I recieved my DualMiner ASIC yesterday and I really want to get things working as soon as possible.

Here's some background:
1.Since the DualMiner miner app isn't available for Macs yet,I had to run it via VMWare Fusion 6 (connect DualMiner via VMs USB port,then run miner) MY desktop PC wouldn't even work with this so had to use my mac for this.
2.I had to install the driver manually since it wasn't automatically recognised like the Dualminer install guide said it would (Win 8.1 Pro on the VM)
3.The miner detects everything as it should but I get this rather annoying error message 'Can not connect to cgminer monitor thread exit' in the miner app even though I got all my details correct (us.clevermining.com port 3333 username 1AwgPR37CMjqfHKjLMXmGjEp8wR8ZaizBV pw 1)

Can someone who knows more about this please help me get up and running? Thanks :)

Update:Mods can you please delete this thread as it's no longer relevant now?
Reason:I discovered that a bad USB port on my USB Hub (6 ports built into my 24in LCD monitor) was to blame for the timeouts.

Using another port on the hub resolved my issue.Tip to all ASIC users,avoid using USB extension cables as they'll just mess things up with USB hubs. :)
