In my personal opinion only few coins like bitcoin, ethereum and few other coins will last that long, all other faster then bullet, partnership coins,and many other shitcoin will die. what you think?

Yes many of the altcoins were worthless so it may hide in few years but there were lot of new coins created by people everyday so at 2015 the number of crypto currencies were in usage will be more than now.But we need to pick only the best coins to invest so the shit coins will fade away by themselves.

I think 100 top ranking coin according to market cap will still exist in the market in that years, and the demand will increasing because my prediction in every years the market cap of crypto will be increase and growing, in that times the market cap of crypto can be around $10 or $50 trillion . Currently there are more than 4000 coin and token tradeable in the market and some of them can be die later because no demand and lost value.

Many coins are able to survive such a long time as many people still earn the altcoins along with the bitcoin of course most bitcoin and ethereum are just what they are investing so it will last until the world knows it.

Only few coins that available today will still have value in 2025. Most of the alts will be hard to survive due to lack of support but maybe the new coins will be created during that time hence the number of altcoin will still high I guess. Bitcoin and ethereum are the two coins that in my opinion will last longer.

In my opinion we have a huge altcoin related bubble burst ahead of us. I think it will happen before 2025. This bubble will burst and it will burst hard. Only a couple of alts will survive this "crypto winter", so to speak. I don't count bitcoin here, because in my opinion bitcoin is totally safe. Unfortunately a lot of people will lose money. I don't see how this could be avoided. Which coins will survive is a good question and it is really really hard to say. I don't know if Ethereum is even totally safe. After the bubble, there will be a consolidation, and a couple of coins will take the lead with bitcoin on top of them.

Yes I totally agree with you. Nowadays launching a coin is very easy. Also there are no regulations governing the cryptocurrency market. So many people are doing that without having an actual objective. So those are only made for speculation. I think many such shitcoins will get the result even before 2025. Only the best ones will survive. You cannot succeed without an idea for long term.

I think many coins will last till 2025.  I hope The top coins of Coinmarketcap are still available in the market. Some coins will be destroyed and new coins will be created.

I believe that, like I said crypto is similar with commodities and I believe the history will also same. Until now only top 1 - 5 coins that recommended to use as asset to make money. New coins is good but they will not survive even have good concept and developer team, the market will give them the answer. Keep follow your plan but always use top 1 - 5 coins only.

While the coins at the very top of the market cap are the ones that have the greatest support from the community you will see that many are newcomers and have not existed for long, so out of the top 20 the ones I think are still going to be around by that time are Bitcoin, ETH, LTC, Monero, Dash and ETC, some of the coins currently in those positions could still be around but to me that is not a sure thing, only the 6 that I named have a very high chance of being alive at that time, and once you understand this you realize how volatile this market really is since I only selected 30% of the coins at the top, can you imagine the survival rate for the rest of the coins? It is probably below 5%.

Actually, there is no solid evidence for this. A lot of coins have ranked top 100 in the past and have gone into oblivion. Take bitconnect (scam coin) for example that actually ranked top 50 but no where to be found today!

We don't have crystal ball to predict what will happened in crypto in 2025 so basically no one knows. The span to 2025 is just a short one and there are lots of reasons to believed that bitcoin will still the dominating crypto at that time. Much realistic than to think that crypto will now be dead at that time.

What are the other coins? Well who knows. Even there are coins that will be out of the league in the upcoming years, expect that there are new coins that will be create to joined the crypto world.

I believe yes. Coins like bitcoin has the capability to last for years like it is doing right now. Coins which existed for years is still capable of reaching the best value until the coming years which is really an advantage for hodlers who always hope for the best value. That is just a sign that we could hodl until 2025 if we want to.

Actually difficult to judge or early prediction what will happen in the altcoins specially the shitcoins or the altcoins with have cheapest value and until a year aren't increasing their price, but i will wait what will happen who is IN or out.

Your statements are well om point. Between now and 2025, A lot is bound to have happened to the crypto space. Since the future can't be predicted, Even Bitcoin might not be at the top by then (change is constant in life) But by then, I expect the crypto adoption rate to be quite but that's if the technology is continously improved to meet up modern standards for the financial industry. There's so much to expect and so much to look forward to in 2025.

I believe major coins that are in top 10 or so right now will be alive in 2125 let alone 2025, I am very bullish on the futures of the coins, now yes EOS and so forth might not be really around and might be overthrown by some other coin however coins that are also very old like bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, dash and litecoin will stay because these coins have been providing us with steady results ever since they came up years ago.

