Most of the common people think that bitcoin is used only by hackers and criminals,even one of my friend said that it is used by hackers when I am telling about crypto currency to him.Later I explained what is bitcoin and other crypto currencies but still he confused,he can only get what is bitcoin when he research about himself.

In this situation how can we explain that what is real bitcoin?

I will not believe   because bitcoin is a  decentralised currency. It cannot be made illlegal by any governing authority.

unfortunately there is lots of FUD that has misled many people but i still don't believe that the majority of people in the world think that way. i believe that most people already know that bitcoin is not "illegal" or "used by hackers",... but the reason why they are not still getting involved with it is the volatility, the FUD about it "ending bad" and things like that, and the thought that bitcoin is complicated.

I will explane to them that this bitcoin we can trust it this is not illegal many peoples now are joining here because they trust and this is a asset we can asure our future hear you need to know about this bitcoin before you judge.

Make your friend understand that with every  currency there are pros and cons. Bitcoin is decentralized and ensures anonymity of holders.  Because of this  anonymity hackers prefer using this to their own advantage. But that is not the aim of bitcoin. The aim if bitcoin is to ensure true decentralization, safe and secure transactions, relatively lower fees per each transaction and so on. The merits far outweigh the demerits.

If you want to explain bitcoin to someone just tell the person that bitcoin have the same characteristics and function like our fiat currency. It can be use for payment of goods and services. The only difference is that it cannot be seen physically.

I always said no to them that bitcoin is legal and explain to them what bitcoin really entails and tell them to also invest in cryto currency

Most of the people in the world just repeating the rumors what they have heard but still they refuse to accept when we are explaining to them.But still the bitcoin is not familiar to the world only about 20% of the world population might heard about it.

If we can't change their opinion then the rumors will spread all over the world soon and it might kill the crypto currencies as well.

When they say this you immediately know they have never really researched bitcoin, but it's not worth my time to keep trying to educate people who seemingly know "all about it" already.

Things are needed to be seen from 2 sides: Good and bad.
It's people's way of thinking and their nature that we need to deal with, while making such individuals understand that everything in this world has a disadvantage too, because nothing comes without challenges. Hackers and criminals using Bitcoins for their false motives is one side of the picture, whereas the good here is that: Bitcoin has eradicated the boundaries between people at a global level giving them the opportunity to freely send/exchange money from one place to another anywhere in the world at a cost of a small chocolate bar. It consists of a technology we call as blockchain which is completely immutable and transparent that makes it one of its own kind of an invention. As well, Bitcoin is such an asset that gives so positive returns where your money makes more money if it's in BTC.

Yes i believe on  that maybe they don't really even know what is bitcoin yet. If bitcoin is eligal we cannot maybe used it for payment. Maybe bitcoin will also banned in all countries, but it is not and I think only few countries banned bitcoin. Bitcoin is not eligal but I think it depends upon the government and their decision about crypto.

The people saying that bitcoin is illegal do not understand what butcoin actually is.
They do not have knowledge about cryptocurrency ....so they term it illegal or scam.

I once was in this kind of situation and I tried as much I can to convince the person about the legality of bitcoin but he proved to be difficult, at that point I have to refer him to make research about crypto currencies and blockchain as well, which he did and came back to me for more directives.

Frankly speaking you don't say anything. Cause there is no sense in trying to convince them as they have been fooled by the media into believing that Bitcoin is only used for illegal things. With time they will understand how wrong they were in thinking this way about Bitcoin and how big mistake they made by staying out of the crypto markets.

If it tends to be more of the person is not ready to hear you out then tell  him/her ooow ok if it illegal I hear  :). Try as much as possible to change your  life within the shortest possible time, trust me he will go and search the true meaning of bitcoin

If someone said that to me I'd take my baseball bat and beat some sense into him. What do you want me to say? If the person was someone close to me I'd try persuasion and I have a lot of viable arguments at my disposal. If that was a stranger I wouldn't waste my time and energy. I don't feel like an evangelist and won't try to turn people into believers unless they start paying me.

