/3 of the Thearchy Nodes agree with the proposal, the new distribution rules can take effect.


INT Chain Node Incentive Details

1. As a Thearchy Node

• Block reward

For each block, the Thearchy Node will receive 1.9025874 INT.

Note: 1.9025874 INT = (total reward amount per year/total block number per year) *30%

• Transaction fee

The Thearchy Node will receive the transaction fee for the generated block in real time.

2. As a Reward Node (Thearchy Node is also a Reward Node)

The Reward Node will receive INT according to the proportion of votes obtained in each round of voting as long as a block is successfully generated.

For example, in the first round of voting, when the 50th block is generated, the Candidate Node A ranks 50th and the number of votes obtained at this time is 1000, and the total number of votes on the whole network is 10000 (which is the total votes of the top 100 candidate nodes at that moment), therefore, the vote ratio of the candidate node A is 1000/10000*100%=10%, and the candidate node will obtain 10%*3.170979=0.3170979 INT.

Note: 3.170979 INT = (total reward amount per year/total block number per year) *50%

3. As a voter

Assume that from the beginning of the first round of the voting cycle to the end of the second round, voter A, voter B, and voter C simultaneously participate in the voting, and the sum of votes is as follows:[/size][/font]

User B will get: 50/(40+50+50)*364*1.2683916=164.89091 INT

INT Chain Node Penalty Mechanism

In order to ensure the stability of the network, we have determined the corresponding punishment mechanism. If a Thearchy Node did not generate any block during a consecutive 2184 blocks generation period, it would be automatically removed from the node list and disqualified from block generation in the current and next 24 rounds (about 24 hours). We will immediately launch a temporary election.


INT Chain Thearchy Node Configuration Requirements

Thearchy Node is required to own a strong performance server. Otherwise, the function of Thearchy Node cannot work, and the Thearchy Node will be automatically disqualified. For all Thearchy Nodes, the server configuration must meet at least the following specifications:



FAQ

Q: What if I don’t have the technical skills to run a node, how does it work, what return can I expect, what support will INT give to me, etc.
A: Please refer to Annex 1 (INT Node Deployment Guide) to complete the configuration of the node running environment. If you just want to become a normal node (i.e. a candidate node), there is no need to have a dedicated server and the normal network environment will be fine. If you want to be a Thearchy Node, you must meet the INT Chain Thearchy Node configuration requirements. When a candidate node is listed in the top 100 list in each round of voting cycle and in the block generation period, it will become a reward node and obtain rewards.

Q: Will the elected Thearchy Nodes be able to share a portion (%) of their profits to their voters? If yes, will the Thearchy Nodes decide how often (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) they distribute these rewards?
A: The INT team will spend 4 million INT per year as the reward to encourage community members to participate in the voting. Whether Thearchy Nodes share their profits or not depends on the Thearchy Nodes themselves.

Q: Is there a minimum time (lock-up) when mortgaging INT tokens? If yes, could you explain the impact on vote + profit sharing when un-mortgaging our tokens.
A: There is no lock-up period and users can unmortgage them at any time. Once unmortgaged, the corresponding number of votes will be canceled and so will the possible voting rewards.

Q: When running another node than Thearchy (Supernode for example), do you also need to store your tokens in the INT-wallet? If yes, can you run such a node (Supernode in our example) and vote at the same time for a Thearchy node? In that way you can generate double profits?
A: No need. Only when the user wants to participate in voting, INT must be stored in the INT wallet to mortgage and vote.


Annex 1. INT Node Deployment Guide

Preparation: Please register a new INT wallet address through the Web wallet, save the node address and the corresponding private key.

1.Start a peer node according to the GitHub tutorial (https://github.com/intfoundation/int).

2.Register a candidate node with INTjs code or RPC request (http://docs.intchain.io/intjs/#register>). If successful, you can find your INT node address in the node list page of block explorer.

3.Try to vote for yourself by using the web wallet to see whether it is successful or not.

4.Start a miner on the server by using your private key of the candidate node. Only starting the miner can a Thearchy Node generate the blocks.

Remark: After finishing the above process, the node address will be automatically updated to the node voting list on INT Web wallet and the node list on INT explorer.

This year, INT Chain’s first use case product- INT’s Esurfing Blockchain Router, designed and developed in partnership with Zhejiang Telecom was produced and marketed. We made the first step in applying INT Chain to the real world.
This year, INT domestic and international community developed rapidly, reaching 108,701 members. I had in-depth communications and discussion with members from France, Germany, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, China and other countries. I am grateful for your ongoing support and encouragement.