Specially bitcoin, it will never get old and it will never be outdone by any other coin, and its only 7 years or so away from 2025 so we are not that far away, it will be around and it will be really expensive compared to prices right now. Bitcoin will certainly make 2025 as one its another great year but not sure about most other coins which are living only due to hypes and not due to real world applications.

there have been a lot of altcoins years ago which people thought will be still on top and strong just because at that time they were on top of the list like #1 altcoin but eventually their bubbles burst and they started their descent to their graves. some of them are already dead and some are still around but nobody even remembers their names.
this trend will not change anytime soon because these "major" coins  are still the same bad coins that just got bigger than  they should have been.

There are a massive amount of coins (over 1500 listed on coinmarketcap), Only the established coins will be around by 2025.  There will most likely be some new tech coins by then that do things we can't even imagine.  The only two coins I'm 100 percent sure that will still be around and supported are Bitcoin and Ethereum

While I do not see any objective reasons to suppose that some part of major coins will be died till 2025. On the contrary I read many articles and expert's opinions that some countries, banks, big companies are going to use cryptocurrencies to decrease the negative effects of the future financial an economical crisis which will likely happen quite soon. Even let us suppose that some major coins will be combined together to make a new coin, of course, theoretically it is possible but there are not reasons for that and I have not heard any similar ideas and intentions from the officials members. However I can suppose that some of major coins will be shifted from the list of the major coins by new perspective ones but it does not mean that the current major coins will be totally killed. The will probably less popular with less capitalization and trading activity in case of losing the leader positions of them.

As long as you have confidence over those coins then it you’ll be fine. In my opinion crypto is changing the world and most likely it will be worth more. It's just beginning, yet mass adoption is waiting so could easily major coins will dominate that time.

Yes, large coins will live in 2025. Progress and globalization will lead to the fact that crypto-currencies will be massively used throughout the world.

The crypto market is not different from a real life business. That said, what happens now with the crypto world is that many people create cryptos without that same altcoin has use in real life, is not a currency that has practical use in real life, if you create something that has no practical use, she will simply die over time. For those of me who are ranked 50 and above, and some just junk coins that make most people lose their money after investing in these coins, many coins are forgotten by most people and are very scary to invest, so all will not survive for the future, what is clear is that Bitcoin and Ethereum will remain at the peak of future glory, support everywhere guarantees its development.

It will I believe in the coins from top1 to 100 and I think that it will stay in cryptocurrency forever. What I meant for staying is that it will go through a lot of things but these coins will not die. It will not lose price, project will develop. That's what I believed into.

All the major coins which have a good concept and a good developer who develops the project and runs it . their are lot of coins whose projects are going in very good in coming times their price will be very good

There have been much lately and as I see it they are using it for their own services so this is harder to predict.
If one project look like they are going to end up with long term services then they will be alive for as long as they could.

Examples are payment for towing services like CarTaxi which is successful with their ICO but yet cannot receive that greater value they want for their coin. They could stay for long since there is usage. Question is, are customers willing to go that far to buy their coins to be used for their service while they can also pay with their credit cards.

I actually think that the opposite thing will happen, by that time Bitcoin and Ethereum have reached its maturity and the market as well as the traders will now look for other opportunities to grow their money in the cryptocurrency market which means they will be moving their money in lesser-known cryptocurrencies with good potential. Bitcoin won't stay as the king forever there are a lot of good coins out there worthy to be the number one in terms of its market cap, this traders are now even starting now in venturing into other coins by participating in ICOs.

This is a good question and IMO what people here should be discussing.  Everyone (bounty hunters, I'm lookin' at you) seems to be mostly concerned with very short-term profits from coins that have no demonstrable utility.  In other words, people are looking for the next bitcoin as it existed in 2009.

The fact as I see it is that most of these shitcoins aren't going to be used for anything other than speculation.  Their very existence depends on a network of people maintaining blockchains, and I don't see most of them having that kind of support in 7 years--not even in 2 years.  Coins get pumped and then they get dumped.  Once it's all over, they end up in the 1-satoshi graveyard on exchanges like Yobit. 

These are all supposed to be currencies.  In other words, money to be used to buy goods & services.  So far even bitcoin hasn't totally gained traction in that area.  Merchants still don't accept it.  Landlords don't accept it.  Utility companies don't, grocery stores don't, gas stations don't.  And I'd say if that's the case with the most popular cryptocurrency, what chance do these shitcoins have?