It's simple, he will never understand what you tell him, and what you tell him will never be complete information no matter how much you try, so allow him to do what he wants to do, do his own research, then he can decide for himself if crypto is good for him or not.

Well, i would probably say nothing and leave. Don't like to talk with ignorant people.

We cannot deny that bitcoin is used by many criminals due to bitcoin transaction is almost untrackable.
But there are a lot of positive things about it also

I always try my best to explain on how Bitcoin is really legit and is not a scam. I understand them because they lack knowledge about Cryptocurrency especially in Bitcoin because of some cases where there are reported Bitcoin scams in the community. But I always tell them that Bitcoin is LEGIT and could really help us make profit and to become a successful trader.

I really tried them to explain about Bitcoin. Also the way of earning from cryptocurrency and the benefit. This is really secure if you have used in a right way. Still they never agreed. Better ignore them. They might be the looser for sure

My mates have asked about Bitcoin and question if I am concerned that I will get in trouble for owing them  ;D
My response is that my bank and exchange would get in trouble too, so NO there is nothing to be concerned about.

I would do the same thing which is to explain more information about Bitcoin and if they don't want to listen then it's their loss they don't know what they're going to miss in the next couple of years. I encountered this scenario before with my friend who said Bitcoin was a scam and showed me the video about a ponzi. I explained it to him how it wasn't a scam after that he still kept saying it was a scam. I stopped sharing my Bitcoin thoughts with my friends after that conversation.

i take bitcoin as a technology and i am not using it in any illegal works.if people say btc illegal then i can say money is also illegal.bcz with using money people buy illegal things

We cant do anything other than convincing them...and they are telling all these because of a reason as all the illegal works are done using bitcoins only...As bitcoin is anonymous...so the transaction can not be traced...So they say bitcoin as illegal and we need to make them understand about bitcoin....but they will not believe us as we are just students.

That is right, he will never understand you that is why we should just let him explore, whenever I am encountering those people what I am usually telling them is that they should discover it themselves or else they are missing the chance.

Explaining how bitcoin works and what it offers is an enlightening start especially to
the ones eager to hear and learn. But to the critics and close-minded individuals no
level of persuasion can really gratify their point of view. Bitcoins has pros and cons
and that determines how people perceive and favor them. It's really a matter of

Unfortunately some people still have that opinion and the cause is partialy the very begininig of Bitcoin when it was used for buying goods on illegal markets.

There was a time that is used heavily used in shady websites for illegal transactions, but that is not the only use of it. Feed him with documentaries about bitcoin so he can know better. If he still refuses to acknowledge the value of bitcoin, then give up. You cannot force crypto to anyone.

I would tell them to stop listening to mainstream media and television. Start researching online instead. You wont be able to explain bitcoin to someone who already has hes totally wrong but rock solid opinion. Most people doesnt even know what decentralization means. Without that you can hardly explain the core of bitcoin.

 We may have different understanding people who are not aware about Bitcoin, some are no interest, some are not technically inclined to learn, some are just the other side of the coin, they want an easy money but don't want to learn the in's and out of the market, just respect them for nothing we can do if they are not interested in Bitcoin.

I should say if it illegal why are so many people are joining and investing in crypto currency, they are feared of other saying that it is scam , if it is illegal the fbi would conduct investigation on this crypto matters which is circulating in the internet , but none cryptocurrency nowadays is in demand and many customers and investors are willing to join and participate in this cryptocurrency.

Why do we always need to explain? Let them believe what they want to believe in! If they say that Bitcoin is a scwm, so be it! It's their lost not ours. Don't waste your time on such people. They are saying those things because they either don't have money to invest or they are not interested on it.

Many people think for that thing they said that bitcoin is a scam but i told to them that bitcoin is legit not scam . Many are open minded they are not welling to search about bitcoin before they can say that bitcoin is scam.