The whole system development and hardware testing of INT Esurfing Blockchain Router had been completed and the Router is running perfectly. The team is continuously monitering the running status. The first batch of pre-sale products had been produced and was delivered on January 1st. Now The operation platform of the router is live now.

2. Partial delivery of equipment for the prison project in Lishui, Zhejiang

The equipment installing and commissioning for the prison project in Lishui, Zhejiang is progressing in an orderly manner. In response to the problem of equipment system operation scenario switching, after the technical team repeatedly adjusted and modified the parameters, some of the parameter ratios were finally determined, and the equipment commissioning work achieved initial results. For the operational status and performance of the delivered equipment, the technical members continue to follow up and test repeatedly to ensure that the equipment is running flawlessly. Up to now, 80% of the project funds have been received, and a small amount of equipment is still in tight commissioning.

3. Promotion of the passenger station smart IoT project in Quzhou, Zhejiang

Previously, INT was invited to participate in the bidding for the smart IoT project of a passenger station in Quzhou, Zhejiang. With outstanding technical advantages and rich project application experience, INT was recognized by the project party and won the bid immediately. Recently, the results of the bidding have been publicized. The two parties are communicating in-depth on the specific details of the contract and discuss the application of technology. 4. Video of INT Chain Node Plan Preview

On January 8, 2019, Dr. Xiang Ruofei, the chief scientist of INT, announced the time of the INT Chain node plan release in the form of video, and called on the community to actively participate in the node election.
Dr. Xiang mentioned in the video that 2019 is a crucial year for INT Chain. On January 9th, the new official website was released. On January 10th, the INT Chain Thearchy node plan was officially released globally. The plan includes the node plan ecological blueprint, incentives, penalty mechanism, election details, node configuration, vote guide and other information. The basis for Thearchy Node generation is the INT consensus algorithm - DPoS+dBFT, which realize high TPS while ensuring the fairness of node election. 2. Node election

According to the node plan released, the node election is also started at the time of mainnet launch. In the initial stage of mainnet launch, considering the security of the mainnet, the INT team will initiate the first 13 Genesis Thearchy Nodes to generate blocks. All individuals or organizations interested in becoming a Thearchy Node should register according to the “INT Node Deployment Guide”. As long as the registration is completed, they are regarded as a candidate node. 3. Token swap

Currently, the tokens that INT investors hold to trade are ERC20 tokens, which are based on the Ethereum network. Now, as we move to our independent mainnet, we begin exchanging the ERC20 INT tokens to INT Mainnet Coin, a native coin for the INT Chain Mainnet. 4. Web wallet

2. INT Chain second AMA on node plan was successfully held

Since the first AMA of INT Chain was well recognized by the community members, INT Chain launched the second AMA in the official telegram channel regarding the node plan at 17:30 on January 12. This AMA still invited INT Chief Scientist Dr. Xiang Ruofei to answer the questions from INT community. During the AMA, Dr. Xiang Ruofei answered the questions via voice messages which was greatly praised by the members.

3. INT Chain Thearchy node election officially started

According to the node plan released by INT Chain, the node election was simultaneously started with the mainnet. In this node election, each individual or organization with intentions can register based on the INT Node Deployment Guide, and are considered as candidate nodes once registration is completed. The Thearchy node will be generated by community voting and the top 13 nodes will be the Thearchy nodes, responsible for generating blocks in the next round of voting, and get the block reward, transaction fee and INT’s reward. Up to now, 99 candidate nodes have been registered, and some nodes have canvassed in the community. 4. INT Chain token swap was officially launched

With the INT Chain mainnet launch, the INT token swap has also been officially launched. 1. INT to construct a community and DAPP ecology

After the launch and stable operation of INT's mainnet, the work related to global community and DAPP development will also start. In the New Year, INT will join hands with the selected Thearchy Nodes in the node plan to build a new INT global ecological community. In addition, a series of competitions related to the INT Chain DAPP development will be prepared. We hereby welcome the INT community and technology enthusiasts to actively pay attention to and participate in the construction of INT global community and DAPP ecology.

when will you get decent exchange? I dont want to put 10k to Bitfinex to be able to buy or sell INT

Hallo everyone
I dont know if this is the right place but i have a question. I have some int on myetherwallet but i cant move them. If i Type in my exchange int adresse (starting with INT...) or my NEW int wallet adresse there Stands always Invalid adress. Can somebody Help me plz?

How can I swap my coins?

Anyone knows what happened with this thread and/or @INT-CHAIN account?
Or at least if there is a new thread around here, since I was unable to find any up-to-date thread on Google.
 

This project is more alive then ever!
The team will release a new Mainnet Version 4.0 in August. The project is still around IOT but also allow other usecases like DeFi etc.
