Title: Bitcoin processors?
Post by: Ezenwanyi1 on August 01, 2018, 01:11:22 PM
To be able to meet the global ecommerce demand, there's the need for the development of as many processors as possible.
True or false?

definitely true, the consumption of energy by bitcoin processors is huge. They must be optimum with lowest energy consumption.

Processors as concierge or processors for machines? The t
OP seem to be vague, but I'd still give my thoughts on the two points I've given.

Payment processors, IMO, removes the decentralized and trust-less nature of bitcoin. While it helps vendors to not get caught in bitcoin's volatility, bitcoin loses its identity and essence just to save a few merchants from potential losses. In order to eliminate the need for payment processors and get more merchants on board, volatility must be eliminated, though that in itself is already a pretty hard tssk to acheive.

On the side of processors for mining, it's already accomplished by dedicated ASICs capable of doing complex algorithms for bitcoins in an impressive rate. Surely in time, more and more powerful, cost-efficient and greener processors might be released, thanks to our advancements in technology. We don't need to add more miners, we just need to decentralize them IMO.

I assume OP is referring to payment processors such as BitPay? Sure, healthy competition and more options for merchants would be nice. It would also likely help adoption along.

Still, the endgame is not having to rely on payment processors (or exchanges for that matter) in the first place, ie. widely adopted usage of Bitcoin by itself and not just as a proxy for fiat transactions. That's still far off though, assuming that day ever comes.

Yes, it is true. They consume a lot of energy and we need to come up with a way in order to reduce this level of energy consumption. Since the demand for BTC is huge, the processors that are needed requires a lot of energy.

no we don't need payment processors. in fact the notion of a payment processor for a decentralized currency that was created so that we don't need a third party middle man is kind of absurd if you think about it.
but because of volatility and the fact that merchants (for now) want fiat more than bitcoin, means bitcoin payment processors such as BitPay are a thing! in the future as bitcoin becomes more popular and acts more as a currency and also becomes more stable after reaching mass adoption, we can see payment processors become obsolete. although we have many years till that time.

There will be definitely need for processors because of the increasing demand we are facing each day. BitPay, Coinbase are some famous Bitcoin processors and they help users to purchase from several online shops and merchants you accept Bitcoin as a payment method. More processors will help the market to get saturated with the option for us to choose the best processor among them.

I think Bitcoin is the most popular and widely used. The number of subscribers in the future will increase further. So the processor can change to keep its dynamics. Now it will be good to serve the team after survival of the contestants.

Optimization in the processors for least less reduction or consumption of energy. Processors should be more capable of renewable energy. BTC processors development has been a dire need since its evolvement and more likely to spread its capacity and users countlessly...

I don't understand which processors are you talking about. However, I think both the processors are very much needed. For Asic mining better processors are required for mining coins faster and for processing the coin, sites like BitPay are working in a great way to normalize Bitcoin payment among merchants and online vendors.

That's why anonymous exchanges (https://www.cryptogamblingsites.com/trading/anonymous-exchanges/) and decentralized exchanges are becoming more popular. This will only increase because people in every country will see there is value in being able to "move money" in return for bitcoin or altcoins.

I do not agree. The supply of bitcoin is sufficient enough for all of us. It is because not all are aware of the cryptocurrencies and some forfeit to use it. But, what we need is ICOs which are very successful so that more people will be fascinated by the applications of cryptos.

NO WE DONT.

ICO's (https://www.cryptogamblingsites.com/trading/icos/) are the newest ponzi scheme that will push people AWAY from crypto more than help bring crypto to the masses.

Most ICO's launching now are nothing more than a whitepaper and a "promise" that a product will be built. What if they don't build a product? What if the team breaks up? What if the project fails like the 500 other ICO's and Altcoins that have failed?

People that take this line of ICO's and altcoins being "good" are usually greedy assholes that want to rob people. Buy Bitcoin and just hodl rather than buying into all the hype ICO's.

I agree with this. Actually the users of bitcoin are increasing day by day a s a result of increasing demand. So to maintain such huge demand, bitcoin needs to develop their processors and I hope that bitcoin will do it very soon.

Processors? what processors? those services where the merchants are using for their products and services?

I assume OP is referring to payment processors such as BitPay? Sure, healthy competition and more options for merchants would be nice. It would also likely help adoption along.
If this is what OP is pointing out.

I agree that it's a healthy competition and the market will be lively due to these players that are coming in.

We really need bitcoin payment processors and there are some stores and merchants accepting bitcoin as form of payment. Steam used to accept bitcoin but had to withdraw this feature because of its high volatility and high transaction cost, that was few months ago. Currently coinbase has launched a new feature where you can convert your btcs into gift cards and shop from specific stores. I hope more and more payment processors are made to use bitcoin for ecommerce transactions.

No doubt we need this. And most importantly we need it super fast. If possible china or US government should work on it, possibly a super computer can come in handy. This will happen in no time.

Mining crypto currency strongly affects the profit of such companies as nvidia, amd or bitmain. Now the market is not in a better situation(profitability of the equipment falls) This companies are suffering serious losses. The demand for miners is much higher than the demand of gamers

As you know that bitcoin is a very strong system so no one can dismiss it for long we can say that bitcoin is the one which is ready to change the world money system and through the country values will also change now the big trading is done through bitcoin and there is no barrier of countries and if we see that demand is rising the technology also fast to capture the demand for the good reasons.

Processors? you mean those entities that will use bitcoin and accept it with their services and merchandise?

Adoption does really need for many these type of people including us. But it's happening and we don't know on how long it will meet that point where almost everywhere you go there is a bitcoin accepting restaurant, bus stations, train stations and so on.