I try to teach him actually by asking a few questions. One of my friends asked me that why you support bitcoins which is bad and which is using in the darknet! I relied upon that Not only bitcoin But also every coin, Every kind of money is using by the criminals. So, why you don't blame those money? Here it is not a fault of the bitcoin, It's criminal! I would definitely stand up for bitcoin! I personally experience what bitcoin really is! It is a legal virtual currency better known as cryptocurrency. Yes, there are still people saying that like for example some of my co workers I tried to invite them to invest in Bitcoin but because they've seen news about Bitcoin that was being used to scan people in our Country they easily turned down me in investing Bitcoin because of that news. Well I just showed them my income in the previous year to give them proof that Bitcoin is not a scammed but an opportunity to change someone's life.

Well, if a person is really confused about the legal status then it is worth it to spend some time and explain it to him about the current legal scenario regarding the crypto industry. I've had such encounter several times but my reaction actually depends on who said that and my relationship with that person. If I realize the person has taken his stands and not up for explanations, I ignore him. However, I take my time to educate those who are ready to learn about bitcoin to clear their perceptions. The best way to explain bitcoin to someone who has no knowledge about cryptocurrency is by starting with digital currency. Explain what digital currency is and the features of digital currency to them. nothingly surprising because i know im also into this bitcoin world, im a bounty hunter and had a chance to have even few amount of bitcoin, and i can say its not illegal, im paying attrntion on my campaigns and have a hardwork to it thus they just say to me its illegal? maybe they are saying bitcoin is illegal if they are scammed, the money they invest on it is scammed by someone.

Say what you want to say its your decision i can't blame you for that because you dont experience it and you really don't know what really is bitcoin, i think that's what i say if i encounter someone who don't believe in bitcoin and when they say its a illegal things.. Now a days, some countries are using this bitcoin for illegal activity such as scamming people from creating a pool in a community, using bitcoin to deal with evil activity such a drugs, illegal weapon, and many more, so it is very hard to explain this to people who close their mind to listen in a good side of crypto. I suggest you to invite your friend into a group that related in crypto or invite your friend here in our forum to study and learn more about crypto, to see by himself that crypto has also a goodside.

We cannot blame them because they knew it base of the news reported in television or in the internet, but for me if someone say bitcoin is illegal, i will tell them that every thing in this world can be use in good or in bad intention it really depends on the users on how they wanted to use it. When someone say that bitcoin is illegal thing i would say them no..I will explain to them how bitcoin is legal.Because in my own opinion bitcoin for me is for investment help gain profit and income.

Just give a comparison on how fiat money from the bank are being hacked by these hackers. And that's not only for bitcoin, as long as there's value on something hackers will come and go for it.

The majority of people's recognition of bitcoin is still a few years ago, and there is a lot of bitcoin used to be illegal, but we can't think of bitcoin as negative.

People who think Bitcoin is illegal means they do not have a strong sense of desire to do something better. We should understand that bitcoin can give us convenience, speed and security in every transaction. the thing to think about is how we set up a regulation to make things easier for Bitcoin. Its not created by illegal people. Its not meant to harm people. How is it illegal?
Technically, anything in this world can become illegal when people use them for illegal purposes. Cash can be illegal too. Legal or non legal just the matter of who use that thing for what purpose.

if I say something like that, I replied, how do you know if bitcoin is illegal, bitcoin may not be illegal, let alone bitcoin users of large countries that already know bitcoin. so bitcoin is not illegal. if only bitcoin illegal bitcoin must have been deleted in global. and not used anymore.

I have nothing to do but to ignore them , i dont want to waste my time to explain and to prove that bitcoin is legal , because nothing change in what they believe .

Just leave them alone, Bitcoin is not just easy to understand, its technical and perceived to be scam by people who are no information about Bitcoin digital currency, some are even adamant to participate in investment for Bitcoin in the market...People sometime are very reserved in term of investment, be it on long term or short term investment for Bitcoin, they need to understand the market, fundamentals, market structure, most of the time people are in Patient for such information to take.

Well, just tell them Bitcoin is Legal and is acknowledged by the Governments in BIG Countries and it is operating Worldwide. Tell him that it exists for 10 years now and is proven beneficial and reliable.  If he still won't believe, then leave him and never ever talk about it to him, talk to anyone/someone who believes and wants to know more about it.

