Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE:ICE), a leading operator of global exchanges, clearing houses, data and listings services, announced today that it plans to form a new company, Bakkt, which intends to leverage Microsoft cloud solutions to create an open and regulated, global ecosystem for digital assets. The new company is working with a group of organizations including BCG, Microsoft, Starbucks, and others, to create an integrated platform that enables consumers and institutions to buy, sell, store and spend digital assets on a seamless global network.

World's Biggest Stock Exchange Operator ICE To Launch A Bitcoin Market


Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) has made a very important announcement. ICE, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange(NYSE)
stated that it will list physically-settled bitcoin-related contracts (future contracts) and will form a new company with the goal of making
Bitcoin a mainstream financial asset.

On Friday, the ICE broke out this big announcement and revealed this new platform named Bakkt. The associates of this platform is a collection of
some fantastic companies like Microsoft, Starbucks, and BCG.

The platform Bakkt will combine with the ICE’s U.S futures market and also the clearinghouse. This combination will result in the listing of a physically-settled
one-day bitcoin product. This product will be launched in November as the regulatory approval is pending.

To quote the CEO of Bakkt, Kelly Loeffler,

“Bakkt is deigned to serve as a scalable on-ramp for institutional, merchant and consumer participation in digital assets by promoting greater efficiency, security and utility.” Adding more to it, the CEO stated, “ We are collaborating to build an open platform that helps unlock the transformative potential of digital assets across global markets and commerce.”

ICE making two announcements allowing BTC promotions go wider is a good news as my assumption. A marketplace by a stock giant will make a good hype in the crypto-space which will make the market more familiar to Americans allowing them to get involved in Cryptocurrency market.

This is really a very big thing for the industry. If corporate heavyweights like ICE, Microsoft and Starbucks joins together to ensure a better ecosystem for cryptos then many people will get interested and demand for cryptos will rise again. Which in return might wake the market up again.

I think the new companies are Bakkt are more potential and probable. its feature made by advance technology. it has more advance service for investor. It can improve people trust by its secure services.

Having the ability to transact digital assets will enable the users more ease when they are working. This will be a good thing indeed, especially in the time when the market is in chaos.