It's difficult to predict. Although the mood in the crypto market is reminiscent of the days of the dotcom companies, there are signs that the market could get even bigger. However, some agree that most cryptos will not survive a crash in the market, and those that survive will go on to dominate.
We may just have to wait till 2025 to find out what really happens.

Maybe your opinion is true because if some coins will not full develop in many years that coin will gone and be unlisted in the market. And of course the main coins that in top 10 in crypto market will last longer because that is in demand to all crypto users.

As the market develops well over the years, there is no reason why big coins like BTC and ETH will disappear. Cryptocurrency is a potential market and I highly value it, I believe this market will become a big financial market in the next few years.

If developers of crypto currency projects do not improve their companies, then of course their tokens will depreciate. But if the team will actively develop its technology, then they will remain in the crypto currency market until 2025.

This is something that I have noticed as well, this shows to me that regardless of the market cap of a coin, if that coin does not really have an use then that coin is going to eventually go back to its real value which is zero.

Investors should be aware of this, if someone invest money in a coin just because it has a high market cap then he is not an investor, he is a speculator and while money can be made that way the real question is, if the person thinks he is willing to take that kind of risk?

Many people think they are ready until they face a crash like the one we saw and they finally realize their mistake, it is too late for them but nor for us that are watching the reality of the market of altcoins and how most of them will probably not be around in the next years.

If one project fails, they will try again to build another until they finally succeed in duplicating the success of bitcoin. The question should be, would the major coins that is alive in 2025, actually better than we have today? I hope so.

In 7 years a lot of coins will stay including the shitty ones because they'll follow the price of Bitcoin. If the price would be lower than where we are now then I might take back what I said. The sad truth is that as long as these coins are listed on websites like coinmarketcap and maintains a decent trading volume I don't think these major coins would die in less than a decade. One example is a fork like BCH.

I do not think big coins will live in 2025. A coin will depend on the investment of the players more or less, how the price of it, how the transaction is made? In the electronic market there are a lot of coins that exist until 2025. The most important coin is the highest price.

the only one i'd be 100% certain of is bitcoin. everything else is fair game.

ethereum had better get its act together because it's looking more like a prototype for a real contract coin every day. litecoin needs to actually be used for something.

monero is the other one but it needs to become less painful to use and i fully expect privacy coins to be driven out of conventional markets as the price for doing business.

It's clear that Ethereum won't be going anywhere, regardless of what people think about it. I don't like it either, but we can't just blindly discard it and act like it will vanish at some point.

People like Ethereum and will keep backing it just like how Bitcoiners are backing Bitcoin. It does everything its users want it to do, which is giving them direct access to a do-it-all platform.

Ethereum made sure that there likely won't be any token growing out larger, and this directly benefits Bitcoin as well. Ethereum basically killed the entire token market and we should be thankful for that.

That is likely to be true. The top major coins in the marketcap are already proving their importance in because a lot of big players are beting their fortune on it. Maybe not only 2025 but more than that because they will be in the financial ecosystem.

Actually it is hard to tell the future of Crypto currencies except for the crap coins in which for sure by next year they will belong to the list of dead coins. I disagree many of the coins do not last even one year in the market they disappear very fast and in fact many of the coins do not even last that long but those that invested in those coins refuse to accept the truth that the coins in which they invested died and they try to keep promoting it extending its life when the developers have just disappeared or they do not care about the project anymore.

This your question is something else. It is like you are asking someone to look into the future and tell you what will happen in 2025, that's like in a 6 years time. I am a bitcoin believer and i have benefited a lot from it. One thing about this game is that you can never predict it. The volatile nature of the market is crazy, and if you have checked past years, you will notice that many good coins have died off and more good projects are still coming. Bitcoin being one the coins that will last longer but how 2025 is what i can't guess.

We actually do not know about the cryptos that either they will continue to exist or will wanish. To me I think that there are some good coins which will surely exist and may be trading in a very good price. So we need to identify such coins as do investment there.

No one really knows whats the future ahead because it could happen that all of them may die and only bitcoin will survive as the major crypto currency. Remember that rest of the coins are just made up coins which are being created for raising he funds for specific projects. Now these projects may last longer or they may get killed very quickly with the time due to less usability of their coins and thus no further investment in them. People might get tired of getting scammed one day and may just invest into the BTC for safety and security of their investment.  ;)

Most of the coins currently existing will be dead in fiver years, you are completely correct in that and I agree but the big problem is that there is nothing stopping people from creating new coins to replace those that died and as long as there is naive people that think they can become rich fast with cryptocurrencies then new scam coins are going to keep appearing.

