Title: Radeon HD 5570. Can't gind OpenCL devices
Post by: yigh on March 22, 2011, 02:04:08 AM
Started moving up from CPU mining to GPU mining. I am on a Vista x64.
I installed ATI stream SDK 2.3 and 10/12/2010 version of the driver for my video card, but Diablo miner, Poclbm mining programs all say my system does not support OpenCL.
I've seen on the forums and wiki that people have gotten GPU mining to work with Radeon HD 5570 card, so I am stuck on what to do next.

Thanks for all tips

Welcome to bitcoin mining.

Uninstall the ati driver & sdk 2.3 u have completely using some uninstallers like revo uninstaller.
Download & install https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/10-10_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_ocl.exe

Have 93 Mhash/s on HD5570@845/1500, but it's really hot :)
Using Stream SDK 2.4 & Phoenix  with "-k phatk DEVICE=0 VECTORS AGGRESSION=11 -v FASTLOOP=false BFI_INT WORKSIZE=128" comandline.
Use MSI and put fan to 100%
