Title: Could MtGox be headed to the Bahamas soon?
Post by: ChuckBuck on February 20, 2014, 02:08:17 PM
Scummy scummy company moving it's physical office and forcing users to "verify" their accounts before withdrawing :

http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-price-hits-135-mt-gox-office-move-verification-demand/ (http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-price-hits-135-mt-gox-office-move-verification-demand/)

Just like that, the price hits $135 on MtGox and creating more FUD in Bitcoinland.

Why won't it die already?  Someone chop off it's head(Karpeles)!   >:(

Definitely, despite the FUD, doom, and gloom I'm here for the long haul.

Just sucks for all the other bitcoiners that have money trapped in Gox.

I did get verified recently and it went quicker than I thought it would based on all the feedback on the net. However I haven't yet done anything with the account because of all the negative press.

Does that give me the opportunity to buy cheap BTC there and be able to get it out? Or shouldn't I risk it?

The problem is that Gox is messing the price up, and dragging all other exchnages and btc itself down into the mud.  And gox don't care.

It might be a work in progress for you and others the next 24 hours:

If you can, more power to you.  Just very risky, as you probably know already.