And we cannot do anything about it since we cannot regulate the market since anyone that can code or that has an idea can release an ico, so I think that this is a problem that will last for a very long time and it is not going to diminish until people learn their lesson and understand that most coins are scams or unprofitable projects.

I do think that there will be a top 10 cryptocurrencies in 2025. But also I can say that not all the top 10 today's cryptocurrency will be included into that list. Probably only a few of them will be present.

Most of the coins floating around right now will be on their way to total irrelevance before the year is out, let alone more than half a decade into the future. I'm really interested to see what does make it. It's certainly not always the most rational choice either.

Most of what was up there back in the day is now outright junk. That's only a few years back. By 2025 the whole crypto scene will be unimaginably larger with vastly more expertise to hand as well. I'll wager most of what'll be at the top by then does not exist yet.

It's also possible that the idea of any of these coins being in any sort of competition will be laughable by then. Bitcoin does one job. Others do totally separate things. It'll be a much, much healthier space when that idea is dropped.

A majority of coins die right after they are listed on an exchange as the bounty hunters sell their coins and dumps the coin to its death so no one else buys that coin and this makes the coin dead in just a matter of few days after the launch on the exchange. So there won't be so many coins in the future as there are currently as the ICO trend is also coming to a halt.

Hmm. To project that far in advance is quite something. However, I think by that time is highly likely that the blockchain technology is up and running,massively improved of course, but its hard to imagine that none of our current top coins will live that long. Depends to the coin, because they have altcoins even it's very potential they have end and possible to die. Remember the price and how long live the coin is depends to investor. If we take care the coin even 20 years more from now the coin will live long. But if we leave the one coin for example anytime it will die. But I think they have few coins who are not potential are possible to still alive in 2025. Because they have coins who needs to discover the potential and if the people see that they will invest on that and they start to pump . There is no surety for this thing. It might happen that more and more crypto start developing and we will be seeing a pool of amazing coins in future. We all know the incoming time is a digital world and surely this digital world is all about technology and crypto is strong technology that is involved with economics. So we must be ready to embrace a good time ahead.

There'll always be plenty on the fringes but I expect major exchanges to be much bigger and much more discerning about what they list. I don't think a shitcoin will be able to spring out of nowhere like they have done this year.

Most likely it will. This list includes NEO. I think that in the future, first of all, behind blockchains and exchange coins. Also, I think that state crypto currencies will gradually appear. If decentralized exchanges actually become platforms used by people to trade their coins then it is entirely possible that even if the future you are describing comes to pass and centralized exchanges become more selective about the coins they list, a new market where these useless coins can be traded freely will emerge.

I really do not see a solution to this problem, this is a free market and anyone can create a new coin if they want, it is a shame people have used this freedom to fill the market with useless projects, a possibility could be that the market of cryptocurrencies is only available to accredited investors but the nature of this market makes it impossible to impose such restrictions, so I suppose we will have to endure this market to be polluted by projects like that for a long time.

By 2025, many coins must have gone into extinction and the chaff must have been sieved out. Most coins I believe would die off and only coins with sold technology would survive. The likes of etherum and the likes are going to survive in my opinion

It's been a long time since we've been able to predict what will happen. But with the crypto market still very young. I believe that in 2025 the crypto market is still alive and continuing to grow

People will keep creating new coins claiming to be the next revolution in the finance system. But I suppose the Darwin theory will show us that only the real project will still be alive. 2025-this is not the period for which something can happen not in favor of crypto. Crypto, on the contrary, is just beginning its way to development and by 2025 there will be even more coins.

Shitcoins are destined to die on the longer run and would comeback into ashes and talking about bitcoin which it do really have that big potential and reaching 2025 is just easy and other altcoins as well but only to those who really had the potential. I have seen some old coin like NXT and ZCoin dumped hard now and there are no others sign the price will be back to the top price,  the price was going down 1/20 from the highest, and this is not only because the crypto market crash but also too many competition on the market. There are new coin listed on the market mostly everyday , and we need more new money to increase the demand.

Increasing the demand is not the main thing. Not only NXT OR ZCoin but even ICONOMI, TIME, VDICE, this are some projects which got ICO investment fully but even then their price is nearly 90% down. So investing in altcion for long term is very risky.