I would always oppose their opinions if they have negative thoughts about Bitcoin. I will tell people that Bitcoin is legitimate and that Bitcoin is only used for the purpose of paying for internet services and is not used for bad purposes like the government says.

I think it's useless to explain it, because they will not immediately believe what you've explained about bitcoin, better explain it and let him or her see how the bitcoin or crypto work, and provide evidence of results joining crypto, once they know how it works and see evidence. the result of the crypto, surely they will realize that all this time has misjudged bitcoin or cryptol.

Sometimes, it can be difficult selling your idea to someone especially when they already have a misconception relating to the topic in question and the subject matter of bitcoin is no different.
Not everyone knows exactly what and how bitcoin run which means there will be a lot of misconception but the first thing you will need to do is not getting angry but taking your time in explaining what it is by differentiating Fiat currency and cryptocurrency, explaining blockchain and encouraging the person to do a little research and ask you questions. I have seen and met several people that call bitcoin scam and says other sort of negative things about it, the only reply i do give them is to make deep research about it and understand the concept.

It's been a lot of people like that, but well there is no reason to declare that actually bitcoin has a good role and has a more positive side towards about the excess. They only judge without more thorough, we who are long closer to bitcoin there is no reason to explain the truth and prove that bitcoin is not something that only smells negative.

Its been very difficult to change the mindset of some people who usually castigates bitcoiners I had also met many individuals who said btc is hyip, scam, mmm and makes many unsavoury remarks about btc however all these remarks does not deterred me from convincing them the truth and facts about btc.

First thing we all should understand is we cannot change the opinion of others if they have a negative mentality. Every currency has advantages as well as disadvantages. People tend to think that when there is anonymity, it is illegal. there may be hackers who use bitcoin because of this anonymity. But we cannot conclude bitcoin is illegal because of this. Bitcoin is a great currency which allows decentralization.It lessens the transaction fees and helps in quick transactions.

Many friends say that because bitcoin is prohibited in my country. But they do not understand, which is prohibited only use as currency, and not prohibited if used as a commodity and investment. The government only warns that bitcoin is a high-risk investment. Often I justify the misunderstanding, and explain more about cryptocurrency, well there are those who will understand and some do not.

If in your country bitcoin is not prohibited, then tell them about it. Also name the functions of bitcoin and advantages. But why do you need to persuade them?!))

It is not new to me that people says bitcoin is illegal and scam and I understand them because they know nothing about crypto currency and I will make them understand that bitcoin is not scam but there are others who take advantage by the popularity of bitcoin and they used it to scam other people and above all bitcoin is not illegal maybe there are countries who tried to give bad name to bitcoin.

Say that the name bitcoin is just used. It is used as a way of paying for investment. Just like the fiat money used in gambling and pyramiding scams on bitcoin is also possible. So if they do not believe we will let them go and show them the things that bitcoin has given us.

well I ask the reason for it and mainly they do say things that are known by everyone and have not a support by any kind of research and fact. So when they say it it is obviously that they don`t know why they say it and it is good to remind this to them.

I have met many people that say Bitcoin is illegal or it won't stay revelant for long I have tried to reason with them and show them various sources supporting my point.Some have given it serious thought but most of them have dismissed the idea or won't hear other opinion.

If bitcoin was an illegal thing, I think there weren't specialists, who know about bitcoin and cryptoccurency everything. Finally, they consider the bitcoin to be illegal. There is no denying that a person's intellectual level is very influential in understanding bitcoin or crypto currency. I think these people lack awareness and proper understanding of what truly bitcoin is. I can try to explain to them what's the real nature of bitcoin, show to them a proof, set proper expectation,and encourage them. There’s nothing to believe because we all know bitcoin and it really changedy life as well as the others even if they say that is illegal it is their belief nothing to prove anything to them. We cannot force them to like bitcoin.

In my case my husband is really against in Bitcoin because he has a friend who was a victim of scammer, and also he saw some news in television that Bitcoin is a scam.
