Currently, the network has been updated to utilise the DGW (Dark Gravity Wave). DGW operates by collecting key information from the previous blocks and re-calculating the difficulty every block. Compared to Bitcoin, which re-calculates the difficulty every 2016 blocks; strayacoin will recalculate the difficulty to target the block time of 2.5 minutes when our network hashrate is changed.

How do I get strayacoin?
Ultimately, you are able to obtain strayacoin through either an official exchange or setting up a “miner” to help the blockchain validate transactions. If you’d like an idea on how much strayacoin you would generally receive from mining, head on down to the “Mining Tools & Setup” under services. Generally, mining can be quite intensive especially for those new to the crypto space, if you are new; we recommend you purchase strayacoin directly from an exchange.

it's an old coin that's trying to get up again and fix things up by making announcements updates, but I think almost everyone knows this is just an attempt to fix the profit figure alone, and it seems like a lot of frustrating, I suggest to make this project more innovative with feature and system updates, I think it would be better and might be able to attract more enthusiasts than ever

I have a modified cpuminer-opt for scrypt-NAH which is Strayacoin's modified proof of work in the last release to boot ASICs off the network, it can be found here: https://github.com/catcoin-project/cpuminer-opt-scryptnah.  Currently there is only a Windows binary, but if you look at the first commit message there's a snippet of the changes to scrypt.c so you can compile for your system and mine Strayacoin on Linux, Mac, etc.

There's also a pool with a modified stratum server at https://pool.larahelpers.com which is the only Strayacoin pool that works with scrypt NAH that I am aware of.  If anyone wants to help me test it I would appreciate the help.  I want to ensure payment runs work properly etc.

It's not a Strayacoin issue, as far as I can tell.

If you are still here, I would say the mining pool didn't update their stratum server to accept scrypt-nah, perhaps? Strayacoin changed their PoW algorithm to get rid of ASICs.  I'm sure if you give the official wallet a go and try mining there or at my own pool (you need the modified scrypt-nah binary) you can get some coins.
